A Solemn Declaration
Because the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) propaganda poisoned my mind since I was little, I was an atheist for a long time. I was irritated when I saw my mother paying respect to a Buddha statue. In 1995 when I heard that my younger siblings had started practicing Falun Gong, a Buddha school cultivation practice, I was very upset and regarded them as ignorant. I often hurt their feelings with nasty remarks. As soon as I heard the word "Buddha," I would start cursing. As a result, I have met with karmic retribution for the past few years. I have had very poor health. In fact, I have had nine surgeries in the past few years, but I refused to accept that it was because of my blasphemous remarks about Falun Gong. Not long ago I finally read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and realized that the wicked CCP is against the universe and humanity. Now that I know the CCP especially persecutes good people, I will not believe in the CCP any longer. In fact, I shall steer away from the CCP. I do solemnly declare all of my previous words and deeds against Falun Gong or Teacher to be null and void. I believe that Falun Gong is good and I support Falun Gong. I shall make up for the mistakes I have made.

A Solemn Declaration
One of my relatives is a Falun Gong practitioner who has been unlawfully imprisoned twice. I have visited her in prison. The wicked prison guards lay Teacher's photos on the floor and forced every visitor to step on the photos. I, too, did it. I have always felt bad about what I did. Falun Gong is a righteous cultivation practice. The Teacher of Falun Gong has come to save the world's people, but I tread on photos of him. I do solemnly declare that all the disrespectful deeds I have done were against my will. I now declare them to be null and void. I humbly beg Teacher's forgiveness. From now on I shall tell people that Falun Gong is good in order to make up for the mistake I made.

For a very long time I didn't believe in Falun Gong due to the CCP's poisonous atheistic propaganda. As a result, I often made disrespectful remarks about Falun Gong. I even burned my family's Falun Gong books to stop them from practicing. I committed a terrible sin by burning those books. After I read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I saw through the CCP's wicked nature and learned that those who follow the CCP will meet the same doom as it will ultimately. Hence, I do solemnly declare all my words and deeds against Falun Gong and Teacher to be null and void. I believe that Falun Gong is good, and I support Falun Gong. I shall make up for the mistakes I have made.
