(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner from a village in northeastern China. I have a relative who is an official in the government of my town, and in February 2007, I went to his home to urge him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. At the time he was seriously ill. His wife told me privately "He just returned from the hospital. Doctors say that he may survive only a few more days with injections and medicines. He is now just waiting to die."
Upon hearing this, I started to clarify the truth to them about Falun Gong. I told them that the CCP is about to be eliminated by heaven because it has done so many bad things, and I urged them to quit the CCP. The couple agreed with me completely. "Yes, we will quit. I would choose to be an innocent ghost even if I die. I will never follow the CCP." After that, I told him many stories about Falun Gong. He asked me "Can I learn Falun Gong from you? I knew that it was good a long time ago. I read the book Zhuan Falun as early as 1999." Then he told me his story about his protecting and reading Dafa books several years ago.
Since July 20, 1999, the CCP has cruelly persecuted Falun Gong. At that time, my relative was assigned the task of confiscating and burning Dafa books, but he did not follow the orders of the CCP. Instead, he read through all the confiscated Falun Gong books with great care, especially Zhuan Falun, which he read twice. After reading the books, he thought "Falun Gong teaches people to be good people. Why does the government prohibit it? I really can not understand this." Then he privately kept all the confiscated Falun Gong books.
After several days of practicing Falun Gong, his illnesses disappeared one by one. The dropsy in his belly diminished, the pains in his liver and gallbladder disappeared, and his face was glowing with health. He now looks ten years younger than his real age.
As a man who was about to die of illnesses, he obtained Dafa and his life was finally saved, due to his kindness when Dafa was being persecuted. I hope that all the people who still do not understand the truth about Dafa will not be deceived by the CCP, and will listen to Falun Gong practitioners and treat them well, so as to secure a good future for themselves.
