(Minghui.org) “If we do not support you today, we will regret it tomorrow.” This was posted online by a resident of Taiwan, upon learning of the arrest of three members of the Concentric Patriotism Association near Taipei 101, one of the most visited tourist sites in Taipei.
The Concentric Patriotism Association is a Taiwanese political group that has violently attacked peaceful Falun Gong practitioners and intimidated passersby several times near Taipei 101.
One of the association members arrested was Zhang Xiuye. Waving the flag of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and yelling through a loudspeaker, Zhang once boasted, “I'm a thug sent by the Party. So what?!”
Taiwan residents saw the association members' lawless behavior as a reflection of the communist regime in China. When the members were arrested, people responded with a flood of comments supporting the arrest. “This is justice,” one poster commented.
Taiwanese netizens applauded the light of justice with the arrest of the “thugs sent by the CCP.” How long will it take until the light of justice shines on mainland China, just across a narrow strait from Taiwan?
Persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China have heard rhetoric similar to Zhang's from the police and courts:
“This is the Party. I am the law!”
“I violated the law, so what?! Where can you sue me?”
“The policy from above said I can beat you to death and take no responsibility. As long as the Party is ruling the country, I will be fine.”
These words spoken by policemen, prosecutors, and judges show that they are fully aware that their actions are violating the law. But they are still fooling themselves by thinking they won't be caught because the big mafia boss can protect them.
As of now, Zhang Xiuye and other thugs have been arrested in Taiwan. Zhou Yongkang, one of the leaders of the persecution of Falun Gong and a former member of the Party's Politburo Standing Committee, has also been arrested. His protégés were also arrested, including Li Dongsheng, Bo Xilai, Xu Caihou, Guo Boxiong, and many others.
For those policemen, prosecutors, and judges who are still assisting the Party in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, I want to remind you that one day you will be held responsible for your actions. The days remaining for the perpetrators are numbered.
Law-biding people around the world believe that “good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evil deeds will meet with retribution.” This goes beyond what the CCP can control.
For the policemen, prosecutors, and judges, I hope you will truly be responsible for your own lives and not be manipulated by the Party.
You can do the right thing by telling the “610 Office” that “I am the judge of this court. If you want to persecute these people, sign your own name on the paper. Don't make me carry the bad name for you.”
If you don't have the courage to confront the communist regime, you can still do the right thing by being uncooperative, secretly protecting Falun Gong practitioners, and quitting the Communist Party organizations, even with a pseudonym.
Breaking away from the Party brings about peace and safety when disaster arrives. If one does not quit the Party today, one may regret it tomorrow.
