(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in twelve cities or counties in six provinces. In this report, ten practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least fifteen practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Gangu County, Gansu Province] Ms. Mao Xiulan Imprisoned at Gansu Provincial Women's Prison
Ms. Mao Xiulan was sentenced to a 12-year prison term and was taken to Gansu Provincial Women's Prison. In mid-October, Ms. Mao was tortured and in critical condition. She was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. The persecution is very severe right now.
2. [Gangu, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhang Caiqin and Ms. Zhang Xiaoming Arrested
On February 15, 2011, police officers from Gangu County Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Zhang Caiqin and Ms. Zhang Xiaoming after they talked with people about Falun Gong in the village of Nanshanpian in Gangu County.
The police broke into Ms. Zhang Caiqin's home, confiscating her TV and VCD player, and closed her tailor shop.
Since July 20, 1999, Ms. Zhang Caiqin has been arrested, detained and taken to a forced labor camp four times.
3. [Zhaodong, Heilongjiang Province] Hulan Prison Persecutes Mr. Gu Yunpeng
Over a year ago, Mr. Gu Yunpeng from Zhaodong was sentenced to a five-year term and is currently in Hulan Prison. On February 9, 2011, Huang Baidong, a police officer, handcuffed him with shackles because he asked the officer to return his card for purchasing items. Mr. Gu was placed in a solitary cell and attached to a ring fixed to the ground. At mealtime, Mr. Gu was given only a small bun and some pickles without any warm water, porridge, or soup.

4. [Nong'an, Jilin Province] Ms. Ding Arrested
On January 24, 2011, Ms. Ding, an elderly practitioner, was arrested after she distributed truth clarification CDs in Changchun. She is now Weizigou Detention Center.
5. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Liansheng Imprisoned at Mudanjiang Prison
Mudianjiang Railroad Transportation Court sentenced Mr. Zhang Liansheng, who worked in the Mudianjiang Railroad system, to a five-year term. On February 17, 2011, he was taken to Mudanjiang Prison.
6. [Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Peixian Persecuted in Harbin Women's Prison
Ms. Li Peixian is a practitioner in her 50s from Qiqihar City. On October 2010, police took her and her daughter to Harbin Women's Prison. Ms. Li and her daughter were imprisoned by the Training Team.
In mid-October, Ms. Li went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. They force-fed her. In November, she was taken to the prison hospital.
7. [Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Xueqin and Mr. Lin Chunzi Arrested
On February 18, 2011, Railroad Police Section Officers arrested Ms. Liu Xueqin and Mr. Lin Chunzi after they posted truth clarification materials near a train station.

8. [Binzhou, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiao Sha Detained at Binzhou Detention Center
On February 12, 2011, Ms. Xiao Sha distributed truth clarification materials. She was reported to the police, arrested, and detained in Binzhou Detention Center.
9. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yulian Arrested
Ms. Liu Yulian is from Shajiazhuang in the Moping District of Yantai. On the afternoon of February 18, 2011, police officers arrested her after she talked with people about Falun Gong.

10. [Laiyang, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners from Jiudian Village Arrested
On the evening of February 18, 2011, Ms. Yu Xiuguo; Ms. Zhang Yunqin and her son, Yu Long; Ms. Tan Bingling; Ms. Quan Ruiqing; and Ms. Zuo Guiying, all practitioners from Jiudian Village of Fenggezhuang Town, were studying Falun Gong books. Sun Jirao, a villager, reported them to the police. Officers from Fenggezhuang Town Police Station arrested all the practitioners. On February 19, at 1 a.m., Mr. Yu Long returned home. All the other practitioners were detained in Fenggezhuang Police Station.

11. [Wei County, Hebei Province] The Persecution of Ms. Zhang Lanqiu and Ms. Shi Junrong
On November 19, 2010, a court sentenced Ms. Zhang Lanqiu to a four-year term and Ms. Shi Junrong to a three-year term. They were taken to Shijiazhuang Women's Prison. Ms. Zhang is in the 9th area and Ms. Shi is in the 2nd area.

On July 12, 2010, Shibali Police Station Officers in Weishi County arrested Ms. Zhang Guiying and Ms. Lu Yuemin. Both practitioners have been held in Weishi County Detention Center for more than seven months.

13. [Wuxi, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Wang Liwei and Ms. Wang Xufang Arrested
On March 2009, Mr. Wang Liwei, 38, and Ms. Wang Xufang, 42, from the Xishang District were arrested. Their whereabouts are unknown. Currently, Zhang Meiju, 66, another practitioner who was arrested with them, is in Wuxi City 2nd Detention Center.

14. [Hefei, Anhui Province] Mr. Zhang Xinhong Sentenced to Four and a Half Years
Mr. Zhang Xinhong was sentenced to an eight-year term at the beginning of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. On May 2010, Sanli'an Police Station Officers in the Shushan District of Hefei City ransacked his home and detained him in the center.
Recently, Mr. Zhang was secretly sentenced to a four-and-a-half-year term and taken to Suzhou Prison in Anhui Province.
15. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Mr. Guo Yongsong Detained in Yantai 2nd Detention Center
On February 23, 2011, Fulai Police Station officers in the Development District of Yantai arrested Mr. Guo Yongsong and his sister. They were reported to the police after talking with people about Falun Gong. Mr. Guo's sister returned home 24 hours later. Mr. Guo is detained in the Yantai 2nd Detention Center. The police ransacked his home and confiscated his Falun Gong books.
