(Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began brutally suppressing Falun Gong, Fujian Province Women's Prison has been used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Over time, details about their cruelty have been exposed.
Around 2002, practitioners Ms. Chen Fangfang and Ms. Zhong Donglan (who was 29 at the time) were imprisoned in the Thirteenth Team of Fujian Province Women's Prison. They were handcuffed to the metal bars on the windows in a "cross" position by leader Hong Yun and guard Chen Ping, just because they said that Falun Dafa is good. Their toes were barely touching the floor. Hong Yun and Chen Ping used electric batons to shock Ms. Chen and Ms. Zhong in the face, their lower extremities, and their armpits. They also directly inserted the electric batons into the practitioner's mouths to shock them, while yelling: "Let's see whether you still dare to say Falun Dafa is good!" They tortured Ms. Chen and Ms. Zhong from morning until night and didn't stop there. The women's faces were seriously burned and very swollen, their mouths swelled and eventually festered, and the pain from the burns to their armpits and lower bodies was hard to endure.
Fujian Province Women's Prison has enslaved Falun Gong practitioners for a long time. Whenever the jail received a rush order for products (from which the jail made huge profits), the guards forced the practitioners and other inmates to get up at 3:00 a.m. every day, and didn't allow them to take a break at noon. The practitioners were only given twenty minutes to eat their meals. Even after 10:00 p.m., the practitioners were still working, and sometimes they even worked until dawn. Even when they returned to their cells in the evening, they still were not allowed to sleep. Instead, they had to finish one part of the process of hand-making shoes. Each practitioner had to finish two pairs of shoes before being allowed to rest. After the practitioners washed up and went to sleep, it would be 1:00 a.m. However, they still had to get up at 3:00 a.m. to start all over again.
When the weekend or a holiday arrived, the guards had all kinds of excuses for forcing the practitioners to work in the shop. Each person had a very heavy and fixed quantity of work she had to complete every day. If any woman didn't fulfill her quota, she would not be allowed to take a shower for an entire week. Therefore, the person smelled very bad. When inmates were unable to endure such workloads, the guards often shocked them with an electric baton.
The jail strictly monitored those practitioners who insisted on maintaining their belief in Falun Dafa. The practitioners were each monitored by several criminal inmates. The inmates didn't allow the practitioners to use the bathroom or to take showers, not even on very hot days. Practitioner Ms. Li Qingqing was hung from a window by her handcuffed wrists for over ten days because she persisted in practicing Falun Dafa. The guards incited the other inmates to punch and kick her. Several inmates beat her when she was in a restroom and repeatedly kicked the sensitive parts of her body. While the inmates were committing the crime, the guards stood in the corridor and pretended not to see what was happening.
What is exposed above is only the tip of the iceberg. The guards at Fujian Province Women's Prison who have broken the law by persecuting Falun Gong practitioners will eventually be tried in the judicial system.
