Additional Persecution News from China – October 26, 2015 (25 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 22 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 39 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Dong Hanjie Persecuted to Death in Jidong Prison

Yang Yugang, from the Zhuozhou City Domestic Security Division, led officers from the Beijing State Security Division and arrested Mr. Dong Hanjie on February 15, 2014.

Mr. Dong was sentenced to five years in prison by the Zhuozhou City Court on February 11, 2015. He was held in the Zhuozhou Detention Center.

Mr. Dong was taken to the Jidong Prison on August 16, 2015. He was persecuted to death in the prison on October 10, 2015.

2. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Feng Guoyun and Mr. Liu Chengshan Sentenced to Prison

The Tianqiao District Court, on October 14, 2015, sentenced Ms. Feng Guoyun to four years in prison, and Mr. Liu Chengshang to three and a half years.

3. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Xiao Li and Ms. Xiao Yang, Dongchangfu District, were arrested on the afternoon of October 22, 2015. Xiao Li was detained for five days, and Xiao Yang for 15 days.

4. [Nong'an County, jilin Province] Mr. Wei Guobin Arrested

Mr. Wei Guobin, Mahuadian Village, Bajilei Town, was arrested at his home by the police on October 23, 2015.

5. [Kuandian County, Liaoing Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Kang Li and Ms. Bai, Jiapigou Township, were arrested at home by officers from the Kuandian County Domestic Security Division on October 22, 2015. Ms. Kang Yan was arrested on October 23, 2015. She is held in the Dandong Detention Center.

6. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Tao Taken to Brainwashing Center

Officers from the Nancheng Police Station arrested Mr. Li Tao on October 21, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Mr. Li was taken to a brainwashing center.

7. [Taikang County, Henan Province] Mr. Gao Haiyang Detained

Officers from the Gaolang Township Police Station arrested Mr. Gao Haiyang on October 22, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. He was to be held in the Taikang County Detention Center for 15 days.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Ran Yuexia Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Ran Yuexia was taken to the Beidadi Brainwashing Center in the Fengtai District.

9. [Taonan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lan Wei and Ms. Lu Yanling Detained

Ms. Lan Wei and Ms. Lu Yanling were arrested by the Taonan police on October 10, 2015. Both practitioners are held in a detention center.

10. [Tongyu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yin Li Arrested

Ms. Yin Li was arrested on October 21, 2015. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer and a printer. She is held in Baicheng City.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Chengxiu Arrested

Ms. Sun Chengxiu was arrested on October 22, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

12. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Quansuo and His Wife Ms. Hu Yu'e Detained

Officers from the Changfeng Police Station in the Wanbailin District arrested Mr. Zhang Quansuo and his wife Ms. Hu Yu'e on the morning of October 15, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The couple were held in the Taiyuan Detention Center for 15 days.

13. [Chongqing] Five Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

Officers from the Yubei District Police Department's Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Zheng Xiaoqin in mid-October 2015 for suing former dictator Jiang Zemin. Ms. Zeng Huiqun, Ms. Jiang Xinmei, Ms. Wang and Ms. Liang were also arrested around the same time. The five practitioners were taken to the Changhe Brainwashing Center.

14. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xuan Yuhua and Daughter Ms. Meng Qingying Arrested

Ms. Xuan Yuhua and her daughter Ms. Meng Qingying were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin by officers from the Longgang Police Department in the Ranghulu District on October 22, 2015.

15. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Ma Jumei and Ms. Sun Li Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Ma Jumei, Changji City, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison, and Ms. Sun Li to three years. Both practitioners were taken to the Xinjiang Women's Prison in September 2015.

16. [Wucheng County, Shandong Province] Mr. Fang Dezeng and Ms. Sun Yanju Arrested

A large number of officers dispatched from the Wucheng County Police Department surrounded and arrested Mr. Fang Dezeng in Yanzhuang Village on October 22, 2015.

Ms. Sun Yanju, Tengzhuang Village, was also arrested the same day. Her whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Shi Dengfeng, head of the Linjiang City Domestic Security Division, and other officers arrested Mr. Yun Zhonggang, Mr. Sun Yongchun, and Ms. Wang Linlan on October 15, 2015. The three practitioners were held in the Baishan Detention Center for 15 days. They were later transferred to a brainwashing center. Mr. Yun has returned home for health reasons.

18. [Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Zhenghua and Ms. Zhang Naiping, Jiangdu District, were arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong by officers from the Jiangdu District 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division in early October 2015.

19. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Liying Arrested

Ms. Liang Liying was arrested by officers from the Didou Town Police Station on October 25, 2015 when she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Didou Town, Sihui City.

20. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Lanchun and Ms. Li Xia Arrested

Officers from the Chengguan Police Station in Miyun County arrested Ms. Liu Lanchun and Ms. Li Xia on the afternoon of October 23, 2015. Both practitioners have filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. Their homes were ransacked. Both practitioners have since been released.

21. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lu Fengxian Detained

Ms. Lu Fengxian, 59, Beilin District, was arrested by officers from the Suihua No. 1 Criminal Police Division on the morning of October 22, 2015. She is being held in the division.

22. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qiu Liying Detained

Ms. Qiu Liying was arrested at home by the police on October 22, 2015. She is held in the Harbin Detention Center.

23. [Kazuo County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Jingfen Detained

Ms. Xu Jingfen, Dachengzi Town, was arrested by officers from the Kazuo County Police Department at noon on October 22, 2015. The officers confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Dafa books. She is held in the Chaoyang Detention Center.

24. [Leiyang City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Li Fuying, Ms. Li Huimin, and Ms. Li Huizhen were arrested and taken to the Leiyang City Police Department by officers from the Donghu Police Station when they were telling people about Falun Gong in Donghuwei Township on October 23, 2015. Ms. Li Fuying was to be held for 10 days, and Ms. Li Huimin and Ms. Li Huizhen each for 15 days, in a detention center.

Ms. Li Huijun was arrested by officers from the Dongdi Police Station on October 22, 2015 after she talked to them about the persecution of Falun Gong. She returned home safely that day.

Ms. Song Baolian was arrested on the same day. She was taken to the police station for interrogation about her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. She was taken home after the officers forcibly took blood samples from her.
