Beijing Women's Prison is one of the Chinese Communist Party's designated locations to persecute practitioners. Since Jiang Zemin and the Party started persecuting Falun Dafa, numerous practitioners have been disabled, killed, or driven to mental collapse as a result of tortures administered at this prison. Practitioners Ms. Dong Cuifang, Ms. Zhou Zi, Ms. Yuan Lin, and Ms. Gong Ruioin are merely four examples. Zhen Yumei, head of Division 10, beat and otherwise tortured Ms. Zhou, who began a hunger strike on February 26, 2007, to protest the guards' violations of human rights.
It was learned that Ms. Zhou is now forbidden from purchasing daily necessities at the Group Drill Division. Official Zhen Yumei has been transferred, but she was not disciplined for persecuting Dafa practitioners. April 9 was the 43rd day of Ms. Zhou Zi's hunger strike.
