(Clearwisdom.net) Fellow practitioners in my family took the Chinese New Year holiday as a good opportunity to study the “Fa” at my home. We studied together for three days. We broke through the old forces’ arrangements and witnessed a miracle.
My grandfather is 83 years old and was critically ill just days ago. My parents returned to our hometown to help him. My mother spent a lot of effort in taking care of my grandfather and she had no time to have regular meals or sleep. However, she did not worry about her health and still took every opportunity to send forth righteous thoughts. In the meantime, my mother “clarified the truth” about Falun Gong to relatives and persuaded them to denounce the Communist Party. Eventually, five of my relatives denounced the party and my grandfather also recovered.
After my mother had been back home for several days, she manifested some symptoms of a cold. My father is a doctor and he often gave an injection to my mother if she had a fever. On the second day of her fever, my father insisted on giving my mother an intravenous injection. She passively accepted.
My sister and I felt upset because my mother did not upgrade her “xinxing” and get rid of the sickness karma. We could not maintain peaceful hearts. I felt huge pressure on me. The environment was negative. My sister lost her temper and my father was totally against us. He did not allow us to speak a word.
I suddenly thought that our negative mentalities were exactly what the old forces had created. I reminded myself about the persecution of practitioners in prisons. Though they had some shortcomings in their xinxing, everything would be rectified by the Fa. The old forces were not qualified to test Dafa and persecute practitioners. We should not acknowledge the arrangements. We should send forth righteous thoughts to disintegrate the old forces. Though my mother was at home, what is the difference between this and the persecution of practitioners in prisons? I suddenly realized that we should collectively improve our xinxing to break through these arrangements.
I then decided not to argue with my father and talked with him starting from the viewpoint of Master’s poem, “Don’t Be Sad” from Hongyin II. Upon hearing me talk about the persecution in prisons, my sister suddenly understood her shortcomings, so we shared with each other our understanding of Dafa and discussed our thoughts. We found our own shortcomings and reminded each other about the Fa we had not understood. We broke the barriers between us and abolished our bad thoughts. We all felt we were forming one strong unit. I could feel the pressure on me was disappearing. My father was not against us. After a half hour of sharing, my mother’s fever was gone. It was a miracle.
From that incident, I realized that as long as we collectively get rid of our selfishness, we can catch up with the Fa-rectification and break through the old forces’ arrangements. Our collective xinxing improvement and doing well with the “three things” are related to the salvation of countless sentient beings.
