(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by the Jiang regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably face karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been persecuting Falun Gong now for eight years. During this period in Guan County, under the direction and manipulation of the local Political and Judiciary Committee, the 610 Office, with the assistance of the director of the police department, several government branches including police departments, procurators, courts, and state security divisions have all been involved in the persecution of Falun Gong to differing degrees. Tens of thousands of kind people have had their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" interfered with. The police officers raid the homes of practitioners and jump over their walls in the middle of the night to take them into custody. Officials then impose heavy fines, sentence the practitioners to forced labor, terminate their employment, and try to forcibly brainwash or "transform" them. According to incomplete statistics, over these past eight years, practitioners in Guan County have been fined or have had extorted from them several million yuan. Several hundred practitioners have also been illegally detained or sentenced to forced labor. However, it is a righteous heavenly principle that good is rewarded and evil is punished. The officials involved in the persecution have eventually suffered retribution.
1. Xu Changjin was the chief procurator in Guan County. When the persecution began on July 20, 1999, he participated actively. Four practitioners were sentenced to forced labor camps as a direct result of his actions. In 2004, his only son, who was a bailiff, developed intestinal cancer and spent more than 300,000 yuan on surgery. Several months after the surgery, his son died. Only in his thirties, he developed necrosis of the thigh bone.
2. Xu Zhengshi was the deputy chief procurator in charge of the prosecution section when the four practitioners were sentenced. In 2004, when he was taking a walk after dinner, he was knocked down by a car and sustained many fractures. Later he had a stroke.
3. Zhang Haiqing was secretary to Liu Mingxing (male), who was the former county magistrate and died in 2006. He followed Liu Mingxing closely to persecute Falun Gong. Afterwards, he was promoted to the deputy secretary of Jia Town's Party organization and then became secretary of Donggucheng Town's CCP. On April 1, 2007, he seized Ms. Xu Zengxia, Ms. Xu Xueji, and Ms. Wang Fengzhi, practitioners from Xuliu Village, Guancheng Town, and from Yigu Village, which are under his jurisdiction. The three practitioners were all sentenced to forced labor for over one year terms. Zhang Haiqing rewarded Chen Baozhu (male), who spied on the practitioners and reported them to the police, by paying him 6,000 yuan. Zhang developed hypertension and diabetes in his mid-thirties.
4. Liang Fazhong was an officer with the Criminal Police Division in the Guan County Police Department. After July 20, 1999, he actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong. One night in 2004, he was driving on the highway when he had a collision with a truck. He died instantly. He was in his forties.
5. Pan Xiuzhang was the deputy CCP secretary of Guan County and in charge of producing propaganda. In 2001, Kong Fanying, the deputy secretary of Guan County and the person in charge of the Political and Judiciary Committee, developed a mysterious fracture of the tibia for no apparent reason. He had to take sick leave, so Pan Xiuzhang took over his position to persecute Falun Gong. He actively carried out orders from the higher authorities. In 2004, he suffered a stroke. As a result, he was hospitalized in Jinan City for a long time. Just prior to this, he had been promoted to the chairman position of the County Political Consultative Committee. After he left the hospital, he continued his work. In July 2007, after he toured abroad, he developed severe edema and was diagnosed with a glomerulus malfunction in his kidney at the Provincial No. 1 Hospital in Jinan City. Expensive kidney dialysis is keeping him alive.
