(Minghui.org) I would like to share my experience of successfully rescuing a fellow practitioner.
A local fellow practitioner, Mr. Wang (alias) was unlawfully imprisoned for seven years and was released in August 2012. One month before his release, the head of the local 610 Office and the domestic security division police threatened Mr. Wang's wife and family, telling them not to go to prison to pick him up. Mrs. Wang (alias), also a practitioner, responded, “He's my husband. Of course, I'll take care of him.”
The day Mr. Wang was scheduled to be released, Mrs. Wang and several relatives drove to the prison early that morning. When they got there, the 610 Office staff and police from the domestic security division were already waiting at the prison gate. Mr. Wang's family members were not allowed to enter the prison, but the police and 610 Office staff were allowed to drive through the prison gate and they took Mr. Wang away.
Mr. Wang's family had no chance to talk to him. They tried to follow the 610 Office car as it drove back to the local city, but they lost it.
Local practitioners kept sending righteous thoughts that day for Mr. Wang and were disheartened when they heard what happened.
The local coordinators immediately gathered together to discuss what to do next. Some practitioners with social connections were assigned to find out where Mr. Wang was held. Other practitioners continued to send forth righteous thoughts. The next afternoon, Mrs. Wang learned that Mr. Wang was detained in a guest house in the city and Mrs. Wang was allowed to see him the next day.
When Mrs. Wang went to visit Mr. Wang, several people were there. Mrs. Wang said a few words to encourage Mr. Wang, and reminded him about righteous thoughts and righteous actions, but didn't strongly request that Mr. Wang be released.
That night, several practitioners in charge of coordination drove to Mrs. Wang's home. She was suffering and under a lot of pressure. She started to complain that the other practitioners did not care what happened to her. The other practitioners told her that local practitioners were all concerned about her; one family's issue was everyone else's issue. Our work as a whole hadn't been done well since Mr. Wang wasn't released. We missed the first opportunity, but we shouldn't miss the next. We should not give the evil another opportunity. Mrs. Wang felt encouraged and strengthened her righteous thoughts.
Master taught us how to expose the evil to local people,
“Exposing the wicked policemen and bad persons and publicizing their evil deeds is extremely effective at shocking and restraining those irrational, wicked people. At the same time, by clarifying the facts to the people on a local level it most directly exposes, and generates public awareness of, the wicked persecution. It is also a great way to save the people who have been poisoned and deceived by the lies. I hope all Dafa disciples and new students in mainland China will do this well.” (“Comment on a Student’s Article” in Essentials for Further Advancement Vol. III )
Local practitioners decided to post up self-adhesive fliers to expose the 610 Office and the local police to prevent them from further persecuting Mr. Wang. It was already the fourth day after he was released from prison, but he was still being held. One practitioner immediately wrote an article that named the head of the 610 Office and the officers involved. Several practitioners discussed the article and finalized it.
Most of the fellow practitioners agreed. Some said that the article was well written and was powerful. A few practitioners thought that the article was too strongly worded and might incite retaliation. They suggested we submit the article to be published on the Minghui website first.
After listening to differing opinions, the practitioners in charge of coordination decided urgent action must be taken to expose the evil thugs as soon as possible. They wished to eliminate the evil, rescue our fellow practitioner and save people, so the fliers were made and distributed to different groups.
In just one night, fliers were seen everywhere, near the guest house, in many places around the city, and even in the nearby villages.
Later, we learned that our fliers received a lot of attention. Some people said, “An innocent person was imprisoned for seven years and then detained again by the Party's gang.” Other people said, “The police are doing evil by persecuting good people.” Some said, “The CCP was too horrible and even harvests organs from live people.” Many said, “The CCP will surely collapse soon.”
Fellow practitioners worked together as a whole for three days. Some sent righteous thoughts and some went out to put up fliers. One practitioner had symptoms of sickness karma, but still went out. When she came back, the fever was gone. Some practitioners focused on putting up fliers around the guest house, others concentrated on the police station and even managed to throw some fliers inside the police station.
Three days later, on the morning of the 7th day after Mr. Wang was locked up in the guest house, he was told, “You can go home now. We arranged a car to take you home.” Mr. Wang arrived home before 9 a.m. that day.
Working together as one body, fellow practitioners dissolved the brainwashing class and stopped their attempts to further persecute Mr. Wang.
Mr. Wang told us his experience in the guest house. The mayor, deputy mayor, and many heads of the county 610 Office took turns “talking” to him and each spent about an hour. They threatened to send him to a labor camp if he didn't cooperate with them. However, he kept sending righteous thoughts and clarified the truth to them. He didn't yield to the pressure.
We learned later, that the officer involved became frightened when he saw the fliers near the guest house. He sent his relative to drive around and remove the fliers. People rebuked him, saying, “Good is rewarded with good and evil meets evil.” What was he afraid of, unless he had done bad things?
Afterward, we did the same things to eliminate other persecution attempts. A leader in a government branch, pressured by the 610 Office, tried to help the 610 office to persecute a practitioner in the same work unit. Someone reported a practitioner to the police. After a home search, the police tried to further persecute the practitioner.
We tried the same thing to rescue another practitioner, but we failed. It may be related to the practitioner himself. After being arrested, the practitioner said that he would, “sit in the cell until a hole was made in the floor,” which acknowledged the persecution. Therefore, our fellow practitioners must have a clear mind and keep righteous thoughts. We must refuse to acknowledge the old forces' arrangements and the evil persecution.
