At 9:00 a.m. on August 28, 2007, Ms. Jia Yulian from Luquan City, Hebei Province was at work when the police from the Luquan City Gaoxin District Police Department illegally arrested her. The police used excessive violence during her arrest and also tried to send her to a forced labor camp. Currently, Ms. Jia is unable to get out bed or take care of her daily needs due to the persecution.
