Officials in the Jiamusi City Prison deprived Mr. Shan Zhiping of sleep as of December 8, 2007, in order to try to "reform" him.

2. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhou Meixiang Held at the Qian'an County Detention Center

Personnel from the Qian'an County Yucheng Police Station arrested Ms. Zhou Meixiang from Songyuan City on November 27, 2007 when she distributed Falun Gong truth materials. She is presently being held at the county's detention center.

3. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Hunger-Striking Ms. Wang Yanjun in Perilous Condition

Ms. Wang Yanjun from Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, staged a persecution-protest hunger strike beginning December 1, 2007. Personnel from the county Ertaizi Detention Center force-fed her. She was subsequently near death and taken to a local hospital. Her husband had 1,000 yuan extorted from him.

4. [Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Baiquan City 610 Office policeman Zhu Qingyu and four others from the city's No. 2 Police Station broke into Ms. Du Xiao's home and ransacked the place the afternoon of December 7, 2007.

5. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Haibo and Ms. Tan Fengjiang Tortured in the City's Prison

Personnel from the Jiamusi City Prison make practitioners to do heavy work and torture those who refuse the forced-labor assignments. They hung Mr. Wang Haibo and Ms. Tan Fengjiang up in the prison's No.4 Division, No.3 Section, on December 8, 2007, because the two practitioners protested the persecution.

6. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Meng Fanxia, Ms. Zhang Chunying, Ms. Liu Xiuzhen and Mr. Ning Shubai Arrested

Ms. Meng Fanxia, Ms. Zhang Chunying, Ms. Liu Xiuzhen and Mr. Ning Shubai were followed and reported to police at 10:00 a.m. on November 29, 2007. Personnel from the Changsheng Police Station in Dongfeng District arrested them and took them to a detention center in the afternoon.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Fang Arrested

Ms. Liu Fang from the Dalian City Developmental District was arrested at the entrance to her home community at 8:00 a.m. on November 30, 2007. Personnel from the district's "610 Office" took her to the Yaojia Detention Center. Ms. Liu had been arrested and sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for a month in March 2007.

8. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yin Guirong Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Police arrested 67-year-old Ms. Yin Guirong a month ago. Personnel from the Sartu Prosecutorate secretly sentenced her to three years in prison. She is presently being held at the Harbin City Women's Prison.

9. [Shanghai] Ms. Feng Rongxia is Extremely Weak in the Songjiang Women's Prison

Ms. Feng Rongxia from New Pengpu Village in the Zhabei District of Shanghai is presently being held at the Shanghai Songjiang Women's Prison. Officials in the prison made her work from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and otherwise often abused her. She is extremely weak.

10. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Current Circumstances of Mr. Tan Shuyu; His Wife, Ms. Sun Yanmei; and Ms. Zhang Baoling

Mr. Tan Shuyu from the Shengcai District of the Shengli Oil Field is presently being persecuted at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. His wife, Ms. Sun Yanmei, had been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. She has since been released.

Ms. Zhang Baoling was sentenced to one year of forced labor and has been released.

11. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qiu Guiying Arrested

Daqinjia Town Government official and policemen arrested Ms. Qiu Guiying from her home and ransacked the place at 11:00 a.m. on December 5, 2007. Ms. Qiu is presently being held at the Linglongtai Brainwashing Center.

12. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lin Xiuzhu and Mr. Wu Zhangguo Arrested

Personnel from the Laiyang City National Security Division arrested Mr. Lin Xiuzhu and Mr. Wu Zhangguo from their workplaces on November 19 and 29, 2007, respectively. They were taken to a brainwashing center, followed by incarceration at a detention center. Police confiscated Mr. Wu's computer, a cellular phone, and 2,000 yuan cash.

Two officers from the Haocun Police Station arrested Mr. Qi Zhirong and took him to the Botou City Detention Center the afternoon of December 2, 2007.

Police arrested 49-year-old Ms. Xu Fengxia from Xianghe County, Weifang City, and ransacked her home on December 6, 2007.

Officials from the Shijiazhuang City Technology University dismissed second year undergraduate Mr. Shi Ruipeng. The reason might be that Mr. Shi read a Falun Gong truth clarification pamphlet.

Ms. Chen Baifang, 60 years old, was arrested from her home at the end of October 2007. Police ransacked her home and took her to a brainwashing center.

18. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Supplemental Information Regarding Practitioners Arrested on November 20, 2007

Personnel from the Jiaoling County 610 Office have arrested Ms. Zhu Yu from Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, several times since 2000. They had put her in forced labor camps and brainwashing centers. She later led a difficult life in Shenzhen City.

Personnel from the Luohu District Police Station in Shenzhen City arrested Ms. Zhu again at 6:00 p.m. on November 20, 2007. They confiscated her two computers and ransacked her home, but they found nothing. Ms. Zhu was held for 15 days and then released.

Police also had arrested the Mr. Lai Jiamiao and Ms. Lin Xingru, a married couple, from the county several times. They also moved to Shenzhen City. Personnel from the Futian District Police Department broke into their home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and some personal belongings. The couple is being held at the district's detention center.

19. [Chongqing] Ms. Feng Renrong Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Ms. Feng Renrong was arrested because someone reported her to the police. She was sent to the Dazhu County Detention Center and was released after a month of detention. Later, Ms. Feng explained the facts of Falun Gong to a local police station chief and persuaded him to denounce the Communist Party. She was sentenced to four years in prison.

20. [Nanning City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Mr. Guan Haibin Facing an Illegal Sentence

Personnel from the Nanning City National Security Division arrested the Mr. Guan Haibin and his wife, Ms. Xu Xiuchen, at 9:00 a.m. on August 29, 2007. They have been held at the Yuzhou District No.2 Detention Center since then.

Yulin City National Security Division agents had arrested the couple on June 26, 2007. They were just released 20 days prior to the current arrest.

21. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Zhihu Persecuted at the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp

Fifty-three-year-old Mr. Li Zhihu is an engineer from the Powder Metallurgy Institute of the Mid-Southern Technology University. Police arrested him at 8:00 a.m. on September 8, 2007, when he explained the facts of Falun Gong in a suburban Changsha City area. Police brutally beat him and ransacked his home at 8:00 p.m. that day. They confiscated his laptop computer, a printer, a copier, some Dafa books, and 400 yuan cash. He is presently being held in Changsha City's Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp.

22. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Mr. Chen Zhihui Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor and Presently Being Held at the Fuzhou City No.1 Detention Center

23. [Henan Province] Ms. Zheng Xiaoli Held with an Extended Term

Personnel from the Zhongyuan Oil Field Police Department arrested Ms. Zheng Xiaoli in early September 2007. Though she suffers from tuberculosis, she is still being held with an extended term.

24. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Ruiling Arrested

Personnel from the Junan County National Security Division arrested Ms. Chen Ruiling the afternoon of December 5, 2007. She is presently being held at the county's detention center. Police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer.

25. [Tianjin] Ms. Xie Ying from the Hedong District Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

26. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liang Ruimei Arrested, Her Family Has 4,000 Yuan Extorted from Them

Ms. Liang Ruimei from Zhupansan Village, Huanghua Town, Zhucheng City. has been released after a 20-day detention. The authorities extorted 4,000 yuan from her family.

27. [Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wang Meiling Arrested

Five officers including Li Guo from the Chuxiong City Police Department broke into Ms. Wang Meiling's home and ransacked it at 9:00 a.m. on December 4, 2007. They also arrested Ms. Wang.

28. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zheng Xin Arrested

Sixty-year-old retired teacher Ms. Zheng Xin and her husband mailed some Falun Gong truth clarification materials from her hometown, but someone recognized her handwriting and reported the couple. Personnel from the Rushan Police Department and from the Yantai City's Laishan Police Department colluded with security guards in the Green Garden Community, arrested the couple, and put them in the Fushan Detention Center. After having 5,000 yuan extorted from them, their daughter only got her father released, but the mother, Ms. Zheng, is still being held.

29. [Chongqing] Ms. Yu Rongshan Arrested

Personnel from the Chongqing City National Security Division and from the Nan'an District Police Station arrested Ms. Yu Rongshan from the Nan'an District in Chongqing City the morning of October 12, 2007. The arrest took place at the Nanya Furniture Mall in Shiqiaopu. Ms. Yu was then sent to the district's detention center. They held her there for 23 days and then transferred her into the Yubei District's Lushan Village Brainwashing Center. Seven days later, they took her back and put her in the Nan'an District Detention for four days, followed by incarceration at the Shimahe Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Yu was sentenced to two years. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer, some Dafa books, truth clarification materials, and a copy of Master's picture.

