(Clearwisdom.net) Recently one morning, I heard a persistent knocking at my door. I motioned to my family to not answer the door (several practitioners had been arrested recently at their homes or at work by government officials). Moments later, the phone rang and my child answered it. The call was from the police station to see if I was home. The authorities identified certain groups of people who were not allowed to leave their homes prior to the Olympics. If we wanted to leave our homes for any reason, we were first required to report to the police station. I looked at the calendar on my desk - it was "April Fools Day."

Nothing happens by coincidence. Negative forces took advantage of some loopholes and subsequently brought about this interference. "One gets into trouble because one's own values and mind are not correct or righteous." I looked inward and identified my shortcomings - my strong competitive mentality, hatefulness and unharmonious nature have prevented some people who attempted to approach me to hear the truth. Before I began cultivation practice, I never gave in to anyone in an argument. I had to win any confrontation and always needed to hold the upper hand. These attachments were all well-exposed. I did not possess tolerance nor benevolence, and forgot my prehistoric vows. How could I face Teacher, who saved me and assumed my karma. With tears in my eyes I said, "Teacher, I was wrong."

The next morning before I left home, I sat with my legs crossed and hands conjoined. I pleaded for Teacher to enhance my energy potency, purge the old forces, evil elements and the evil spirit of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hidden behind the police station and policemen, and to strengthen my righteous thoughts. I left my home twenty minutes later, but once on the road, fear and nervousness attacked me. I quickly looked inward, since it was critical to elevate my xinxing. I easily identified this fear and nervousness originating from outside forces, which intended to interfere with me. I needed to clean out these old forces by utilizing the "ultimate sword" given to us by Teacher - the Fa-rectification formulas, which showed their boundless power immediately. After a short period of time, everything went back to normal, and the words, "The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities," appeared in my head. Indeed, I realized that anything that is unrighteous would be corrected under the influence of my energy field. When I entered the police station, I had the sense of "Dintian Duzun (Top Heaven and Sole Figure);" I was totally amazed. I was so expansive and tranquil. Compassion arose from my heart.

I approached the person involved with this interference, and clarified the truth with wisdom. I informed him in a serious tone that they should not interfere with my righteous cultivation practice. The policeman told me that he was just performing his duties in order to make a living and that he had no alternative. Finally, he said to me "I hope that you can cultivate well. We all know that 'Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance' are good." He sent me to the door with a smile, and I smiled in my heart. Teacher had prepared these events in order to help me to eliminate my attachments. "Remove your human thoughts and evil will naturally die out" ("Don't Be Sad" from Hong Yin II, translation version A).

Over the past years, I have benefited from the fertile soil of the Clearwisdom website. Today, I am returning the benefit to Clearwisdom with my cultivation sharing. I will focus on my Fa study and cultivation, and will share and compare experiences with fellow practitioners, so that I may stay on the right path through every critical step of the final journey.
