(Clearwisdom.net) In order for more Ukrainians to learn about Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution, practitioners in Ukraine hold activities almost every weekend in cities large and small throughout the country.
On April 21st, 2007, they visited a small town in the eastern part of Ukraine, Severodonetsk, raising awareness about Falun Gong among the kind-hearted people there. Many who learned the truth could not wait to learn the Falun Gong exercises.
An elderly man was attracted by the peaceful exercises demonstrated in the square. With huge effort he walked up to the information boards to carefully read their content. Indignant to learn that the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners, a group of people who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," he asked to sign the petition to condemn the CCP's atrocities. Afterwards, the gentleman slowly walked away. When he was not too far away, a pack of pigeons made their way towards him. He reached out his hands and the pigeons landed on his hands and shoulders as if they knew him. According to local residents, the gentleman was very kind-hearted, which was the reason why the pigeons were not afraid of him.
Melodious exercise music and the peaceful exercise demonstration attracted passersby as well as children playing in the square. Two children were especially interested. After watching a while, they went ahead and practiced along with the practitioners. One was a pre-school boy, who after practicing for a while carefully read the posters boards. Although he was far from fluent and his vocabulary incomplete, he earnestly read out loud word by word. Another was a little girl, who after finishing the exercises asked practitioners excitedly whether the exercises were indeed taught for free.
The benevolent and harmonious energy field of Falun Gong surrounded the
square, which was the reason why in the gloomy weather the sun shone on the
square alone.
