1. [Laiyuan County, Hebei Province] Follow up Report on the Illegal Arrest of Mr. Li Zhanzhong

At around 10:00 a.m. on September 28, 2007 when practitioner Mr. Li Zhanzhong from Laiyuan County was working in front of a snooker parlor at Qishan Market, police from the Baoding City National Security Division, led by police from the Laiyuan County National Security Team, arrested him and sent him to a brainwashing center run by the Baoding National Security Division.

On October 8, 2007, Mr. Li 's mother went to the Laiyuan County Police Department and requested the release of her son. Mr. Li's younger brother, Mr. Li Zhanming, who is also a practitioner, was worried that his mother's heart illness would recur so he went to the National Security Team to look after his mother. However, he was also arrested and body searched. The police confiscated his ID card and phone book.

2. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Practitioners Ms. Gao Yuqin and Ms. Zhang Xiulan

On September 25, 2007, practitioners Ms. Gao Yuqin and Ms. Zhang Xiulan, both farmers from Erzhan, Muling City went to other villages to hand out truth-clarification materials. They were reported by local villagers and arrested by policemen from the Hexi Township Police Station. They were released around noon of the same day. On the morning of September 27, policemen from Hexi Police Police Station arrested Ms. Gao Yuqin and Ms. Zhang Xiulan once again. At the moment the two practitioners are subjected to persecution inside the detention center. Ms. Gao Yuqin has been on hunger strike for several days and is force fed every day. She is also given unknown injections.

3. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhou Huimin Arrested--Her Home Ransacked

In the evening of October 11, policemen from Lingshan Police Station of Anshan City arrested practitioner Ms. Zhou Huimin and ransacked her home. Now she is being held at Anshan City No. 1 Detention Center.

4. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Some Facts about the Persecution of Practitioner Mr. Deng Shaosong

Practitioner Mr. Deng Shaosong, from Maoming City, Guangdong Province is now held at the Maoming City No. 1 Detention Center after being sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment.

On September 30, 2007, practitioners Mr. He Yanwei, Mr. Lin Yuefeng, Ms. Dai Yuzhen and Ms. Laio Huihua from Shalang Township, Maoming City are "illegally detained" at the Zaitou No. 2 Detention Center of Dianbai County.

On October 10, 2007, policemen from Chencun Township, Dianbai County, Maoming City broke into practitioner Ms. Deng Bi's home and searched everywhere in an attempt to find some excuse for her arrest.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Ren Xiangdong Arrested and Taken to Yangyuan Brainwashing Center

On October 11, 2007, practitioner Mr. Ren Xiangdong from Wuhan City was summoned out of the workshop by staff from the security department of Yudahua Limited, Wuhan City where he worked. He was then arrested by policemen from the National Security Division and the Jiyuqiao Police Station and taken to Yangyuan Brainwashing Center in Wuhan.

At around 10 a.m. on October 11, 2007, policemen from the National Security Division of Wuchang Police Sub-department and Jiyuqiao Police Station broke into Ren Xiangdong's home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, Teacher's portraits, a computer, a printer and blank media. The policemen took photos of the scene.

Now at home there are Mr. Ren's mother and his wife who is about to give birth. They are left with no source of income.

6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Ms. Su Xiumei and Ms. Liu Limin Arrested

At 1:00 p.m. on October 9, 2007, practitioners Ms. Su Xiumei and Ms. Liu Limei were arrested by policemen from Zhengda Police Station in Linghe District, Jinzhou City while handing out truth-clarification materials. On the morning of October 10, the two practitioners were escorted to Jinzhou City No. 2 Detention Center.

7. [Boli County, Heilongjiang Province] Facts about the Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Xin Shrong

In the morning of June 14, 2002, policemen from Qitaihe Security Bureau, in collaboration with policemen from Boli County and the 610 Office forced their way into Ms. Xin Shurong's home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, portraits of Teacher, two high speed printers, a transcript machine, a photo copier, a cassette recorder and some other items.

When Ms. Xin Shurong was escorted to the Traffic Division, policemen from Chengxi Police Station tied Ms. Xin up in a "forced backbend" position (1). She was unable to move. The policemen took turns interrogating her. At 3:00 p.m. Ms. Xin Shurong lost consciousness and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment. Thereafter, Ms. Xin was transferred to Boli County Detention Center. In the afternoon of July 31, 2002, Ms. Xin showed the symptoms of myocardial infarction and was released on bail for medical treatment. However, in less than two weeks after her release the policemen attempted to arrest her again. She had no choice but to leave home and become homeless in order to avoid being arrested.

8. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Huilin Arrested

On October 2, practitioner Ms. Zhang Huilin from Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province was arrested. The policemen did not allow her family to visit her. Ms. Zhang's home was ransacked. Her mobile phone and some other items were confiscated.

9. [Heilongjiang Province] Crimes Committed at Hulan Prison

The prison guards at Yulan Prison's "Intensive Training Center" in Heilongjiang Province forced the practitioners to write the "Four Statements" (giving up Falun Gong practice and appealing for the right to practice openly and freely, among other promises). Whoever refused to do so would be kicked and punched or forced to stand for 24 hours-a-day as corporal punishment. The guards also slandered Falun Dafa with false reasoning and heresy.

Practitioner Ms. Chen Lei was forced to stand for 27 days, Mr. Li Ke about 10 days and Mr. Chu Jingyuan 5 days. Mr. Chu was forced to stand for another 12 days for refusing to fill out questionnaires and then forced to form a sitting chain with others. (In this style of torture, one's chest is forced tightly against the back of another person, with the legs spread apart. Talking is forbidden.) Practitioners who were forced to stand for a long time also included Mr. Zhao Jiulong, Mr. Yang Chengshan who was badly beaten up, Ms. Yang Yongying, Mr. Li Hongkuai, Ms. Chen Lei, Mr. Yu Liangbin and Mr. Li Ge. Among them Ms. Chen Lei was forced to stand for a month.

