(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in eight provinces. In this report, six practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested.

At around 10:00 a.m. on November 15, 2010, officers, with Wang Xingyun in charge, all from the Qing'an County Domestic Security Division, arrested Ms. Sun Leijun, Ms. Liang Guifen, 74, Ms. He Jingzhi and Ms. Zhang Yanjun. At around 6:00 p.m., Wang Xingyun extorted 2,000 and 3,000 yuan from Ms. He Jingzhi and Ms. Zhang Yanjun's families respectively, before releasing both. Ms. Sun Leijun and Ms. Liang Guifen are detained at an unknown detention center. Ms. Sun is a taxi driver and her taxi was confiscated by the Qing'an County Police Bureau.

6. [Wuxi, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Qiang Lili Arrested
Police officers from the 610 Office of Wuxi, Huishan District and Yangshan Town arrested Ms. Qiang Lili at 7:30 a.m. on November 17, 2010.
In 2001, Ms. Qiang had been imprisoned at a forced labor camp for one and half years. In 2005, she was sentenced to a five year prison term.
7. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Sheng Jinling Arrested
Ms. Sheng Jinling is a nurse at Employee's Hospital of Shirengou Iron Mine, Tangshan Steel and Iron Co. On the evening of November 17, 2010, officers from Zunhua Domestic Security Division and Shirengou Police Station arrested Ms. Sheng on her way to work. The officers ransacked Ms. Sheng's home, and confiscated Falun Gong books and her computer. Ms. Sheng is detained at the Zunhua City Detention Center.

8. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Aihua Taken to Wangcun Second Women's Forced Labor Camp
Officers from the Weichang Domestic Security Division and plainclothes officers from the 610 Office arrested Ms. Zhang Aihua, from Weicheng District of Weifang City, on the morning of October 30, 2010. Ms. Zhang was detained at Weifang Detention Center. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor on November 9 and taken to Wangcun Second Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong.

10. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Mr. Du Changwen Imprisoned More Than One Year
Mr. Du Changwen worked for Changle Electronic Device Company. On April 1, 2009, officer Zhao Shisheng and others from the Domestic Security Division of the Changle County Police Bureau arrested Mr. Du. He was secretly sentenced to a three year term at Ji'nan Prison and has been imprisoned for more than a year.

11. [Ji'nan, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yujing Arrested
Ms. Liu Yujing from Xinglongzhuang, Shiliulihe Town was arrested by Shiliulihe police officers from the Town Police Station at around 6:00 p.m. on November 16, 2010. The police ransacked her home.

13. [Nanchang, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xiong Meiying and Mr. Liu Pinkun Arrested
On the morning of October 21, 2010, Ms. Xiong Meiying, 63, and her husband Mr. Liu Pinkun, 70, were distributing truth clarification materials at Xinfeng Farm in Shibuxiang, Xinjian County. Someone reported them to the police. Officers from the Shibuxiang Police Station arrested them and took them to Xinjian County Domestic Security Division.
