Additional Persecution News from China – November 7, 2014 (14 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 17 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Shao Xiaoshan and Mr. Shao Ruiliang Detained

Mr. Shao Xiaoshan and Mr. Shao Ruiliang were reported and subsequently arrested on October 21, 2014, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked and they are being held in the Lanxi Detention Center.

2. [Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Xiong Dongying Detained

Mr. Xiong Dongying was arrested by officers from the Xiushui Domestic Security Division on October 25, 2014. He is being held in the Xiushui Detention Center.

3. [Ningxiang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Xu Feipeng and Ms. Fang Aiqun Arrested

Ms. Xu Feipeng, 66, from Hejiawan was arrested on October 30, 2014, by officers from the Meitanba Police Station for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Ningxiang Detention Center.

4. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Pi Dianfen Detained

Ms. Pi Danfen, retired from No. 6 Factory, was arrested on November 4, 2014. Her laptop computer, printer, and other items were confiscated. She is being held in a detention center.

5. [Chongqing] Ms. Lu Qing Detained

Ms. Lu Qing from the Hechuan District was arrested on November 5, 2014, and taken to the Heyang Police Station for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Guihua and Ms. Jiang Guizhi Detained

Ms. Li Guihua, 76, and Ms. Jiang Guizhi, 66, from Wuchang were arrested and taken to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center on October 31, 2014, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Donghu Resort.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Jiajun Arrested

Mr. Liu Jiajun is from Lushun. Three plainclothes officers tricked him into exiting his home and then arrested him on October 29, 2014.

8. [Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Jiang Ping Detained

Ms. Jiang Ping from Wuhan, Hubei Province, went to Xinjiang and was arrested by officers from the Yili Police Department Khorgas Branch on October 24, 2014. She is being held in the Huocheng Detention Center.

9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Guanghua's Home Ransacked

Ms. Zhou Guanghua from Aoping Town in Pengzhou was reported for distributing calendars with messages about Falun Gong written on them on November 4, 2014. Yang Shaoqi, Liu Guangfu, and another agent barged into Ms. Zhou's home two days later and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a Falun Gong exercise instruction video, and a photo of the founder of Falun Gong.

10. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Rong Gang Arrested

Mr. Rong Gang was arrested by agents from the Gaomi Court. His whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Fang Shiying, Ms. Chen Shanglan, and Ms. He Yuhua were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were arrested by officers from the local Domestic Security Division and taken to the Dongcheng Police Station on November 3, 2014. Ms. He was released in the evening. Ms. Fang and Ms. Chen were transferred to the No.2 Detention Center.

12. [Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Shizhen Arrested

Ms. Zhou Shizhen was arrested for explaining the facts about Falun Gong on November 4, 2014. She was taken to the Chongzhou Detention Center.

13. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Mr. Jin Jixin and His Wife Detained

Mr. Jin Jixin and his wife Ms. Kong Weiqin were arrested in Dashifo Village, Yuanyang County, by agents from the Xinxiang State Security Bureau 610 Office on November 3, 2014. Mr. Jin is being held in the Yuanyang Detention Center and Ms. Kong in Xinxiang Detention Center.

14. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Yang Guizhen, Ms. Li Shuling, and Ms. Hao Shuping from the Fengrun District were arrested by officers from the Dangyu Police Station for talking to others about Falun Gong in Dangyu Market in Zunhua on October 28, 2014. They are being held in the Zunhua Detention Center.

When Ms. Yang and Ms. Li refused to have their photos taken, detention center director Wang Aiqing assaulted them. Their families had 3,805 yuan extorted from them within five days.
