1. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhao Wenshan Lost Ability to Care for Himself Due to Torture
Police from the Nanpu Road Police Station arrested Mr. Zhao Wenshan, a practitioner from Qiqihar, in March 2006. During his arrest, he was beaten and his legs and arms were paralyzed. Then, he was taken to Qiqihar No. 1 Detention Center and suffered further torture. In early February 2007, he was taken to Tailai Prison, where he also was tortured. He lost the ability to take care of himself from the torture.

Guards from Brigade 12 of Wanjia Forced Labor Camp force-fed practitioner Song Wenjuan for over ten days.
3. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Wang Shiqiang Paralyzed Due to Torture
Police from Longshun Police Station, Huainan Public Security Sub-Bureau arrested Anhui practitioner Mr. Wang Shiqiang, over 50, and ransacked his home on June 7, 2005. He was taken to Huainan No. 1 Detention Center, suffered cruel torture and was sentenced to a 13-year prison term on December 5, 2005. His mother passed away because of anguish over his arrest. The persecutors did not allow him to attend the funeral.
Later, Wang Shiqiang was transferred to Chaohu No. 2 Prison where he was tortured cruelly. He is paralyzed, has difficulty eating and drinking and is emaciated. He is in critical condition.
4. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Kong Xiangzhu Tortured at Mudanjiang Jail
In June 2006, Mr. Kong Xiangzhu suffered tubercular meningitis due to the torture he suffered at Mudanjiang Prison in Heilongjiang Province. After more than 10 months of torture, Kong Xiangzhu lost his ability to take care of himself. His family members were finally allowed to bail him out for medical treatment. Prison staff extorted 5,000 yuan from them.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhang Hongbing Detained at Shenxin Forced Labor Camp
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Hongbing of Dadong District, Shenyang City has been imprisoned at Shenxin Forced Labor Camp. She was to be released April 4, 2007. Yet, police from Dongzhan Police Station and staff of the Dongzhan Residents' Committee Office took her to the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center for further persecution. They also extorted 3,000 yuan from her mother.

6. [Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Gao Xiuli Detained
Practitioner Ms. Gao Xiuli of Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province was reported when clarifying the truth. She was then arrested, sentenced to 3 years of forced labor and detained at Tieling County Detention Center. Her health has deteriorated and she suffers uneven heartbeats and body trembling. Also, her weight dropped from over 140 lbs. to less than 100 lbs.
7. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Late at night on April 12, 2007, practitioners Mr. Xu Zhiming and Mr. Cheng Wei were arrested.

On April 8, 2007, practitioner Ms. Sun Guirong was arrested.
9. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Xu Xuecun Persecuted at Fushun Brainwashing Center
Practitioner Mr. Xu Xuecun, 47, from Hujia Village, Shuangdao Bay, Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, was reported when posting truth-clarification materials. Police arrested him and detained him at Fushun Brainwashing Center.
10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Nine Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
In April 2007, practitioners of Sandao Townhip, Erdao District, Changchun City Mr. Wang Xin and wife, Ms. Wang Wen, Ms. Du Xiuge, Ms. Du Xiukun and four other practitioners were reported for distributing truth clarification materials and were subsequently arrested.
11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wang Riqing Arrested
Around 10:30 p.m. on April 8, 2007, practitioner Mr. Wang Riqing of Jinzhou District, Dalian and another female practitioner were arrested when they were posting truth-clarification materials at the fountain square in front of the Jinzhou training station.
12. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Wu Shujie Tortured in Harbin City Women's Prison
Harbin City practitioner Ms. Wu Shujie, around 57 years old, has been tortured at Harbin City Women's Prison. Her son died from being tortured.
13. [Huanren County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Jiang Zhongrong Arrested
At 8 a.m. on April 13, 2007, seven police officers from the Huanren County Public Security Bureau arrested Mr. Jiang Zhongrong and ransacked his home.
14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Jin Chengshan and Jiao Xiaohua Face Illegal Sentencing
Practitioners Mr. Jin Chengshan and his wife Jiao Xiaohua of Hulan District, Harbin City are facing illegal sentencing. Mr. Jin Chengshan is detained at Hulan District Detention Center and Ms. Jiao Xiaohua is detained at Section 7 in Harbin City.
Jin Chengshan has become paralyzed due to torture. He no longer can take care of himself. His body is covered with bedsores, yet he is still detained and tortured. Their only daughter has not been able to see her parents.
15. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Liu Xiangbo Seized
Practitioner Mr. Liu Xiangbo of Ningyuan Town, Bin County drives a truck to haul agricultural products. He has a banner with the words "Falun Dafa Is Good" on the truck. On the morning of April 13, 2007, vice squad of Bin County passed by Changan Town and saw the truck. They notified the local police station. Police from Changan Town Police Station arrested Liu Xiangbo, and took him to the County Detention Center.

