(Clearwisdom.net) On July 13, 2007, perpetrators from the 610 Office and the National Security Division of Nan County, Hunan Province, once again broke into Liu Kaihua's home. Several men forcibly dragged the 60-year-old Liu to the police car. They deceived her by saying, "We will take you to the police station to discuss some things." She was "illegally detained" in the brainwashing center in the Yiyang District and mentally traumatized there. She asked Master to help strengthen her righteous thoughts and she managed to freeze two policemen and walk free. She has been destitute ever since then.
Ms. Liu Kaihua is from Nan County, Hunan Province. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1996 and has benefited both physically and mentally. After Jiang's regime started the persecution of Falun Gong, she went to Beijing to validate the Fa and clarify the facts in August 2000. However, she was arrested in Beijing and detained at the custodial station there for six days. Police from the 610 Office and the Nan County Public Security Bureau brought her back and took her to the custodial station, where she was detained for 17 days.
When Ms. Liu went to Beijing to validate the Fa with another practitioner for the second time, she was detained for 38 months at the Nan County Custodial Station. In less than six months after she was released, more than 20 people from the National Security Division of Nan County broke into her home and illegally arrested her. She was detained at the custodial station overnight and was then sent to the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp where she suffered even more persecution.
Guards in the labor camp tried to forcibly "transform" her. Ms. Liu refused to write the so-called three statements. She was beaten, sworn at, and deprived of sleep for five days. She was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor.
In October 2005 when Ms. Liu was "clarifying the truth" about Falun Gong on the street, she came across a Communist Party village official who reported her to the police. She was taken to the county public security bureau. Her home was ransacked and all of her books were confiscated. She was sentenced to another six months of forced labor. She was severely persecuted in the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp.
Liu was sent directly to the Strict Surveillance Division at Baimalong. The inmates there kicked and beat her. They attacked her with chairs and stools and they also stabbed her with needles. They tortured her like this for over 20 days until she went into a coma and nearly died. The guards instigated drug addict inmates to try to force her to write the three statements. One day the guards discovered her doing the Falun Gong exercises. They locked her in a room so that the sounds of their beatings couldn't be heard. Then three or four guards kicked her, beat her, and stabbed her face and mouth with needles until she fainted and fell to the ground. After she came to, they forced her to go downstairs to carry water.
Liu Tianhua shouted "Falun Dafa hao" (Falun Dafa is good) every day. In order to shut her up, the guards sent over ten drug addict inmates to hold her down on the ground, put a dirty towel in her mouth, and then sealed her mouth and nose with layers of tape. It was a hot summer. The perpetrators put her through a torture known as "Bone-Lock Clothes." They forcibly put "Bone-Lock Clothes" on her and she was unable to move. Then they handcuffed her hands behind her back.
The guards forced Ms. Liu to wear the "Bone-Lock Clothes" several times, and they savagely beat her. One day she refused to do the prison exercises. Policeman Shi Yongqing instigated drug addict inmates to beat her till her nose and mouth bled and there was blood all over. Then they forcibly took off Liu's bloody clothes and dumped them into a trash bin.
One day, Ms. Liu refused to clean in order to protest the illegal detention. Female guard Ning Li called her to the office and kicked her with her sharp-pointed leather shoes until her shoes were worn out. She then ordered Ms. Liu to reimburse her for the cost of the shoes. Female guard He Yulian tore off a big piece of flesh from Liu's hand. She then put Master's photo underneath Ms. Liu and tried to force her to sit on it. She used every cruel method she could think of to insult Master and persecute Dafa practitioners.
