Officials of a county 610 Office in Shandong Province received reports that three Falun Dafa practitioners were distributing truth-clarifying materials. The officials drove to the community where the practitioners live to take them away and search their homes. The local community officials and members of the local 610 Office explained that business was not going well, and the people worried about their careers and faced many uncertainties. If the county 610 Office officials insisted in doing this, they could break up families and separate people from their loved ones. Local officials refused to cooperate. Officials from the county 610 Office had to leave.
Non-Practitioner Inmate Shouts "Falun Dafa is Great" in Prison
Many Falun Dafa practitioners have been unlawfully held in a prison in Hebei Province. Their pure words and deeds have touched the lives of many inmates who are serving terms with criminal charges. After learning the truth, they all know "Falun Dafa is Great." Sometimes, when prison guards instigate them to persecute practitioners, they resist quietly. At most, they give lip service but refuse to carry out the persecution. Some even offer help to practitioners when prison guards are not around.
On one occasion, the guards ordered five or six inmates to curse Falun Dafa. None of the inmates obliged. Instead they said, "It's not good to curse." The guards had to give up since they knew it was not something they could do aboveboard.
One inmate, after learning the truth, shouted "Falun Dafa is Great" when four hundred people were present at a gathering. Another inmate pointed him out to the prison guards. The guards beat and shocked him with electric batons. The inmate refused to withdraw what he shouted, and the batons eventually ran out of charge.
