Practitioners Zhang Hongying, Zhang Jiashuang, and Lu Tao from Miyi County, Sichuan Province Sentenced to Prison for Handing Out Informational Materials about Falun Gong
(Clearwisdom.net) On Sunday, June 17, 2007, the Miyi County Court held a trial to prosecute practitioners Ms. Lu Tao, Ms. Zhang Hongying, and Ms. Zhang Jiashuang. The court didn't notify the families about the trial. When the families asked the presiding judge, Zhou Kaiqiong (female), "Why weren't we informed?" The judge answered, "We do not notify families. You can come if you know about it. And if you don't, so be it."
Henan Provincial No. 3 Forced Labor Camp Authorities Brutally Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners
(Clearwisdom.net) The Henan Provincial No. 3 Forced Labor Camp is the main base for the Chinese Communist Party to persecute male Falun Dafa practitioners detained in Henan Province. Since 2006, the Beijing Dispatch Office has illegally detained over 20 Falun Dafa practitioners in this labor camp. During the past eight years of the persecution, three Falun Dafa practitioners have died in this labor camp, and many others have been injured, disabled, or suffered a mental collapse from the inhuman treatment they received in this place.
Is This a Hospital or a Dungeon?
(Clearwisdom.net) The No. 5 People's Hospital in Jiujiang City is a mental hospital, formerly called the Jiujiang Mental Hospital. Practitioner Ms. Jiang Xiaoying was a head nurse at the hospital for more than 20 years. However, she was locked up in the No. 2 Section of the hospital, where she was injected with medication, given pills and had blood drawn, simply because of her belief in Falun Gong. She was deprived of her rights, could not see her relatives, talk to other people, spend her salary or voice her opinions. She was basically denied all the lawful rights of a human being.