Personnel from the Jianqiao Township Police Station arrested Mr. Liu Jianxin on December 5, 2007. They beat him and then put him into the Fucheng City Police Department. Mr. Liu is presently being held at the city's detention center.

31. [Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province] Police Arrest Ms. Guo Shuling and Her Husband, Mr. Zhao Yonghei

Police arrested the Ms. Guo Shuling and Mr. Zhao Yonghai couple from Kaibei Village, Yanggang Township, Hulin City at 9:00 a.m. on December 4, 2007. They are presently being held at the Beishan Detention Center.

Ms. Feng Shuwen, in her 30s, is an employee from the Songyuan City's Changshan Thermoelectricity Factory. She was arrested on November 8, 2007.

Police arrested 60-year-old Ms. Hong Jun from Kelamayi City. She was sentenced to four years in prison at the city's court in November 2007 and is still being held in a prison.

35. [Chongqing] Ms. Luo Taixiu Taken to the Yongchuan District's Wangchengpo Detention Center

Someone reported Ms. Luo Taixiu from the Yongchuan District in Chongqing on December 7, 2007, when she explained the facts of Falun Gong. Personnel from the city's No.1 Section arrested her and put her in the district's Wangchengpo Detention Center.

36. [Qitaihe City Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Guoying Stages a Hunger Strike

Ms. Zhu Guoying, an employee from the Qitaihe City's Beixing Farm, has staged a persecution-protest hunger strike at the Hongxinglong Administration Bureau's Detention Center since December 4, 2007.

37. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Qiuxiang Arrested

Personnel from the Shuoguang City Police Department and from the Taitou Town Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Qiuxiang from Taitou Town and Ms. Gong Huijun from Beitaitou Village at 8:00 p.m. on December 7, 2007. They also harassed another practitioner in Beitaitou Village.

38. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Correction and Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrests of Mr. Chi Mingxiang and Mr. Song Lejun

Personnel from the Baishan City Hongqi Police Station arrested Mr. Chi Mingxiang and Mr. Song Lejun on December 5, 2007. They took Mr. Chi to his home and ransacked the place in the night. They confiscated a laptop computer, a printer, a paper cutter, and some blank paper, worth altogether more than 7,000 yuan. They broke into Mr. Song's home and confiscated a satellite TV receiver, two MP4 player,s and a Dafa book the morning of December 6, 2007. Mr. Chi and Mr. Song were put in the city's detention center on December 6, 2007.

40. [Tianjin] Persecution of Practitioners at the Dagang Women's Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Han Ruiqin was taken to the Dagang Women's Forced Labor Camp on March 4, 2007. Ms. Han staged a hunger strike, and guards then ordered her cell mates to force feed her and monitor her. They made her get up at 5:00 a.m. and only allowed her to sleep at 11:00 p.m. daily. Ms. Han lost a lot of weight.

Ms. Zheng Qinglan was also made to get up at 5:00 a.m. and only allowed to go to sleep at 11:00 p.m. daily.

The detention terms of Ms. Cheng Wenmin, Mr. Wang Xuejun, Ms. Zhang Huizhen, and Ms. Liu Zhaozhen were extended for refusing to give up Falun Gong practice. Some drug abusers made Ms. Kong Yucui sit on a small stool daily from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. They also put an unknown drug into Ms. Kong's food and force-fed her. The guards slapped her so hard that she lost a tooth.

41. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Liu Yuanfu

Six officers from the Mengyin County's Duozhuang Town Police Station arrested Mr. Liu Yuanfu from Duozhuang Town at 6:00 p.m. on November 29, 2007. Mr. Liu was held at the town's police station for a night and had 10,000 yuan extorted from him before he was released.

42. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Sifeng Held with an Extended Term

Mr. Zhang Sifeng had been held for a year on December 3, 2007. His family went to pick him up from Hewan Forced Labor Camp; however, police did not release him because he did not give up Falun Gong practice. They submitted Mr. Zhang's case to Hanyang District 610 Office head Ye Xinni and Jianqiao Street 610 Office head Zeng Yulin.

43. [Shandong Province] Linqu County Police Harass Practitioners

Personnel from the Linqu County Police Department, from the county's 610 Office and from the Zhifang Town Police Station colluded with Yinjiahe Village Party secretary Wang Chengzhi. They went to Mr. Wang Xingkai the afternoon of December 7, 2007, but Mr. Wang and his wife were not at home.

