(Clearwisdom.net) On May 4, 2010, Ms. Liang Xiulan, a practitioner from Qian'an City, Hebei Province, was taken to the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison.
An attorney who had seen her in the detention center said, "Although I am not related to her, I couldn't bear to look at her because she had been tortured in the detention center. She looked so pitiful."

During the past year, police officers from the Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Liang Xiulan three times. She was brutal tortured and near death.
When she was arrested in May 2008, several police officers, including Pu Yonglai and Ha Fulong, used several electric batons to shock her breasts and vagina.
Around April 1, 2009, Ms. Liang was arrested again and detained in the Qian'an City Detention Center. Shortly after, she was taken to a brainwashing center.
On September 11, 2009, she was arrested again by officers from the Qian'an City Domestic Security Division.
On December 3, 2009, police and officials from the procuratorateand the court agreed to sentence Ms. Liang to an eight-year prison term.
