(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zheng Shuyun Sentenced

Ms. Zheng Shuyun was arrested at home by officers from the Lianshan District Police Department and Police Station on July 17, 2014. She was sentenced to a three-year prison term in the Lianshan District Court on December 5, 2014.

2. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wu Xiulian's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Wu Xiulian was arrested and detained by officers from the Yongtai Police Station on the afternoon of January 7, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Beijing] Mr. Ma Zhanquan and Ms. Jia Xiuzhi Arrested

Mr. Ma Zhanquan and Ms. Jia Xiuzhi were arrested on the afternoon of January 7, 2015. Their whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Kexin and Others Arrested

Ms. Xu Kexin and other practitioners were arrested on January 7, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Guihua and Ms. Xu Suzhen Detained

Ms. Zhang Guihua and Ms. Xu Suzhen were arrested by officers from the Economic Development District Police Station on the morning of January 5, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked Ms. Xu's home that afternoon. Their families each had 1,600 yuan extorted from them. The practitioners were held at the Anqiu Detention Center for 15 days.

6. [Nancheng County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Luo Jianrong Detained

Ms. Luo Jianrong was arrested by officers from the Nancheng County Domestic Security Division on October 8, 2013. She was put on trial in the Linchuan Court on January 17, 2014, and sentenced to four years in prison in March 2014. She was then taken to the Jiangxi Province Women's Prison.

7. [Guang'an City, Sichuan Province] Two Arrested and Two Detained

Mr. Duan Changjin, Mr. Huang Changhui, Ms. Zhao Defen, and Ms. Zhang Qiongfang were arrested on January 5, 2015. Mr. Duan and Ms. Zhang were taken to a detention center. Mr. Huang and Ms. Zhao were released due to severe illness on the way to the detention center.

8. [Zhongning County, Ningxia Province] Mr. Wang Shenggui and His Family Members Arrested

Mr. Wang Shenggui and his wife, Ms. Hu Julian, from Zhongning County, Ningxia Province, were arrested in Xinjiang Province on January 3, 2015, while visiting their relatives. His son's home was ransacked.

Ms. Hu's sister, Ms. Hu Hong, was arrested in Delingha City on June 24, 2014. Her brother, Mr. Hu Jiancai, was on the most-wanted list.

9. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Li Detained

Ms. Zhang Li, in her 40s, was arrested on the evening of January 5, 2015. She is being held at the Linyi City Detention Center.

10. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Changsheng Sentenced

Mr. Sun Changsheng was sentenced to a 1.5-year prison term in the Chuanying District Court on August 15, 2014. He was taken to Jiangcheng Prison in Jilin City.

He was arrested on October 18, 2013 and detained at the Jilin City Detention Center prior to the sentence.

11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Min Detained

Ms. Li Min, arrested in early January 2015, is being held at the Qingniwaqiao Police Station in Dalian City.
