1. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Facts about the Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Ren Liqin
Ms. Ren Liqin was born on December 9, 1954. On January 22, 2000, she was arrested for going to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Gong. After being taken back by the local police, she was unlawfully detained for a month and forced to pay a 500 “yuan” fine.
On December 18, 2000, Ms. Ren went to Beijing to appeal for the second time. She was arrested and taken back by her work unit. She was unlawfully held in custody for over 40 days.
On March 6, 2001, Ms. Ren was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor. She was held in the Lanzhou Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she was brutally tortured. She had been handcuffed and suspended in mid-air by those handcuffs for seven days. She had to take extra labor intensive assignments, was given only half a bun at each meal, and was forced to write statements renouncing Falun Gong.
She has remained under constant harassment by local 610 Office police after returning home in 2003.
2. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Jianpo's Life in Imminent Danger Due to Torture
On February 27, 2007, family members of Mr. Yang Jianpo, a practitioner from Langfang City, went to the Jidong Prison in Tangshan City to visit him. They demanded to see Mr. Yang and know why he was not sent home. Prior to the Chinese New Year's Day (February 18), prison guards from the Jidong Prison arrived at Mr. Yang's home to process paperwork for medical parole. They claimed Mr. Yang was to be sent home before February 18. Hao Baoxin (male), head of the No. 4 Branch Team, said, “Yang's life was in imminent danger prior to February 18. Now the danger is over. The Central Party Committee has issued documents stipulating that no Falun Gong practitioners are allowed to meet their family members.” The prison officials rejected the family's demand to meet Mr. Yang.

3. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Woman in Her Seventies Thrown to the Side of the Highway by Detention Guards
Mr. Cao Jiwei's mother is in her seventies. She learned from relatives that her son was unlawfully held in the Laishui County Detention Center in Hebei Province, and went there with her daughter-in-law and grand-daughter, requesting to see her son. Detention center guards said that her son was in the Loucun Village Police Station. The three of them then went to the police station, but police officers told them that Mr. Cao was in the detention center. After going back and forth over twenty miles, the elderly lady burst into tears outside the detention center. The guards threatened, “If you don't leave, we are going to drag your son out and apply electric shock on him till he kneels down in front of us.” Mr. Cao's mother was so sad that she could not stop crying. The detention center guards dragged her to the side of State Route 112 in Laishui County. She collapsed onto the ground. It was past 9:00 p.m. If it were not for her relatives, who arrived to collect her, she would not have been able to get herself home from the highway at night.

At around 8:00 a.m. on March 1, 2007, officers Liang Di (male) and Gao Linjun (male) from the Daming Town Police Station in Diaobingshan City, Zhang Fenglai (male) and Wang Xueping (male) from the State Security Division and four or five other officers broke into practitioner Ms. Bai Ying's home. Ms. Bai and Ms. Cai Shuhua were taken into custody. The officers also took away valuables. Ms. Bai Ying, 60, is being held in the city's police department.

5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Yang Chengshan Faces Unlawful Trial
Mr. Yang Chengshan, a practitioner from Acheng in Harbin City, was taken into custody on the afternoon of August 28, 2006. Mr. Yang is being held at the Acheng District No. 1 Detention Center. His family has been denied visitation. The Acheng District Court plans to put Mr. Yang Chengshan on trial soon.
Ms. Du Xiuqin, who was arrested at the same time, has been sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp.
6. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Elderly Practitioner Ms. Xu Xiuzhen Taken into Custody
Practitioner Ms. Xu Xiuzhen, 65, is from Leshan City. At around 10:00 p.m. on January 30, 2007, she was taken into custody by police, who had staked her out in the dark while she was posting truth-clarifying signs. Officers from the Niuhua Town Police Station in Wutongqiao District, Leshan City searched Ms. Xu's home the same night. Ms. Xu's whereabouts are unknown. Her family went to the police demanding her release, but to no avail.
7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Latest Update on Mr. Li Feng, Who Is Held in the Shijiazhuang No. 4 Prison
Practitioner Mr. Li Feng, held in the Shijiazhuang No. 4 Prison in Hebei Province, has been experiencing symptoms of high blood pressure and heart problems for over a year. His condition has deteriorated recently. The entire right half of his body has turned numb, and he feels tightness in his chest. He is not able to eat or drink normally. The prison authorities have refused to allow him a thorough physical examination, nor was he given treatment.
8. [Daxing'anling City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Feng Is in an Extremely Weak Condition As a Result of Torture by Detention Guards
Mr. Liu Fen, a practitioner from Songling District in Daxing'anling, went on a hunger strike in the Hanjiayuan Detention Center. There, he has been force-fed and tortured until his body became disfigured. He cannot walk and is in an extremely weak condition. The guards have still ordered two people to hold him in the hospital for force-feeding.

