On December 24, 2006, Falun Gong Practitioner Mo Xiaomei from Zengcheng City was illegally arrested by National Security police from the 610 Office, after police officers from Xining Police Station in Xintang Area of Zengcheng City ransacked her store. It has been 37 days since the incident. The police did not show a warrant or follow proper procedures in the search or arrest.
