(Clearwisdom.net) I began practicing Falun Gong in 1997 and have been protected by Benevolent Teacher ever since. I was in elementary school in the 1960s and took an ice-skating class as part of the physical education curriculum. Because I was not careful, I fell and injured my head. Since then I have had headaches from time to time, and I suffered from this for decades. Although I tried all kinds of treatments and practiced other forms of qigong, I could not get rid of the pain. After I learned Falun Gong, Teacher eliminated the illness for me. I sensed the miraculous effect of Dafa from this experience and it strengthened my confidence in practicing Falun Gong.
I was fine after being bitten by a centipede
In 2000, I was working at the unit sales department. When I was cleaning, I was bitten by a centipede as thick as a pen, on the middle finger of my left hand. I shook it off and my finger started to bleed. I thought maybe this little being came to clear a debt with me. I was quite at ease but my two coworkers and a few students were worried about me and wanted to accompany me to the hospital. I replied that it was not necessary since I practiced Falun Gong; I would be fine. As soon as I finished saying that, my finger stopped bleeding and did not hurt any more, so I continued to work. The second day, they checked my hand and saw that I was fine. They said that Falun Gong was quite miraculous. I added, "Not only is it miraculous, it teaches people to be good and to do good deeds. It helps one get rid of illnesses and it is based on the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance guiding people to become good." They asked why, if Falun Gong was truly good, it was banned by the government. I clarified the truth to them and told them that Jiang and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) single-handedly began the suppression. Because there were 100 million people practicing Falun Gong and that number surpassed the number of Communist Party members, Jiang became jealous and began to illegally persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Furthermore, he utilized the country's propaganda machinery to defame and slander Falun Gong. He made up lies about the "April 25" incident and other rumors to deceive people. The consequences of his acts have been terrible. I asked them not to believe the rumors they read in the newspaper and see on television. I said that I was living proof of the goodness of Falun Gong. My colleagues all expressed interest in learning Falun Gong after they understood the truth.
Righteous thoughts prevented me from being seen by the police
In the summer of 2001, at a practitioner's print shop, I printed several hundred truth-clarification flyers. After I paid for them, I wanted to talk with the practitioner, but a police car suddenly pulled up in front of the shop. I immediately recited the righteous thoughts verses taught by Teacher and walked out of the store, right past the vehicle. I saw several policemen get out and rush into the store. I walked down to a crosswalk and was waiting to cross when the police vehicle came and parked about two or three meters away. I started to send forth righteous thoughts again as they opened the door to look in my direction. I continued to send forth righteous thoughts so that they would not see the truth-clarification materials that I was holding. As soon as I did that, I heard someone in the car say, "I don't see anything, let's go," and they drove away.
From this dangerous experience, I realized that under any circumstance, as long as practitioners maintain righteous thoughts and don't allow the evil to take advantage of any loopholes, as long as we maintain a calm state of mind, take the Fa as Teacher, believe in Teacher and the Fa, then Teacher's law bodies will be with us and protect us. As long as practitioners have righteous thoughts, then any danger will be dissolved.
My experience clarifying the truth in the countryside
In the spring of 2004, under Teacher's guidance, I realized I had to return to my hometown in the countryside to clarify the truth and to save sentient beings such as my elderly relatives and fellow villagers. Several days later, I prepared by placing several hundred truth-clarification booklets, DVDs, "amulets," and cards in my travel bag. I planned to visit for several days since the distance is about three hundred kilometers and it is in a poor, mountainous area. Before I departed, I asked for Teacher's protection. On the bus, I kept sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil interference from other dimensions that might prevent me from assisting Teacher in Fa-rectification and in saving sentient beings. By the time I arrived it was already noon. I saw two tall residential buildings near the station and I walked over to them. The road was very quiet. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts as I distributed truth-clarification materials from the eighth floor down to the first floor. I finished distributing the materials, including the DVDs, in both buildings, and everything went well under Teacher's protection.
I remembered then to not develop the attachment of zealotry and allow the evil to take advantage of the loophole, so I left immediately and went down some small alleys. I noticed that some doors were open, so I gave some materials and amulets to the residents. After that, Teacher reminded me again to go home and save my elderly relatives and fellow villagers, so I took the bus back to my hometown. This was actually the hometown of my husband, who is also a practitioner. Although I don't go home often, my fellow villagers were very kind to me, and they asked how I was doing. I stayed there several days, and during that time I visited their homes and clarified the truth to them. I told them that Falun Gong is good and that it teaches people to be good and to do good deeds. I told them not to believe the rumors they read in the newspapers and saw on television. I gave them amulets and told them to often recite, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are good. Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa." I said that if they sincerely believed what they were saying they'd have a healthy body, peace, and prosperity. They were very happy to hear that and believed in it, and they all wanted an amulet.
In reality, very few people in that mountainous area know the truth about Falun Gong. Previously, I did not place much importance on clarifying the truth in the countryside. Their loss is my responsibility. Ever since I read an article entitled, "Practitioners in the City Should Place Importance on Truth Clarification in the Countryside" in the #245 issue of "Minghui Weekly" (http://minghui.ca/mh/articles/2006/9/17/137987p.html), I saw where I needed to improve and realized that the Fa-rectification has reached a certain stage where there are many things we should understand and focus on.
What I mentioned above are the few things I have done to validate the Fa, and they are ordinary examples. However, I became enlightened to this: I'm a Fa-rectification Dafa practitioner, and I must take the Fa as Teacher, believe in Teacher and the Fa. In every moment of my life, I must enlighten to the Fa in all my thoughts and actions and not disappoint Teacher. Fellow practitioners, let's be diligent. In this final moment of Fa-rectification, we must handle ourselves well and do the three things Teacher asks of us, walk steadily the entire course of cultivation in the Fa-rectification process, and be responsible to sentient beings. This is the true compassion of a god!