Practitioner Mr. Wei Shan is being held in the No. 3 Ward of the Deyang Prison in Huangxu Town, Sichuan Province. The prison guards have placed Mr. Wei in solitary confinement for an extended period of time. His family has been denied all visitation. Mr. Huang is not even allowed to talk to his family members over the phone.

The latest news on the case of Mr. Wang Yuejian, a practitioner from Changchun City, Jilin Province, is that he has been returned to the Economics and Technology Development District Police Department in Changchun City, as well as to the Zhuhai Road Police Station. Mr. Wang's family has demanded his release, but officials at the police station and police department said they were to follow orders from the city's political and judiciary committee, the state security division of the city's police department, and the 610 Office.

12. [Hejian City, Hebei Province] Two Female Practitioners Taken to Hejian City Detention Center
On the evening of February 28, 2007, two women practitioners went to Qihui Village to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were turned in to the police. Officers from the Beishicao Township Police Station took the two practitioners to the Hejian City Detention Center and searched their homes.

13. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Mr. Han Yuechun and Mr. Zhou Zongtang Unlawfully Taken into Custody
At around 9:00 a.m. on March 2, 2007, Liu Yanwen (gender unknown), director of the Tumenzi Police Station in Qinglong County, led a dozen officers to break into practitioner Mr. Han Yuechun's home. They unlawfully searched the premises and did not find anything, but still took Mr. Han into custody. Mr. Han is being held at the Qinglong County Detention Center.
At the same time on March 2, 2007, Dong Liake (male), director of the Dashilingzi Police Station, and officers from the Qinglong County State Security Division arrived in three vehicles. The officers broke into practitioner Mr. Zhou Zongtang's home. They unlawfully took away a desktop computer, two printers, some color ink cartridges, a USB storage device, and a large number of Falun Dafa printouts. The police took Mr. Zhou to the Qinglong County Detention Center. When Mr. Zhou's family went there asking for his release, the authorities demanded 10,000 yuan in exchange.
At around 10:00 a.m. on March 2, 2007, officers from the Qinglong County State Security Division and the police department arrived in three vehicles at practitioner Ms. Shao Wenhui's home. The officers unlawfully pried open the door to search Ms. Shao's home. They took away a printer, some color ink cartridges, a paper cutter, a stapler, two stacks of color printing paper, four bottles of ink spray, a portrait of Master Li, and Falun Dafa books. At the time, Ms. Shao was not home and avoided being taken away by the police.
14. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Elderly Practitioner Ms. Yang Yanyue Taken into Custody
Practitioner Ms. Yang Yanyue is in her sixties and lives at the Chaoyang Residential Complex in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. She had just returned home prior to the Chinese New Year, which started on February 18, 2007. On the evening of February 28, she was suddenly taken into custody by the Jiaozuo City Police Department and the Qinyang City Police Department. Sources say that she is being held at the Qinyang City Police Department.
15. [Nanbu County, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Yang Zibao Faces Unlawful Forced Labor
Prior to the Chinese New Year, police in Nanbu County, Sichuan Province took into custody Mr. Yang Zibao and three other practitioners. The three practitioners have been released, but the authorities are planning to sentence Mr. Yang to one year of forced labor.

16. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Latest Situation of the Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Wang Yan
In March 2005, Ms. Wang Yan was sentenced to three years of forced labor for clarifying the truth. She has been held at No. 2 Division in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City. Ms. Wang had been on a hunger strike, abstaining from taking both food and water, for over six months. Prison physicians have been force-feeding her through her nostrils twice a day. Ms. Wang's stomach has been damaged and she cannot eat rice. Sometimes her stomach aches when taking other food as well. Each day she can only take in liquid food.
Ms. Wang Yan now suffers from low blood pressure, and she feels dizzy every day. Still, she has been forced to work from 5:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., sometimes as late as 11:00 p.m. Ms. Wang's condition continues to deteriorate rapidly. She is now in critical condition. Her mother went to the Fushun City Political and Judiciary Committee, but no one has talked with her. When she tried to make phone calls, she was harassed and threatened.

On February 27, 2007, officers from the Daxing District 610 Office and the Lixian Town Police Station took three practitioners into custody: Mr. Chang Fengjie from Shichang, Ms. Zhai Shufeng from Pingdi Village, and another male practitioner from Duanjiawu.
18. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Sixteen Practitioners Remain in Custody
Since October 2000, over a hundred people have been unlawfully sentenced to prison or forced labor in Jiaozhou City by the 610 Office. Sixteen practitioners remain in custody in various prisons and labor camps for persecution. They are: Mr. Liu Zhaohong, Mr. Wang Mingjiang, Mr. Sun Jianwu, Mr. Wang Yubao, Mr. Zhang Hongliang, Mr. Wang Dezhi (all six of them in Weibei Prison); Ms. Zhou Caixia, Ms. Cheng Yulan, Ms. Han Xiufeng, Ms. Song Guilan, Ms. He Shuqin, Mr. Xiong Xianyong, and Mr. Wang Xushan (all in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp; five in the women's ward and two in the men's); Ms. Sun Guiping (in Zhalantun Forced Labor Camp in Inner Mongolia); Ms. Gao Fen (in Jinan Women's Prison); Ms. Li Xue (in Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City).
19. [Linxi County, Hebei Province] Mr. Jin Rongzhou and Three Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
Mr. Jin Rongzhou is a practitioner from Huangzhuang Village in Hexi Town, Linxi county. He was unlawfully taken into custody prior to the Chinese New Year. Officials from the county's 610 Office continued to harass him at his home after his release. Mr. Jin was forced to leave town. Around February 18, he returned home and was followed. On the evening of February 27, 2007, Mr. Jin Rongzhou and his wife were taken into custody by police from Tongcun, where the county government is located.
On February 28, 2007, the police took into custody Ms. Ma Sunqin and her mother from the same village.

20. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Boshu Returns Home; Two Other Practitioners Sent to Labor Camp
In August 2006, Mr. Zhang Boshu, a practitioner from Fengtai District in Beijing, was turned in to the police by his brother-in-law. The police arrested Mr. Zhang and two other practitioners. Mr. Zhang has since returned home. The other two practitioners have been unlawfully sentenced to forced labor and held in the Daxing District Forced Labor Camp.

On February 28, 2007, practitioners Ms. Liu Fengnu and Ms. Li Xinhuan, both from Beishicao Township in Hejian City, were distributing truth-clarifying materials in the local township. They were turned in to the police and officers from the Beishicao Police Station took them into custody. They were sent to the Hejian City Police Department the next day and unlawfully detained there.

Mr. Xu Qingxiao, a practitioner from Yanzhou City, Shandong Province, was taken into custody by the police while distributing truth-clarifying materials at the end of February, 2007. Mr. Xu is being held in the Yanzhou Detention Center.

