(Clearwisdom.net) On May 5, Ms. Li, Junying, a medical doctor from Wei County, Handan City, Hebei Province, was reported to the police while she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. She was illegally arrested and her home was ransacked. On the same night at around midnight, Ms. Li's mother, Ms. Wang Xiumei, was also arrested and her home ransacked without cause. Both mother and daughter are now detained at the Wei County Police Bureau.

Ms. Wang, in her 60s, is a very good person. Before she practiced Falun Gong she had different illnesses, which all disappeared.

After the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999, Ms. Wang used her own experience as an example to tell people about the miracle of Falun Gong and the benevolence of her Master and that Falun Gong was being slandered. She was arrested by the Wei County Police Bureau and sentenced to a four-year prison term.

Ms. Li, 41, is a resident of Mayu Village, Yuanbao District, Wei County. She is a medical doctor. When Falun Gong saved her mother, Ms. Li witnessed the miracle and also started to practice. After the persecution started, she was once detained for three days. Her husband and parents-in-law believed the lies and negative propaganda about Falun Gong and were against her practicing, using divorce as a threat. Despite this pressure, Ms. Li never gave up cultivation. She always did her best to take care of the family and remained very diligent about doing what was right.
