Mr. Yu Hongfu and his wife Ms. Chu Yuzhen were arrested at home on the morning of November 13, 2016.

Officers from the Shulan City Domestic Security Division and Nancheng Police Station ransacked their home and confiscated computers, printers, cellphones, and other personal belongings.

Mr. Yu was taken to the Shulan Detention Center, but Ms. Chu was refused admittance because she was diagnosed with having several illnesses. She was released.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Maoji Arrested

Mr. Wang Maoji from Dama Village was arrested on the afternoon of November 22, 2016.

Officers from the Fangzi District Domestic Security Division and Mucun Police Station ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, Falun Gong books, and other Dafa related materials. Mr. Wang was released on bail.

3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Zhongguo Detained

Mr. Wang Zhongguo, 67, from Linghai City, was arrested on November 10, 2016, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

Officers from the Jianye Township Police Station ransacked his home and confiscated his Falun Gong books.

Mr. Wang was taken to the Linghai Lockup Center. Family visits were denied. He was transferred to the Linghai City Detention Center five days later.

4. [Wuwei City, Gansu Province] Ms. Guo Yinxiang Detained

Ms. Guo Yinxiang was arrested at home on November 20, 2016, by officers from the Liangzhou District Police Department and Domestic Security Division.

She was placed under criminal detention for 15 days, held in the Wuwei City Detention Center, and fined 1,000 yuan.

Ms. Guo is from Chenjiagou Village, Hongxiang Town, Liangzhou District.

5. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Original Sentencing of Ms. Liu Xilan and Mr. Cheng Jianli Upheld

Ms. Liu Xilan was given a seven-year prison term, and Mr. Cheng Jianli a five-year prison term in July 2016. They both appealed.

The Hefei City Intermediate Court tried and upheld the original sentences on October 20, 2016.

Ms. Liu and Mr. Cheng were arrested in May 2014.

6. [Tianjin] Ms. Su Fengting Arrested

Ms. Su Fengting was arrested and taken to the Dongmen Police Station on November 19, 2016, for telling people about Falun Gong.

She was beaten for refusing to cooperate with the police. They took blood samples, photos, and fingerprinted her. She was released that night after police had extorted 4,000 yuan from her family.

Ms. Su Fengting is from Dawangguzhuang Town, Wuqing District.

7. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Zhenxiang Detained

Mr. Zhang Zhenxiang from Lingyuan City was arrested by officers from the Chengguan Town Police Station on his way home after work, on the afternoon of November 16, 2016. He is held at the Lingyuan City Detention Center.

8. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Yunxia Given Three-Year-and-Six-Month Prison Term

Ms. Zhang Yunxia was given a three-year-and-six-month prison term by the Jinshui Court on May 12, 2015. She was arrested by officers from the Jinshui Police Department on March 31, 2014.

Ms. Liu Jinyu, Ms. Shi Ying, and Ms. Bao Yan were tried by the Development Zone Court on October 21, October 27, and November 18, 2016, respectively.

10. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Lou Heying Tried

Ms. Lou Heying was arrested by Liu Changbao, from the Domestic Security Division, and officers from the Xiaotan Township Police Station on July 26, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials.

She was held in the Xinxiang City Detention Center and tried on November 21, 2016.

Ms. Lou Heying is from Wenyan Village, Chengguan Town, Yanjin County.

Twelve practitioners were arrested on November 3, 2016. Seven are still being held in a detention center, and the others were released.

The detained practitioners are: Ms. An Jing, Ms. Han Qing, Ms. Ye Zhongqiu, Ms. Han Chunxiang, Mr. Zhao Chengli, Mr. Chen Hong, and Mr. Yang Min.

Ms. Zhang Xiaochun was arrested by plainclothes officers in the Nanyuan Residential Community, Qingfeng Neighborhood, Xingqing District on November 23, 2016.

14. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Liang Guixiang Taken to Brainwashing Center

Liang Guixiang, 54, was arrested and taken to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center on October 28, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator, for his role in launching the persecution of Falun Gong.

15. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Li Detained

Ms. Jiang Li, a teacher of English at the Neijiang Teachers College, was reported for talking about Falun Gong in her class. She was arrested on November 11, 2016.

Police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer, and other personal belongings.

Ms. Jiang was detained in the Pi County Detention Center for 15 days.

16. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Gao Meiling Detained

Ms. Gao Meiling, 67, was arrested at home by officers from the Zhimaying Police Station on November 19, 2016. She was taken to the Nanjing City Detention Center.

17. [Fuyu City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Shangcheng, Ms. Cui Yunru, Ms. Liu Qin and Mr. Wu Baochen were arrested on November 17, 2016.

Ms. Liu was released immediately. Mr. Wang was detained for five days. Ms. Cui and Ms. Wu are still in detention.

18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhou Dexian Arrested

Mr. Zhou Dexian was arrested by officers from the Bayi Road Police Station on November 22, 2016.

19. [Pingyuan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Ren Shanxi Detained

Ms. Ren Shanxi was arrested by officers from the Fangzi Township Police Station on the morning of November 18, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. She was taken to a detention center.

20. [Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Taken to Nanchang Prison

Ms. Huang Chunhua, Ms. Huang Wei, and Ms. Yang Shiqian were taken to Nanchang Prison on November 10, 2016.

Ms. Huang Chunhua was given a two-and-a-half-year prison term.

Ms. Huang Wei and Ms. Yang were each given a one-and-a-half-year prison term on August 5, 2016.

21. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Feng Youfu Given a Three-Year Prison Term

Mr. Feng Youfu from Dongjie Village, Guilin Town, was arrested on the morning of April 6, 2016.

He was secretly tried and sentenced to three years in prison on October 19, 2016, and has been held in the Linzhou City Detention Center.

22. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fan Baozhen and Ms. Chen Shouzhi Detained

Ms. Fan Baozhen was arrested and taken to the Huanggang City No. 2 Detention Center on the morning of November 15, 2016.

Officers from the Huanggang City Domestic Security Division ransacked her home and confiscated all of her Falun Gong informational materials and 30,000 yuan in paper currency, with Falun Gong information printed on them.

Ms. Chen Shouzhi was arrested by Du Jian, head of the Huanggang City Domestic Security Division and Weng Weiguo on November 15, 2016. She was taken to the Huanggang City No. 2 Detention Center.

23. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zang Lian Detained

Ms. Zang Lian was arrested at the Zhongshan District Court by officers from the Kunming Street Police Station on November 16, 2016. She was taken to the Dalian Detention Center.

24. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Cao Zhiyong Detained

Mr. Cao Zhiyong was arrested by the Shuangta District Criminal Police around November 18, 2016. He was taken to the Kazuo County Detention Center.

25. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chen Liyun Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Chen Liyun, an employee of the No. 3 Oil Production Plant of the Daqing Oilfield was arrested at work on the morning of November 15, 2016. She was taken to the 721 Brainwashing Center.

26. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Yujiang Detained

Mr. Zhang Yujiang was arrested at home by Sun Baochun and other officers from the Chaoyang Township Police Station on November 16, 2016. They confiscated his Falun Gong books and five cell phones.

He was held in the Zhaozhou County Detention Center for 15 days.

Mr. Zhang is from Songjuntun Village, Chaoyang Township, Zhaozhou County.

Ms. Yang Rong was arrested at the Zhengzhou Train Station by officers from the Shibahe Police Station when buying a ticket on October 12, 2016. She was taken to the Baoji City No.2 Detention Center.

Her mother was arrested when she delivered a letter to Han Baoxiang, head of the Domestic Security Division, on the morning of November 22, 2016. Her whereabouts is unknown.
