(Clearwisdom.net) My two siblings and I all had bad health before practicing Falun Dafa; I had illness and discomfort all over my body. My family has a history of hepatitis. My grandfather died from hepatitis, and my mother died of liver cirrhosis with ascites at the age of 54. Several other family members also died of hepatitis: my elder brother at 50, my elder sister at 28, my second elder brother at 52, and my younger brother at 8. Because of these untimely deaths, we seven siblings have now become three.
In 1985 I was diagnosed with hepatitis B. I took plenty of medication, but the disease got worse day by day. By 1990, it had become HBeAg-positive, in combination with liver malfunction bordering on cirrhosis. I was very stressed and could not go to sleep at night. Especially when recalling the pain of my mother and other family members upon their death, I was very frightened. We could not see any hope for me, since no medication could cure such a disease with an entrenched family history. Therefore, we were looking for miracles.
In 1995, when my second elder brother was severely ill, I consulted with someone who could predict the future. We were told that we had killed other people in the past few generations of reincarnation, so we could only pay the debts with our lives. After my second elder brother died, I knew that death was waiting for me.
In 1996, I went to visit a friend, who played a videotape of a Falun Gong lecture for me. Watching the video, I was very impressed that Teacher was so good and told us everything. For example, I came to know why we came to this world, and why humans have illnesses. Our family history of disease was because we had committed wrong deeds and hurt others; therefore we had to pay back whatever we owed, generation after generation. On the following day, a friend gave me a copy of “Zhuan Falun”. I felt that it was very precious. The more I read the book, the more I wanted to read it. I saw hope.
On May 6, 1996, I went to the Falun Gong practice site, and we three siblings all started to practice from then on. Teacher purified our bodies, eliminated karma, and helped us to pay back our debts owed in our past reincarnations. Teacher has done so much for us -- it is beyond words.
Ever since the first day I started to practice, I have been very happy, with no illness. Others also saw me as a different person. Every day, I keep on doing the exercises and studying the “Fa”. My physical health has become better and better. Before practicing, I was a little over 45 kilograms and could hardly straighten my back. Now, after 11 years of cultivation, my weight has increased by about 10 kilograms and is now normal, with no medication. Not only my body, but also my mind has become younger.
Sometimes I think that, were it not for help from Teacher, my siblings and I would most likely have died a long time ago. We are so fortunate. As a result of the big changes in us, my immediate family and other relatives all believe in Dafa. Although they do not practice, their positive attitude towards Dafa has helped them in many ways.
In 2002, my husband and I went to visit some old friends. Because of pain from calculus, our friend could not get out of bed. She had not slept well for more than 10 days. The diagnosis by a doctor showed three stones, which would cost more than 2,000 yuan to break up. I asked her to recite “Falun Dafa is good” and she agreed to do so. We did not have any contact since then. We met again in 2004, and my friend was very happy to see me. She said that she could sleep well the night after I told her about Dafa. On the third day, the pain was gone.
Falun Dafa is so good. However, since July 1999, the vicious Communist Party has not allowed people to practice it. They went looking everywhere to arrest people and they make up lies such as the so-called Tiananmen Square self-immolation. With trust in the government, we went to Beijing to tell them the facts about Dafa and to appeal for justice. Upon arriving in Beijing, we were arrested and held in a detention center. We were charged with “disturbing the social order”; some practitioners were sent to labor camps and some were sentenced to prison. I could not understand why this could happen. Why are we not allowed to have good health and become better people through practicing Falun Gong? With better health and higher morality, isn’t it a good thing for society? I hope we can all think about this.
