(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Huailai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuhong's Home Ransacked

Officers from the Xiaonanxinbao Police Station ransacked Ms. Zhang Xiuhong's home on March 11, 2015, because couplets about Falun Gong were pasted on the front door. They confiscated a photo of Falun Gong's founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi; Falun Gong books; a laptop computer; and other items.

2. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Zhisheng Arrested

Mr. Xu Zhisheng was arrested on a train that was heading from Fuxin City to Shenyang City on March 12, 2015

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Yufen Imprisoned

Ms. Pang Yufen from the Huangdao District was sentenced to 3 years in prison. She was sent to the Shandong Women's Prison in February, 2015.

Ms. Pang was arrested by officers from the Wangtai Police Station last year on August 28 for talking about about Falun Gong in Wangtai Town, Jiaonan. She was held in the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo.

4. [Wangjiang County, Anhui Province] Mr. Zou Xianli Detained

Mr. Zou Xianli, 43, was taken to the Wangjiang Detention Center at the end of 2014.

5. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Qinghua, 86; Ms. Chen Meiying, in her 70s; Ms. Luo, in her 70s; Ms. Gu, in her 70s; Mr. Li Changrong, in his 60s; and Ms. Sun, in her 50s, were arrested by plainclothes officers on February 26, 2015, for watching Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. Ms. Zhao was released. The other 5 practitioners were taken to a brainwashing center.

6. [Tianjin] Ms. Fu Shaojuan Detained

Agents from the Dayingmen Police Station, the Donglaili Residential Committee, and the City 610 Office barged into Ms. Fu Shaojuan's home and arrested her on March 2, 2015. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, informational materials about Falun Gong, several thousand yuan in bills with messages about Falun Gong written on them, and more. Ms. Fu is being held in the Wushuidao Detention Center in Hexi District.

7. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhang Lanping Detained

Ms. Zhang Lanping was arrested by officers from the Hefei Railway Police Department on March 11, 2015, for talking about Falun Gong at Hefei South Train Station. Officers ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, two printers, Falun Gong books, and other items. Ms. Zhang is being held in the Hefei Detention Center.

8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Mi Xiuying Sentenced to Seven Years and Six Months

The Xuanhua Court authorities sentenced Ms. Mi Xiuying to 7 years and 6 months in prison on December 9, 2014. Ms. Mi appealed to the higher court. The Zhangjiakou Intermediate Court tried her again on February 9, 2015, and upheld the original sentence.

Ms. Mi was arrested by officers from the Tielunan Police Station on May 28, 2014, and is now in the Zhangjiakou Detention Center.

9. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Qixinghuayuan Police Station barged into Ms. Hu Yuzhong's home and arrested Ms. Hu, Ms. Xiaoyun, and Ms. Zhao Laosi on March 10, 2015. They seized Falun Gong books, a DVD player, and other items. The practitioners were taken to the Qixinghuayuan Police Station. Ms. Xiaoyun and Ms. Zhao were released. Ms. Hu is being held in a detention center.

10. [Beijing] Two Practitioners Arrested

Agents from the Shijingshan 610 Office and the Pingguoyuan Police Station barged into Mr. Zhang Yanbin and Ms. Yang Ying's home and arrested them on March 9, 2015. They seized a photo of Falun Gong's founder Mr. Li Hongzhi. Ms. Yang was released that evening and her residence is now under surveillance. Mr. Zhang is being held in the Wulituo Brainwashing Center.

11. [Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Lanying Detained

Ms. Zhao Lanying was arrested by officers from the local police station on March 12, 2015, for talking about Falun Gong. She is being held in the Chongzhou Detention Center.

12. [Shanghai] Mr. Bao Shuping Detained

Mr. Bao Shuping from Nanbu County in Sichuan Province was arrested by officers from the Jinshan Police Department Domestic Security Division on March 10, 2015, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in the Jinshan District, Shanghai. He is being held in the Jinshan Detention Center.

13. [Dong'a County, Shandong Province] Ms. Cheng Sentenced to Four Years

Ms. Cheng from Wei County, Hebei Province, was arrested in Dong'a County in Shandong Province in the spring of 2014 for installing a satellite dish capable of receiving NTDTV overseas programs. She was held in the Guguantun Detention Center in Dong'a County. She was recently sentenced to 4 years in prison and is being held in Shandong Prison.

14. [Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Li Nan Arrested

Ms. Li Nan was recently arrested. Her whereabouts are unknown.

15. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Qingfu and Mr. Huang Shisheng Arrested

Mr. Liu Qingfu and Mr. Huang Shisheng were arrested by officers from the Jiangbin Farm Police Department on March 9, 2015, for posting messages about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Jiangbin Police Department. Mr. Huang was released. Mr. Liu is being held in the Baoquanling Detention Center.

16. [Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Hua and Ms. Ma Yonglan Sentenced

Ms. Wang Hua was sentenced to 3 years and 3 months. Ms. Ma Yonglan was sentenced to 3 years. They were taken to the Longquanyi Women's Prison on March 11, 2015.

17. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Jinping Arrested

Mr. Wang Jinping was arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on March 9, 2015.

18. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yuan Yulong Has a Stroke in Prison

Mr. Yuan Yulong, who is being held in Jiamusi Prison, was tortured and had stroke. Prison authorities are refusing to release him.