16. [Suihua, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Yu Liangbin Illegally Placed on Trial
Suihua practitioner Mr. Yu Liangbin has been detained for six months. On March 12, 2007, staff at Suihua Beilin District Court secretly put Yu Liangbin, 69, on trial.
17. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Wang Lijuan and Other Practitioners Persecuted
On April 13, 2007, police broke into Ms. Wang Lijuan's home. Wang Lijuan was forced to jump out of the 4th floor window. Later, she and her son were arrested. Her husband was sentenced to an 11-year prison term to be served at Wafangdian Prison.
Nearly 80-year-old practitioner Mr. Yu Pengchuan and his wife were arrested at their home. They are detained at the city detention center.
18. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Police from Lixin Police Station Detains Victim of a Beating While Releasing the Abuser
On March 18, 2007, Li Shuangling fiercely beat his wife, a Falun Gong practitioner, on Xinxing Road of Shuangyashan City. The police arrested both of them. Then, the lady was taken to a detention center by police from Lixin Police Station and detained for 15 days but Li Shuangling was released.
19. [Pulandian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Jin Xinnian Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Jin Xinnian of Siping Village, Pulandian City survived without being hurt during a traffic accident. To show Falun Dafa's supernatural abilities and beauty, he clarified the truth to the police officers who dealt with the accident. They reported him to police from the local police station. On April 6, 2007, police from the Dalian Development District 610 Office and Huanghe Police Station arrested him. He is detained at Daheishan Detention Center in Dalian Development District.

20. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Practitioner Xu Bin Tortured by Police
On the night of April 13, policeman Liang Xiangyang of Puyang Street Police Station, Changchun and a group of police went to practitioner Mr. Xu Bin's home. They ransacked his home, confiscated Teacher's picture, exercise tapes and other items. They took Mr. Xu Bin to the police station. While at the police station Mr. Xu Bin suffered heart attack symptoms. His entire body felt cold and his arms and legs twitched. His family told the police that they would have to bear responsibility if he died. They released him.
21. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhang Jun Forcibly Taken to a Detention Center
Before dawn on April 9, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhang Jun of Delisi Town, Wafangdian City was posting truth-clarification materials. Three security guards from the juice producing factory arrested her. She is now detained at Wafangdian City Detention Center.

22. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Ms. Li Guixin Arrested
Dagang District practitioner Ms. Li Guixin was arrested and taken to a forced labor camp.
23. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Ms. Li Shufeng Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Li Shufeng has been detained and suffering torture for seven to eight months.
24. [Shanhaiguan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wei Danquan's Home Ransacked
At 10 a.m. on April 14, 2007, seven to eight police officers arrested practitioners Mr. Wei Danquan, Mr. Liu Changfu and Mr. Yang Xiaoyong. The police broke into and ransacked their homes. Their whereabouts are unknown.
25. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
On April 13, 2007, three practitioners, including Ms. Liang Ping and Ms. Liu Ruiqin of Heping Village, Chengzihe Mine, Jixi City were reported when distributing materials. They were arrested and are detained at a detention center.
26. [Zunhua, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Including Ren Xiuli Arrested
On the afternoon of April 10, 2007, police from the Zunhua National Protection team arrested practitioners Ms. Ren Xiuli, Ms. Huo Fengrong and Ms. Zhang Yueping. Three more practitioner were arrested that night, including Ms. Song Chunhua. Police ransacked their homes and stole two computers, a photocopier and other personal items.
27. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Zhang Yue and Other Practitioners Secretly Sentenced
On January 28, 2007, Laishan District Court of Yantai City secretly sentenced Yantai University teacher Mr. Zhang Yue, his wife Ms. Yang Xueqin and several other practitioners.
28. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Over 30 Yantai Practitioners Tortured at a Detention Center
Over 30 Yantai Dafa Practitioners, including Ms. Bi Jianhong, Mr. Li Zegang, Mr. Chen Qiwei, Ms. Sun Yuehua, Ms. Yu Jianchun, Ms. Chen Guanglan and Mr. Zhang Shiyue have been detained for 6 months at detention centers in Yantai, Waxia and other centers.

On April 2, 2007, Jining practitioner Ms. Yang Lirong, over 60, was reported when clarifying the truth at the village market. Jining police arrested her. She is detained at Jining City Detention Center.

