Ms. Xu Yongqin of Zhusong Village, Xinzhuang Town was arrested on August 17, 2016 by an officer from the Tengjia Police Station, while she was telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong in a farmers market in Laizhou City.

Ms. Shen Guiyun was arrested on August 16, 2016, and has been held in the Changliu Detention Center in Tonghua City.

4. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Sun Liping Detained

Ms. Sun Liping was arrested on August 16, 2016 by officers from Xihu Police Department, Domestic Security Division, and Jiang Village Police Station. Hangzhou City 610 Office ordered the arrest. The officers confiscated her computer, printer, picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and other items. She has been held at Hangzhou City Detention Center.

Mr. Bai Hanwen of Badaying Township, Longhua County was arrested on the afternoon of August 17, 2016 by officers from the Badaying Township Police Station. They confiscated his Falun Gong books and held him at the Lanqi Police Station.

9. [Yunmeng County, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Xiaofeng Held at Brainwashing Center After Detention

Ms. Yang Xiaofeng, 53, was arrested on August 5, 2016 by officers from the Yujiashan Police Station, while she was telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners near Hubei Province Chinese Traditional Medicine Hospital in Wuhan City. She was detained for 10 days in Wuhan City Detention Center. When she was released on August 16, officers from a local police station took her to the Hubei Province Banqiao Brainwashing Center and held her there.

10. [Linfen City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Jia Yizhen Arrested

Ms. Jia Yizhen was arrested at home on August 16, 2016 by officers from Ludong Police Station in Yaodu District.

Ms. Zhang Shurong and Ms. Han Lan from Changchun No.1 Motor Company were arrested on the afternoon of August 4, 2016 by officers from Automobile Industrial Zone Domestic Security Division, while they were telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. They were released five hours later.

13. [Fanshi County, Shanxi Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Meiyun, Mr. Li Pingyu, Ms. Ren Hua, and Ms. Yang Junjun were arrested at home on January 13, 2016 by officers from local police station. Their computer, printer, Falun Gong books, and more than 20,000 yuan cash were confiscated.

Mr. Liang Tiancai was arrested on January 14, 2016. His home was ransacked.
