(Clearwisdom.net) On July 6, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners visited the local office of the Kuomintang (KMT, the Chinese Nationalist Party) in Kaohsiung, asking KMT officers to address the violent deportation of more than 500 Falun Gong practitioners from Hong Kong. KMT officers Mr. Hsu Fuming and Mr. Lai Fengwei condemned the Hong Kong government and said that they would ask the city council to condemn the Hong Kong government.

Falun Gong practitioners explained the details of the deportation in Hong Kong to the KMT officers. From June 24 to July 1, more than 500 Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan, Macau, the Philippines and Australia, who had legal travel documents, were denied entry into Hong Kong and were violently deported by the Hong Kong government. Three hundred other Taiwanese practitioners' visa applications were rejected. Mr. Hsu Fuming was shocked by the news and said that he would help.
Practitioners explained their purpose in going to Hong Kong. July 1, 2007 marked the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong returning to Chinese rule. Practitioners wanted to take this chance to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) practice of harvesting organs from living practitioners. The CCP is afraid of being exposed, so the Party gave the Hong Kong government the blacklist of practitioners and ordered the Hong Kong government to keep practitioners out of Hong Kong.
Mr. Hsu and Mr. Lai condemned the CCP. To protect the rights of Taiwanese citizens, they will ask the city council of Kaohsiung to pass a resolution condemning the CCP. Mr. Lai also signed a letter condemning the CCP.
