(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners Ms. Yue Wenhua, Ms. Gao Zhijun, and Ms. He Xuehua from Nanchong City, Sichuan Province were illegally arrested and taken to the city's brainwashing center. In September 2007, Ms. Gao Zhijun was detained and then transferred to the city's detention center.

Ms. Yue Wenhua, 70, is a retiree from the Guoyuanxiang Food & Beverage Company in Nanchong City. The police had her under surveillance for a long time before her arrest.

At approximately 7 a.m. on August 23, 2007, Han Daxing, a director at the Honghua Street Residential Committee, was waiting outside Ms. Yue's residence complex. Shortly after Ms. He Xuehua, a 50-year-old farmer from Xinjiang Township, Nanchong City arrived at Ms. Yue's home, Ms Yue's husband heard a knock on the door. He opened the door to find two people that claimed to be from the National Security Department but did not show any identification. They came in, wrote something down on a piece of paper, and tried to get her husband to sign it. He refused.

Then about six people rushed in to ransack and search their home. Ms. Yue's husband went into his bedroom and locked himself inside. The intruders pried open the door and took away Ms. Yue's Dafa books and materials. Afterwards, they attempted to arrest Ms. Yue and her husband, who lost consciousness.

Shortly after 10 a.m., Ms. Gao, a 30-year-old resident of Xinjian Township, Nanchong City, walked by Ms Yue's apartment. She was stopped and detained by the police.

At approximately 11 a.m., police from the National Security Department seized Ms. Gao, Ms. Yue Wenhua and Ms. He Xuehua and took them to the 610 Office. According to Han Daxing, the officers involved were from the Nanchong City government, the Shunqing District National Security Department, the District Political and Legal Commission and the Honghua Street District Residential Committee.

At around 4 p.m. on August 23, six people led by Du Weijia and Zhang Youxuan forced their way into Ms. Gao's home and took away her computer. On August 25 at around 10 a.m., several people led by Du Weijia and Zhang Youxuan broke into two other apartments that Ms. Gao's family owned and ransacked them. The noise woke up Ms. Gao's brother, who confronted the intruders. They claimed that they were there to pick up some clothing for Ms. Gao. While they were there, they also took away Ms. Gao's identification card. Ms. Gao Zhijun, Ms. Yue Wenhua and Ms. He Xuewei were interrogated for three days before they were sent to the brainwashing center.

In the morning of August 25, Ms. Gao's parents went to see Yu Xiangming, director of the Shunqing District 610 Office, and demanded Ms. Gao's release. Yu refused to talk to them on that day, as well as the next day, when they came to see him again.

Ms. Gao's parents went to see Du Weijia, Deputy Captain of the Shunqing District National Security Squad, and asked for the computer back. Du refused to return the computer and demanded, "We just searched your house a few days ago and now we are on the Minghui website. How did this happen?" When Mr. Gao suggested that he not persecute Falun Gong, Du Weijia said, "How dare you promote Falun Gong in here? We will arrest you if you continue!"

Towards the end of September, Ms. Gao was detained again and transferred to a detention center. On September 30 at around 11 a.m., a dozen or so people from the Honghua Street District Neighborhood Center, the District 610 Office, and the Xicheng Police Station went to Gao Zhijun's home to arrest him. Fortunately, no one was home at the time.

Perpetrators of the persecution:

Han Daxing works at the Honghua Street Neighborhood, Xicheng, Shunqing District, Nanchong City. He is 60 years old and from the No.3 Group, No.3 village, Xinjian Township, Shunqining District, Nanchong City, and currently lives in the Nanchong City Experimental Elementary School. Since 2006, he has been involved in monitoring and harassing practitioners, ransacking their homes, and coercing them to write guarantee statements to give up Falun Gong. Among those who suffered because of him are Han Guangrong, Li Xiaofang, Ms. Yue Wenhua, Ms. He Xuehua and Ms. Gao Zhijun's family.