Personnel from the Tongzhou District Police Department arrested Ms. Wang Yuling and ransacked her home on October 15, 2007. She is presently being held at the district's detention center.

Nine practitioners have been arrested so far since January 2007.

46. [Lin'an City, Zhejiang Province] Police Arrest Ms. Xu Jinghua and Ms. Qian Zhilian

Lin'an City police arrested Ms. Xu Jinghua and Ms. Qian Zhilian from Lin'an City the morning of September 25, 2007. Lin'an City Political Security Section chief Yao Bin led some policemen and ransacked Ms. Xu and Ms. Qian's homes. They are presently being held at the city's detention center.

47. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Dianfen Admitted to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp

Personnel from the Huanghua Town Police Station arrested Ms. Sun Dianfen from Wole Village, Huanghua Town, Zhucheng City, the afternoon of November 8, 2007. Ms. Sun was held at the city's detention center for 20 days and then transferred to the Wangcun Village Forced Labor Camp in December 2007.

48. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuzhong Arrested

Seven officers from the Kuiwen District Police Department in Weifang City arrested Ms. Wang Xiuzhong from Gaojiadiantou Yuanzi Village at 2:00 p.m. on November 28, 2007. They confiscated all Dafa books. Her whereabouts are unknown.

49. [Henan Province] Mr. Yue Hanjun Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Mr. Yue Hanjun was arrested in June 2006 and then sentenced to four years in prison. He is presently being held at the Mi County Prison in Henan Province.

50. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Xia Arrested

Personnel from the Zichuan District Police Department's Domestic Security Division arrested 57-year-old Ms. Sun Xia, an employee from the Zichuan Coal Fuel Company, on November 20, 2007. Her whereabouts are unknown.

51. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Yunxia, Ms. He Guoping, and Ms. Xie Xiufang Facing Illegal Trials on December 10, 2007

52. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Police Arrest Ms. Meng Guizhi

Ms. Meng Guizhi, 56 years old, is a retired worker from the Chifeng City Construction Company. Police arrested her at the city's Bailiu Mall on November 27, 2007. Police ordered her to pay 30,000 yuan. Ms. Meng did not have the money and was sentenced to one year in prison. She has been taken to the Huhehaote City Prison.

53. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Fengying and Ms. Liu Run'e Put into a Detention Center

Ms. Wang Fengying and Ms. Liu Run'e from Sanjiao Village, Sanjiao Town, in the Xinfu District, Xinzhou City, were arrested and taken to the district's detention center on November 30, 2007.

54. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners from Mulan County were arrested the night of December 6, 2007, when they distributed copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. They are presently being held at the Yichun City's Shuangfeng Police Station.

55. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Persecution of Mr. Chen Youzhong

Personnel from the Zhuolu County Police Department's National Security Division arrested Mr. Chen Youzhong from Jiubao Village, Zhuolu County on September 29, 2007. The arrest happened when Mr. Chen installed a satellite TV receiver for a customer. They put him in the county's police department and tortured him with the tiger bench. Later on they took Mr. Chen to the county's detention center. Mr. Chen staged a hunger strike on October 13, 2007. He was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. Mr. Chen was in a perilous condition on November 9, 2007. Personnel from the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp notified his family to take him home.

56. [Gansu Province] A Number of Practitioners Held in Lanzhou City Prison

Practitioners who are being held in Lanzhou City Prison include: Mr. Jin Jilin, Ms. Luo Xiufen, Mr. Jiang Chunbin, Mr. Yang Xuegui, Mr. Wang Youjiang, Mr. Wang Yongbo, Mr. Su Anzhou, Mr. Wei Junren, Ms. Jiang Minghui, Mr. Shao Yanbo, Mr. Li Mingyi, Mr. He Jianzhong, and Mr. Wei Anyu.

57. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Yinming Arrested

Mr. Zhang Yinming was arrested from his home on September 28, 2007, and sentenced to one year and nine months of forced labor. He was admitted to Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing in November 2007.

58. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Police Harass Ms. Xu Guiqing

Police arrested 58-year-old Ms. Xu Guiqing, a nurse, and took her to Baishishan Detention Center on July 28, 2007. Ms. Xu manifested some disease symptoms. Her family paid 3,000 yuan and bailed her out for hospitalization. Police later often harassed Ms. Xu at her home. Police at one time attempted to extort her 2,000 yuan, but Ms. Xu refused their illegal request.
