(Clearwisdom.net) For the past days, I have been earnestly working on the three things according to Teacher's teaching, and I have been going out on the average of twice a day and two to three hours each time to clarify the truth to people.
One day feeling tired, I was contemplating skipping clarifying the truth and instead staying home to study the Fa and do the exercises. When I opened a page to read, the words "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be" appeared, and I immediately realized Teacher's intention. Teacher had me read this particular article to remind me that it is not time to relax yet:
"...cultivators of the past didn't dare to slack off for even a second, and that was when it took an entire lifetime to complete the journey. So how can Dafa disciples--who are to achieve the Attainment Status of a being who is saved by Dafa and who have the most convenient cultivation way--not be even more diligent when they are given this most glorious honor of Fa-validating cultivation in a brief cultivation period that passes in the blink of an eye?"
This especially jumped out at me.
I could no longer sit at home. My intention to relax was not a righteous one. It was a thought of desiring an ordinary person's comfort and fearing hardship, and it was a selfish intention. We are cultivators of the Fa-rectification period, and saving sentient beings is our prime duty, so I went out to clarify the truth to people.
I met many friendly people who were destined to hear the truth, and they thanked me for telling them the truth about Dafa. People riding on bikes smiled at me, and some were just waiting to hear about the truth.
I recorded names of people who opted to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) immediately after I arrived home, and I thought to myself that I had almost hurt these people's chances to be saved. In "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be," didn't Teacher ask us to conduct ourselves with higher and higher standards? With high spirits, I studied the Fa and did the exercises, and I felt uplifted. I was in a state more consistent with what was required of a practitioner of the Fa-rectification period. The three things must all be done well to complement one another.
I urge my fellow practitioners to read this scripture periodically to motivate us to work diligently.
