(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 17 were illegally arrested.

1. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Guangxian Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Zhang Guangxian, nearly 70, was arrested on the morning of January 26, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. He was detained in the Naxi Detained Center.

He was secretly tried and sentenced to one year in prison on June 7, 2016, but his term was increased to three years on October 21, 2016.

2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Jin Yongxin and Wife Ms. Bian Lixun Arrested

Mr. Jin Yongxin and his wife Ms. Bian Lixun were arrested at home on the morning of December 2, 2016.

3. [Fukang City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Zheng Zuoyun and Ms. Wang Wendi Arrested

Ms. Zheng Zuoyun and Ms. Wang Wendi were recently arrested.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Four practitioners from the Daoli District were sentenced to prison at the end of October 2016.

Mr. Zhu Qiangong and Mr. Liu Qingfu were sentenced to three years in prison.Ms. Liu Shuhua and Ms. Gao Yulin were sentenced to four years in prison.

5. [Mengshan County, Guangxi Province] Ms. Liu Qinglian and Ms. Liu Qingchun Arrested

Ms. Liu Qinglian and Ms. Liu Qingchun were arrested at home on the morning of November 27, 2016.

Officers from the Mengshan County Domestic Security Division and the police station ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books and personal belongings.

Ms. Liu Qingchun was released that afternoon. Ms. Liu Qinglian's whereabouts is unknown.

Both are from Gupai Village, Xihe Town.

6. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Xiaozhen Detained

Ms. Huang Xiaozhen was arrested on November 27, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. Her home was also ransacked.

She is held in the Fuda Detention Center in the Meixian District.

7. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yanwen and Ms. Liu Lijun Detained

Ms. Liu Yanwen and Ms. Liu Lijun from Weiping Township, Xingcheng City, were arrested by officers from the Jianchang Town Police Station on December 1, 2016, for distributing calendars that contain information about Falun Gong.

Both are held in the Huludao Detention Center.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Huang Shudan Detained

Ms. Huang Shudan was recently arrested by officers from the Shuguang Police Station, Nanguan District. She was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center.

9. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Bu Zhaorong Arrested

Mr. Bu Zhaorong from the Chengxin area was arrested on the morning of December 2, 2016. His home was also ransacked

10. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jia Xiuru Released on Bail

Ms. Jia Xiuru was arrested at home on the afternoon of November 29, 2016. Officers from the Jilin City 610 Office and police department ransacked the place.

She was released on bail due to a physical illness that she developed during two days of detention.

Her family was forced to pay 3,000 yuan.

11. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Qi Yanming Detained

Mr. Qi Yanming, 53, from the Longtan District, was arrested on a high-speed train from Jilin to Changchun on November 25, 2016.

Officers from the Changyi Domestic Security Division ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, two printers, all his Falun Gong books and other personal belongings.

He was held in Jilin City Detention Center for 15 days.

12. [Maanshan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhang Guifang and Ms. Hu Suchun Detained

Ms. Zhang Guifang was followed and arrested by plainclothes officers on the afternoon of October 19, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. Her home was ransacked, and she is held in a detention center.

Ms. Hu Suchun was arrested on November 28, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. She is held in a detention center.

13. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xu Xiangdong Detained

Mr. Xu Xiangdong was arrested in Beijing. He was transferred to Yushu City by the Yushu Police Department's Domestic Security Division on December 2, 2016.

He was given 15 days of detention.

14. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Dai Jianjun Detained

Mr. Dai Jianjun was arrested at work on November 17, 2016, and was held in the Zhangjiakou City Lockup Center for 15 days.

When his family went to bring him back on December 1, they learned that he had been taken to a detention center.

Ms. Liu Jing was arrested at home by officers from the Xiaotun Town Police Station at noon on December 1, 2016. She was detained.
