(Clearwisdom.net) The 2007 Malaysia Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held on October 28, 2007 at The Royale Bintang Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Practitioners from all over Malaysia and neighboring countries, including Singapore, attended the conference. About 20 practitioners shared their cultivation experiences with the audience. The topics included how to do the three things well, how to take the initiative to form different projects to clarify the facts and stop the persecution, how to improve xinxing and other subjects. The practitioners' experience sharing helped foster mutual understanding and improvement as a whole.

Mr. Peng from Kuala Lumpur shared with the audience his experience of setting up the Malaysia Divine Land Marching Band. In May 2007, the Taiwan Divine Land Marching Band, comprised of more than 150 practitioners, came to Malaysia to give a performance. The touching and powerful effect inspired practitioners in Malaysia to form the Malaysia Divine Land Marching Band. Recalling his cultivation in the Divine Land Marching Band during the past several months, Mr. Peng felt he benefited tremendously. He said at the beginning of practicing Falun Gong several years ago, he could feel great positive changes both physically and mentally. But in the ensuing years, he felt he had not made much progress. He understood that he did not keep up in validating the Fa. While cultivating in the Divine Land Marching Band, he could easily spot the shortcomings of fellow practitioners, and also could find many of his own shortcomings. He looked within in a timely manner and improved quite a lot.
Practitioner Ms. Su also shared her cultivation experience. In order to participate in the National Day celebration parade in Sabah, Malaysia's second largest state and northernmost province, fellow practitioners in the Divine Land Marching Band continuously practiced one piece of music, "Falun Dafa is Good," for about two months. The band's non-practitioner coach said that no bands that he had taught were able to perform a piece of music in two months--not to mention that these practitioners were only beginners. Unfortunately, the practitioners' band was unable to take part in the parade in Sabah, due to interference from the Chinese Communist Party's special agents. However, this incident provided an opportunity for practitioners in Sabah to clarify the facts to local government organizations.
Mr. Zhao shared his experiences while participating in a media project, how he broke through his attachments to depending on others and seeking comfort, and took the initiative to work as an editor. He understood that using the media to clarify the facts to the public plays an important role in saving sentient beings. A large number of people have learned first-hand information about the persecution of Falun Gong from the media started by practitioners.
A Malay practitioner, Maznah, talked about how Dafa changed her life in just one year. She said before practicing Falun Gong, when encountering any trouble, she would always blame others, and feel that she was always right. If she was right, she would never let others take the upper hand. During a period of time, unfortunate things happened to her one after another, despite a sense of calm and peace that she had never experienced before. After practicing the first four sets of exercises for just two months, the numbness in her left arm disappeared. Later on, fellow practitioners told her to read "Zhuan Falun." She was unable to describe how shocked she was by reading the book. She deeply felt that this is what she has been looking for her whole life! She became a different person, and she no longer takes revenge on whoever offends her as she did before. She treats others with tolerance. Even if others treat her badly, she forgives them, because she knows all this involves karmic relationships. Her family also changed. She has also been offered a new job as a counselor.
Mr. Yang from Johor, Malaysia began practicing Falun Gong in 1998. He shared with the audience how he has taken many detours during the past nine years of cultivation practice because he did not treat cultivation seriously. He had a conflict with a fellow practitioner in 1999, and then left cultivation in Dafa for three years. Then in 2002, when a fellow practitioner gave him some truth clarification materials, he suddenly realized that there were so many things that had taken place in those three years that he did not know of. When he returned home to read Falun Dafa books, he felt Master did not give up on him, thus, he gradually returned to cultivation in Falun Dafa, and reconciled his previous conflicts. His wife also started practicing Falun Gong.
Several other practitioners shared how they broke through their attachments to fear and comfort and how they stepped forward to clarify the facts and dispel the general public's misunderstanding of Falun Dafa due to the poisonous effect of the CCP's lies.
Ms. Li talked about her experience of clarifying the facts to the Chinese tourists at a tourist site. Once, she met a stubborn Chinese tourist: he not only refused to listen to her, but also threatened to film her with his camcorder. Ms. Li did not have fear. She took out a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and spoke to the tourist's camcorder saying the following: "Dear friends who can see this video, what I'm holding in my hand is the book named the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. This book exposes how the CCP has utilized lies and violence to carry out state-terrorism in China. In the past 50 years, the CCP has launched political campaigns one after another; as a result, more than 80 million Chinese people have died unnaturally. ..." The tourist was stunned. He had thought Ms. Li would be afraid of what the CCP might do to her; he did not expect that she would clarify the facts in front of his camcorder. He was scared and immediately turned his camera away. Ms. Li walked up to him and said, "You must take this video back and show your friends and relatives, let them see that people around the world are practicing Falun Gong."
The Fa conference concluded at 5:00 p.m. The coordinator, Mr. Yang, attributed the success of the Fa conference to practitioners' good coordination and cooperation. Practitioners are becoming more and more mature.
