(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of February 23, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts on Tour finished their second show in London amid warm applause from the entire audience. People left the theater with satisfaction and excitement. Ms. Vivian Simpson, a psychiatrist from London, talked with a journalist about her impressions of the show.
Ms. Simpson felt that the whole performance had "marvelous visual effects. The choreography and dances were absolutely wonderful, and the costumes were unbelievably pretty... The especially wonderful thing was that the show combined so many elements, such as personal faith expressed through dancing and singing. The fundamental message was 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.' As a resident of England, it is wonderful that I can bring the message of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance home!
"The show includes many aspects [to create] a whole, including a spiritual aspect and a cultural aspect. The singers had a great effect, but the Chinese instrument Erhu was the most moving; it was just too beautiful. The reason I especially liked it was because I thought that the melody represented ancient China well. The Erhu piece inspired a spiritual element. The performer played very devotedly, and it brought about a beauty. As an Englishwoman, I was opened by her music in many ways." Ms. Simpson added, "All of these pieces were so wonderful from a psychiatric point of view."
