(Clearwisdom.net) I am a computer-testing engineer by profession, and very often I use my laptop to test equipment at work sites. My laptop is purely for my use and I never let it leave my side. I store a lot of Dafa materials in it as well. Being portable and easy to carry around, my laptop is my primary tool for clarifying the truth.
In 2002, when I was working in Beijing, several fellow engineers and I were living in a company hostel. Whenever I had time, I showed them the "Witness" videos I downloaded from the web. When they saw the scenes of the persecution, its brutality, and the truth of the staged Self-Immolation Incident, all of them were dumbstruck. They would not even look away from the screen for a moment because they were afraid they might miss something.
I was by their side sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all the evil factors behind them. Whenever they had questions, I answered them immediately, and the effect was really good. Almost every time they read the truth-clarification materials, they would be filled with anger and hatred towards Jiang Zemin's regime. A senior colleague surnamed Li told me afterwards, "The Chinese Communist Party is really bad! They only lie and harm the people. I have a friend who smashed a few TV sets!" I asked him why and he replied, "All the CCP does is cheat people using propaganda on the TV. This friend of mine got so mad after watching it that he would smash the TV whenever he couldn't stand it any longer. I've seen a lot of Falun Gong practitioners in Tianjin City where I'm from, and they're all very good people!" I gave him Master Li's lecture audio tapes, and he accepted them happily! I know that another person has been saved.
Once, my company hired some temporary staff. Two of them from northeastern China lived in our dormitory. I thought, "More people with predestined relationships are here; it must be Master who arranged for them to come to me, and I want to help them learn the truth about Falun Dafa." I started by saying, "I heard that there are a lot of people who practice Falun Gong in the northeastern provinces. Did you know that everyone in the world now knows about Falun Gong? A lot of Westerners practice it--you should be proud as a Northeasterner! I am envious of you."
These two Northeasterners were stunned. "Doesn't the CCP condemn Falun Gong?" Of course, I knew the doubts and questions they had in their hearts and continued, "You're Northeasterners. How could you not know that Falun Gong is being persecuted?" I sighed, "That's a pity. Why don't you look at this video I have here." When they saw Dafa being spread all over the world, and how people of all ethnic groups and countries commend the greatness of Falun Dafa, I saw their hearts changing.
One of the Northeasterners, surnamed Liu, said after watching the video, "I remember that there were a lot of Falun Gong practitioners before the persecution began in 1999. There were a lot of them just on the ground floor of my building. One of the elderly practitioners had a son who worked as a policeman in the Public Security Bureau. After the persecution started, when the Public Security Bureau wanted to arrest his mother, he felt he had no choice and had to lead a gang of men back to his home. This old lady chided her son, "What? I practice Falun Gong! So what? Are you going to arrest your own mother?" After a long discussion, this son went back to tell his supervisor, "How can I arrest my own mother?"
I knew for sure that Liu's attitude towards Falun Gong had changed, and I said, "My Master is a Northeasterner, too, so every time I see Northeasterners or hear Northeasterners speak, I feel very much at home. I really feel proud for you Northeasterners. When you return, you have to let your friends and families know about Falun Dafa. Never let them believe the CCP's lies." Liu replied, "Definitely, definitely."
On another occasion, I was on the train traveling towards Shanghai. There were three or four people from Shanghai chatting beside me. They started talking about a very famous place and even said in a proud fashion, "Jiang Zemin wrote a poem there himself." I cut in immediately, "How could anyone let Jiang write a poem in such a nice place? Isn't he destroying it? He's not fit to do that!" Once I said this, everyone was stunned. There were a lot of people on the train walking around, but I was not afraid at all. My thoughts were very simple: "I feel that everyone I meet comes with a predestined relationship and I have to tell him or her the truth." Seeing their puzzled looks, I began clarifying the truth, "If you don't believe me, why don't you watch this video. I can assure you that a bad guy like Jiang is not fit to write anything in such a nice place." I brought out my laptop and played the "Witness" video, deliberately raising the volume to attract more people nearby to watch. The truth-clarification video finished playing after half an hour and under Master's strengthening there was not a single bit of interference. Then I asked these people, "Do you still think Jiang is fit to write something there?" One replied, "No, he's not!"
With the advent of Fa-rectification, the number of truth-clarification videos in my laptop has greatly increased. Changing the minds of people who have been poisoned by the Party culture is greatly enhanced using these visual and audio tools. Almost 90 percent of the people who have seen the videos have changed their attitudes afterwards. Therefore, for people with predestined relationships, I step by step guide them to watch many different videos. For instance, after showing "Witness" and "False Fire," some people say, "Gosh, I want to learn about Falun Gong." Then I continue to play "We Tell the Future" or "Plum Blossom Poem," followed by "Water That Can Sense" and "Bodies That Do Not Degenerate" in the "Unsolved Mysteries" TV series, etc. The effect has been very good. I have since discovered that all who were able to watch everyone of these videos have become new Falun Dafa practitioners!
The above are a few instances of my clarifying the truth using my laptop. Of course, it is still far from what many other practitioners have done.
