(Clearwisdom.net) To help celebrate World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, some practitioners published articles on the Internet about making stickers. One of the designs was in a circle and its bright yellow color was very beautiful. I printed it out and started to cut it with scissors. While I was cutting the circle, I found that it was difficult to cut the edges smoothly. The small circles helped me to enlighten that cultivating Dafa can harmonize everything. The closer we get to the end of Fa rectification, the stricter should be our requirements to walk our paths righteously and to harmonize with Dafa.
The small circles vividly helped me realize that it was not easy to be able to truly harmonize everything. The circles are formed by infinite lines from the center to the point on the circle in which all are equal.
Cutting the circles was like walking on the path of cultivation. When I was calm and peaceful, the edges were smoother and closer to a circle. If I was irritable, the scissors were hard to control and the edges were uneven, which was frustrating. After a circle was cut, you could easily tell which edge was good, and which part was bad. Some of the bad parts could be repaired but some could not. I enlightened that the radius was like the requirements for practitioners, which never change and were the same for everyone. Even a little change was not allowed. Master leads us on a path without form. I sometimes feel the path is too abstract and I cannot grasp it, but today I seem to have a better understanding from cutting the circles.
A circle is different than a line, which is directional and straight. When I started cultivation, I was thinking in terms of lines. Master said:
"I have been responsible to society and practitioners. The results we have received have been good, and their impact upon the entire society has also been quite good." (Zhuan Falun)
At the beginning of my cultivation, I was not able to "Take the Middle Way" (Essentials) as Master requires. The Buddha school conceptualizes the world from all directions, which is actually quite like a circle. A circle includes different faces and sides, including the heavens and the human world. The Fa gives the standards for measuring everything, so the illusions in the human world, the interference from other dimensions, and individual problems can be distinguished. By thinking about things comprehensively and from all sides, problems can be resolved thoroughly.
