(Minghui.org) When I told people about Falun Dafa and the Chinese communist regime's persecution of the practice, many expressed kind words about Dafa. Their stance is especially meaningful as hundreds of thousands of practitioners in China are being tortured in detention centers, prisons, and brainwashing centers for refusing to give up their belief.

“You Should Listen to Falun Dafa Practitioners”
As I was getting my shoes repaired, I asked the shoemaker if he knew about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He said, “I have quit.” Then he pointed to another man, “Help him. He is a veteran CCP member and hasn't renounced his membership yet.”
I asked the man, “Are you a CCP member?” “Yes, I am,” he replied.
I said, “Do you know how many CCP members are corrupt? Everyone wants to get more money; no one really helps the people.” The man nodded.
I further told him that the situation wouldn't change with a change in CCP leadership. The nature of the CCP has determined that no CCP member can really solve the issue from inside the organization.
He decided to quit the CCP and had a question, “Who gives you the money to print all your informational materials?” I smiled, “We paid for them out of pocket. It's our money. For example, I have practiced Falun Dafa for 16 years, during which I didn't have to pay for any medical bills because the practice gave me such good health. So we have saved money over the years.”
The man nodded and said, “I see.”
I approached another person. He yelled at me, “Communism will never be realized with you Falun Dafa practitioners!” I said, “Communist leaders have moved people's money into their own pockets.” He stared at me, “I don't want to listen. Don't talk to me!”
A customer of the shoemaker said to him, “You should listen to others. Listen to Falun Dafa practitioners.”
The man continued yelling, “Do you dare to say the same thing at the CCP agencies? Come, let's go there!” He grabbed my hand. I took his hands and said, “Let's take a taxi.” He hesitated and eventually let go of my hand, “I don't want to go anymore.” Bystanders laughed.
“No One at My Workplace Joins the Party”
I once saw a young man standing on the side of the street. I learned that he was a sailor and had come back home during the break.
I asked him if he knew about the persecution of Falun Dafa and quitting the CCP. He said, “We all know about that; we often travel overseas. CCP members are arrested as spies outside of China. No one at my workplace joins the Party now.”
“Give Them the Anti-Firewall Software Too”
I introduced the anti-firewall software to a high school student once. I told him to search online for information about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
Several days later, I came across him again. He was with two classmates this time. He told me, “Auntie, I was shocked after being able to surf the Internet without censorship. Please give them [classmates] the same software.”
All three quit the communist Youth League.
“Please Stay Safe”
I passed a school once. It was the end of the school day; many parents were picking up their children. I stopped at a luxury car and asked if the driver had heard about quitting the CCP.
He asked, “Who are you? A Falun Dafa practitioner?”
Upon confirmation, he said, “Do you know what I do?”
“Even if you are a policeman, I need to tell you this important information,” I responded.
It turned out that he was really a policeman.
I explained to him the traditional concept of karmic retribution, a belief that “what goes around comes around.” I told him that the CCP would be held accountable for its crimes, especially the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. CCP members will have to bear its cross if they don't sever their ties.
He took the anti-firewall software and said, “Thank you. Please stay safe!”
These are only a few examples of what I encounter daily in China. I value people's kindness, especially in the environment of the brutal persecution.