23. [Qinghuangdao City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Han Shen Taken into Custody in Tangshan City by Police after Being Forced to Leave His Hometown
Mr. Han Shen, a practitioner from Qinglong County, was forced to leave town and went to Tangshan City. At around 8:00 a.m. on March 2, 2007, officers from Qinglong County took him into custody. Mr. Han's whereabouts are unknown.
24. [Beijing] Supplementary Information on Practitioner Ms. Yang Fuhua's Being Taken into Custody
On February 15, 2007, the Minghui website published a report that police in Haidian District, Beijing took practitioner Ms. Yang Fuhua into custody. It has since been discovered that prior to this, Haidian District police took into custody practitioner Ms. Jiao Yuxia, who is from the Shibalidian Township in Chaoyang District, where Ms. Yang is from. The officers then immediately arrived at Ms. Yang Fuhua's home. They unlawfully searched her home and took her into custody in front of her entire family, who had gathered there for celebrating the Chinese New Year holidays. That was on February 10, 2007. Ms. Yang Fuhuan is currently being held in the Qinghe Detention Center.
25. [Beijing] Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp Continues Committing Crimes
Authorities in the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp continue to investigate family members of practitioners. Those family members who practice Falun Gong are denied admission for visits. Practitioners in custody who refuse to renounce their practice are being held together with inmates on criminal charges for further persecution.

Ms. Fan, 23, a practitioner from Chongqing, was taken into custody from a Falun Gong material production site in Shiqiaopu around February 14, 2007.
27. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Peng Shuquan Taken into Custody by Police in a Train Heading Out of Harbin City
Around January 20, 2007, Mr. Peng Shuquan was taken into custody by the police while aboard a train from Harbin City to Tianjin. Mr. Peng is being held in custody in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.
28. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Practitioner Mr. Si Deli Arrested Numerous Times
Mr. Si Deli was formerly a key employee at the Shihe District Culture Center in Xinyang City, Henan Province. Mr. Si was born in 1953 and has an associate degree. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997.
After July 20, 1999, Wu Tianjun (male), director of the Shihe District 610 Office, and other police officers began to persecute him. They ordered Mr. Si's work unit to place him under surveillance around the clock. Mr. Si's mother was close to 90 years old. His child was in school.
From 1999 to 2000, Zeng Shan (male), an officer from the State Security Division, and officers from the Minquan Police Station conducted two unlawful searches at Mr. Si's home. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, a tape recorder, and other items. Mr. Si was sent to the Xinyang City No. 1 Detention Center. After 18 days of continuous torture, Mr. Si became bedridden. Fluid kept coming out of two blisters on his legs. His family has been denied all visits. Thirty days later, he was transferred to the detention center. When his family eventually met him, he was emaciated.
In March 2001, the 610 Office and the State Security Division fabricated charges and sentenced Mr. Si Delin to one year of forced labor. After his return in 2002, he continued to practice Falun Gong and was detained for a month by Wu Bo (male) of the State Security Division. He was subsequently sent to the Xuchang No. 2 Labor Camp for two years of forced labor. In order to transform him, the guards lifted Mr. Si off the ground with thin linen strips. They filled his mouth with towels and applied electric shocks in unexposed areas of his body. He was not able to properly take care of himself for several days after the inhuman torture. His hands and arms became swollen.. During the total of three years of forced labor, his accumulated salary was confiscated by Wu Tianjun and other officers from the 610 Office.
In August 2005, Mr. Si was on his way to Shihegang to clarify the truth and distribute materials. He was turned in to the police. The local police station arrested him and sent him to the State Security Division of the Shihe District Police Department. He was secretly sentenced to three years in prison and sent to Zhengzhou Prison for persecution.
As a result of extended abuse and torture, Mr. Si Deli has lost most of his teeth. He has a difficult time eating his food. He has suffered injuries to his abdomen and has difficulty walking. His 93-year-old mother is very anxious and worries about when her son will finally return home.
