(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Dafa practitioner from Guizhou Province. During the eight years of persecution at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I have been illegally arrested and detained many times. When I was in the Zhongba Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province, I was beaten to the point of being being severely injured and was black and blue all over my body. The perpetrators exploited my under-aged son to "transform" me. My son attempted suicide three times under such agony.
I have been illegally detained in the Dayingpo Police Station, Wudang District Police Station and Baihuashan Detention Center before and after 2000. When the police raided my home, they confiscated thousands of yuan, which belonged to my husband's workplace.
On August 27, 2001, while I was working, three policemen grabbed my hair, punched my back with their fists, and dragged me into a car. I was taken to the Zhongba Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province and sentenced to three years.
During the time in labor camp, I personally experienced and witnessed all the methods of torture the perpetrators used on Dafa practitioners. In April of 2003, the labor camp formulated an evil plan to systematically "transform" steadfast Dafa practitioners. There were several small rooms that were completely sealed and Dafa practitioners were sent to each individual room. Other than the guard and inmates who participated in torturing the Dafa practitioners, nobody was allowed near any of these rooms. People were not allowed to discuss anything they heard or witnessed in those rooms, as otherwise they would be punished and their sentence would be extended.
Dafa practitioners were forced into slave labor, had to memorize the prison regulations by heart, were forced to stand for long periods of time, and were sleep deprived for a long time. Also, the officers instigated the criminal inmates to beat and curse Dafa practitioners at will. In addition, Dafa practitioners were forced to write the so-called three statements. The perpetrators tortured Dafa practitioners mentally and physically until they wrote the so-called "three statements."
In May of 2003, I was forced into a small room next to the guards' office. There were eight inmates divided into two teams and they took turns torturing me. They forced me to stand at attention, kept beating me on my chest and kicking my private area, and dragged me around in circles. They also forced me to run back and forth; they forced me to lower my head and stare at a high spot without blinking my eyes; they used thick books to beat my head; deprived me of sleep and used needles to poke me; they emitted toxic fumes in the small room, almost choking me to death. When the perpetrators were tired, they took a rest and then began the next round. I was tortured for more than forty days. I was completely black and blue, my wounded flesh felt like it was decomposing and my legs felt like wood because they were swollen to the point that the skin was stretched and shiny and was seeping pus and fluid.
Another fellow practitioner was tortured for fifty days and they extended her sentence for five more months. The police instigated these inmates to use any means to "transform" Dafa practitioners. If they "transformed" practitioners, their sentences would be reduced; if they were empathetic toward Dafa practitioners, their sentences would be increased.
One fellow practitioner suffered a mental collapse after the torture; the perpetrator still tortured her on a daily basis. I often heard her crying and agonizing moaning.
The perpetrators also tortured us mentally. They exploited my under-aged son by forcing him to persuade me to "transform". At the time, my son was still in high school and was unable to bear the pain, which lead him to attempt suicide three times. I was in severe mental agony. After the last unsuccessful suicide attempt, I told my son: "Life is precious, if you do not cherish your life, I cannot help you." I put down my attachment of sentimentality and the tribulation went away. He no longer attempts suicide.
When I was in a semi-coma after torture, the perpetrators forced me to sign my name on a statement they had written. After I regained consciousness three days later, I quickly declared that I do not acknowledge such "transformation."
