(Clearwisdom.net) On April 29, 2007, practitioners in Rome held an activity near Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, commemorating the eighth anniversary of the April 25th peaceful appeal by practitioners in Beijing. They condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s eight-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong and the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. They also expressed strong support for the over 21 million Chinese people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
At around 11:00 a.m. in the morning, there were already many visitors to Vatican City. Many tourists stopped to read the poster displays and were shocked by atrocities and terror promulgated by the CCP. Many came to ask for leaflets for more details.

An elderly Chinese gentleman asked a practitioner for more information. He said that he had already read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and wanted to have more materials. An Italian gentleman said that he believed that one's attitude towards "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and the evil CCP would determine one's future. He said he would tell people what he knew and let them know the facts.
Quite a lot of people could not understand why the CCP would want to persecute a group cultivating "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Practitioners told people about the CCP's wickedness. It brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners because it is afraid of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." People who learned the facts understood more about how the CCP has harmed mankind. More and more people realized that governments should not keep silent about the CCP's atrocities just for economic interests. Doing so will lead mankind to great danger in the future. Many people asked practitioners what they could do to help and many others said that they would help their friends and relatives know the facts.
The majority of people who received truth-clarification materials wished the practitioners luck and expressed their support.