30. [Longhua County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Chen Xiaofeng Arrested
On April 11, 2007, the new Politics and Law Secretary of Longhua County He Qingkui and 20 other poisoned people arrested Mr. Chen Xiaofeng at his home. They confiscated a computer, Falun Dafa books and other items.
His family asked that he be released. They were told to pay 5,000 yuan for his release. Chen Xiaofeng is now detained at Longhua County Detention Center.
31. [Wenling, Zhejiang Province] Practitioner Han Ping and Others Arrested
Practitioners Mr. Han Ping and Mr. Zhao Linbing were arrested on false charges and taken to Wenling City Detention Center in Zhejiang Province. A hidden camera was installed at Han Ping and Zhao Linbing's workshop entrance to monitor people who visited the factory.
No further information about the situation of Ms. Wang Honghui and Mr. Guo Xiaobo is available at this time.
32. [Foshan, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Li Jichang Put on Trial
Mr. Li Jichang, an unemployed practitioner of the Heshun Marketing Cooperative, Lishui, Nanhai, Foshan was put on trial in court room No. 4 in Chancheng District Court, South Shuijiang Road, Foshan, at 9 a.m. on April 16, 2007. Officers from the Heshun Police Station 610 Office had arrested Li Jichang. On July 26, 2000, he was sentenced and taken to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp. He received a 2-year sentence. He was beaten and became disabled. He was bailed out for medical treatment.
His home phone in Dongguan was monitored. Li Jichang was again arrested by Heshun Police Station 610 Office agents and taken to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp for another 2 years. As a result of torture, he became deaf in one ear, and lost the use of his feet. But, he continues to practice Falun Gong and clarifies the truth to people.
33. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Hu Jinwen and Wife Arrested
After 4 p.m. on April 11, practitioner Mr. Hu Jinwen returned to his store. Soon after, over ten police ransacked his entire house, confiscated his computer and several boxes of valuable belongings. Then, they arrested Hu Jinwen and Ms. Lin Xiujin. They are now detained at Tianhe Detention Center.
34. [Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Police Shamelessly Steal Hundreds of Chickens from a Farmer
In March 2007, over ten police officers from the Akesu District Public Security Bureau of Xinjiang went to Mr. Dong Jingyi's rented farm property. He did not practice Falun Gong, but the police used the excuse of him practicing Falun Gong to steal several hundred chickens.
35. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Practitioners Liu and Li Arrested
Wuhan practitioners Ms. Liu and Ms. Li went to a military region dormitory in Wuhan to hand out truth-clarification materials on the afternoon of April 8. Police of Hanyang Sub-Bureau of Wuhan Public Security Bureau living in the dormitory took Ms. Liu and Ms. Li to the Liujiaoting Police Station. Then, they were taken to the Etouwan Brainwashing Center.
36. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Jiang Xianfeng Arrested
At 6 p.m. on April 13, 2007, staff from Renhe District 51 Street Residents' Committee Office and some police officers broke into practitioner Ms. Jiang Xianfeng of Panzhihua City Gear Factory home and arrested her.
37. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ning Hong Arrested
Security officers followed practitioner Ms. Ning Hong, 48 years old, a reporter at People's Broadcasting Radio in Sichuan, when she was distributing the Nine Commentaries. Public security officers and police officers of Shuangnan Police Station arrested her at her home on August 27, 2006. She is detained at Chengdu Detention Center in Pi County.
On February 12, 2007, Wuhou District Court in Chengdu City sentenced Ning Hong to 3 years of forced labor.

On the afternoon of April 11, 2007, practitioner Ms. Xu Juhua of the No. 5 Research Institute was arrested.

In the early morning on April 14, practitioner Ms. A Fen and another practitioner of Dongguan City were arrested when they were handing out truth-clarification materials in Daojiao Town. In the afternoon, police from the local police station ransacked Ms. A Fen's home. They confiscated truth-clarification materials, a computer and a photocopier.
42. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Zhou Zidong Arrested and Home Ransacked
On the night of April 10, 2007, Deyang City practitioner Ms. Zhou Zidong clarified the truth to people in the market. She was reported by a market security guard and arrested by policemen Hong Qi and others. Her home was ransacked. She is now detained at Deyang City Detention Center.
43. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Gengli Secretly Taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
At 9 a.m. on March 24, 2007, Ms. Gengli, who was working at Yichuntang Pharmacy on Qingyun Street, was arrested by Renmin Road Police Station police. She was detained at the detention center of the public security bureau near Qianshan Road. They secretly transferred her to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp on March 30. Her home phone is tapped.
44. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Huang Juxiu Dies Due to Persecution
Wuhan practitioner Ms. Huang Juxiu was arrested and taken to a forced labor camp. She was tortured for practicing Falun Gong. Her family has been constantly harassed. Elderly Huang Juxiu died as a result of physical and mental torture on August 3, 2001.
