(Clearwisdom.net) On June the 3, 2007, citizens in Helsinki welcomed the 11th Mits River Festival on the banks of the river Mits. Falun Gong practitioners rented a stall, distributed materials about the practice, and made beautiful paper lotus flowers. To stand out from the crowd, they wore yellow T-shirts with the words "Falun Gong Is Good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance".
The sun shone brightly that day. The short spring seems to have gone by quietly, as the majority of the people were wearing their summer clothing. People sat in front of the stage, watching the performances. They bought snacks, purchased handicrafts, or went around seeking out their favorite things. Many people were attracted by the striking banner "Falun Dafa," the peaceful exercise music, and the beautiful lotus flowers on the ground. Many took flyers and some learned the exercises. Practitioners also taught those who were interested how to fold lotus flowers. Many signed a petition to end the persecution.

Many people expressed great interest in the practice. A senior citizen asked for materials in Chinese. She said her daughter-in-law is Chinese and hoped that she could also have a look at the facts of Falun Gong.
A Chinese person took a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and some other Falun Gong material, so practitioners asked him whether he had ever visited the Epoch Times website. He said he read it everyday. The practitioners told him that if he had ever joined the Communist Party or its affiliated organizations, he must quit them for a wonderful future. He said, "All right. I will do it."
