(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 28 were illegally arrested.

1. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Detained

Six practitioners from Heitai Town were arrested on December 14, 2016, by officers from the Taiping Town Police Station, for telling others about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being detained in the Mishan City Detention Center.

The detained practitioners include Ms. Wang Yufeng, Ms. Yu Xiuxiang, Mr. Fan Mingsheng, Ms. Guo Xiuhua, Ms. Yang Shuxian, and Ms. Shang Yanhua.

2. [Shanghai] Ms. Liu Caifan Arrested

Ms. Liu Caifan from Hongkou District was arrested on December 15, 2016, for telling others about the persecution of Falun Gong.

3. [Shanghai] Ms. Qi Bingjuan Detained

Ms. Qi Bingjuan of Pudong District was arrested on December 17, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Nanhui Detention Center.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Jinguo Arrested

Ms. Wang Jinguo from Binhai District was arrested for telling others about the persecution of Falun Gong on the afternoon of December 19, 2016 by officers from the Shengli Police Station.

5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuhua and Ms. Li Jianying Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiuhua and Ms. Li Jianying from the Jiutai District were arrested for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the afternoon of December 18, 2016 by officers from the Yingcheng Police Station. They are subjected to 15 days of detention and held at the Jiutai District Detention Center.

6. [Chongqing] Three Practitioners Held at Brainwashing Center

Ms. Wu Xiuhui and her husband Mr. Qu from the Yongchuan District, as well as Ms. Zhang Xiaomei were taken to the Huangnibang Brainwashing Center on December 8, 2016.

7. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Mr. Xie Xiaoguang and Ms. Yan Huifang Imprisoned

Mr. Xie Xiaoguang was sentenced to three-and-a-half-year for suing former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. He is imprisoned in the Xinmi County Prison in Zhengzhou City.

Ms. Yan Huifang was sentenced to three years for suing Jiang Zemin. She is imprisoned in Xinxiang Women's Prison.

8. [Jilin City, Jinlin Province] Ms. Nie Tianhong Detained

Ms. Nie Tianhong, 49, was arrested on December 17, 2016 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Zhongdong Mall by officers from the Yuebei Police Station. She was subjected to ten days detention and is being held in the Jilin City Detention Center.

9. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Mr. Huang Xuejun Transferred to Detention Center

Mr. Huang Xuejun was arrested on September 10, 2016, and transferred on December 16, 2016 from a brainwashing center to the Anlu City Detention Center.

10. [Songzi City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Lei Tizhen, Ms. Wang Xinqiong, and Ms. Li Xianzhen were arrested on December 14, 2016 in Wanshi Town, by officers from the Zhaowan City Police Station. Ms. Li was released the same day because of her old age. The other two were held at Gongan Detention Center.

11. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Ms. Yang Jianxia and Her Husband Detained

Ms. Yang Jianxia and her husband were arrested on the morning of October 3, 2016, by officers from the Baiyin District Police Department. They were held for ten days.