Practitioner Ms. Yang Yongying from Hegang did not cooperate with the police's arrangements after being transferred to Harbin Prison to Hulan Prison. Now she is been under "strict control."

10. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Mr. Xiao Gao and Mr. Xiao Mou Arrested

At around 2:00 p.m. on October 11, 2007 policemen from Weifang City ransacked Aiping Printing Shop and arrested Mr. Xiao Gao and Mr. Xiao Mou. The police confiscated private property, including computers and printers.

11. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Ma Xiaolan Has Been arrested

In the early morning of October 9, 2007, practitioner Ms. Ma Chunlan from Shengcheng Neighborhood, Shouguang City was arrested by the city's 610 Office and her whereabouts are still unknown.

12. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Qingyan and Ms. Zhou Hong Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Wang Qingyan and Ms. Zhou Hong was reported and arrested by the police from Erdaojiang Township Police Station on September 2, 2007 while clarifying the truth.

Ms. Zhou Hong was sentenced to two years of forced labor and Ms. Wang Qingyan 15 months by Erdaojiang Police Sub-department, Tonghua City. They were escorted to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp on October 9, 2007. The forced labor camp refused to take Ms. Zhou Hong in since she failed to pass the health exam. She was returned home on the same day.

13. [Anhui Province] Several Practitioners Were Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Center by Anqing City 610 Office on October 9, 2007

14. [Xian County, Hebei Province] Policemen Broke into Private Homes And Ransacked the Houses

On October 9, 2007, seven or eight policemen from Xian County National Security Division in Hebei Province ransacked Mr. Lu Wanjie's home. They ransacked practitioner Ms. Ran Yafeng's home on October 12.

15. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Nine Practitioners

On August 30, 2007, nine practitioners were arrested by Panjin National Security Division. The arrestees included Mr. Liu Hongpu, Mr. Li Jianguo and Mr. Meng Qinghui, who was sentenced to three years of forced labor. All were sent to Benxi Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Zhang Ying, Mr. Zhang Hua, Mr. Li Xiufeng, Mr. Zhang Kunshu, Mr. Li Fusheng and Mr. Xun Zhencai have now returned home.

At 10:20 p.m. on September 5, 2007 practitioner Ms. Zhao Liyan from Panjin City was harassed by city police. She was forced to leave home and become homeless to avoid being arrested.

16. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Yang Ming Arrested

On October 9, 2007, practitioner Mr. Yang Ming was arrested by Baiyun Street Police Station, Xigang District. His whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Tian Limei And Two Other Practitioners Arrested

On September 28, 2007, practitioner Ms. Tian Limei from Jinshandun District, Yichun City was arrested. In October, practitioners Ms. Wang Baoyu and Ms. Liu Chunli were arrested.

18. [Lanxi County, Heilongjiang Province] Lanxi County Police Department Has Transferred Practitioner Ms. Liu Sansan back to Lanxi Detention Center from Suihua Detention Center

19. [Liaoning Province] Recent Information on the Persecution of Practitioners Mr. Lang Qingsheng And Mr. Zhang Qinggui

Practitioners Mr. Lang Qingsheng and Mr. Zhang Qinggui, who were persecuted at Benxi Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province have been secretly escorted back to Donggang City recently. The Donggang Court and the Donggang Procuratorate are plotting to re-sentence these two practitioners.

20. [Ningchangtu County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Qu Mingjun Has Been Transferred to Benxi Forced Labor Camp for Further Persecution

On October 28, 2006, policemen from Henan Police Station, Changtu County, Liaoning Province arrested practitioners Mr. Qu Mingjun, Ms. Hao Yaru and Ms. Wang Shuqing in the name of group appeal. On December 6, Mr. Qu Mingjun was transferred to Tieling Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Hao Yaru and Ms. Wang Shuqing were escorted to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Since they failed the entrance health exam the two practitioners were released on the same day.

21. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Ms. Song Xiuyu and Ms. Liu Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Song Xiuyu, 67 years old was a retired teacher from Muling City No. 3 High School. She was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment and held at Harbin Women's Prison.

At about 7:30 p.m. on October 10, 2007 policemen Sun Delong and Lu Zhenhua from Muling City No. 2 Police Station and Cui Xingguo from the National Security Division asked Ms. Song Xiuyu's neighbors to trick her into opening the door. Then the policemen ransacked her home. They confiscated all the Falun Dafa books and the truth-clarification materials they found, arrested Ms. Song and locked her up at the Muling City Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Liu from Muling City is 78 years old. At noon on October 11, 2007 policemen from the city's No. 2 Police Station arrested her from home. Now Ms. Liu is held at the Muling City Detention Center.

22. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Practitioners Mr. Hu Yuxian, Ms. Li Yuqin and Ms. Li Xiaoyan Arrested

In July 2007 practitioner Mr. Hu Yuxian from Siping City was illegally detained at Gongzhuling City Detention Center. Practitioner Mr. Qiang Yongshen's wife who is also a practitioner and practitioner Ms. Li Xiaoyan from Lishu County are now detained at Shuangliao City Detention Center.

23. [Anda City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Lixia Has been Held Past Release Date

Practitioner Ms. Liu Lixia from Anda City was reported and arrested while clarifying the facts at Yinneng Residential Area, Anda City on October 2, 2004 and was held at Anda City Detention Center. In November 2004 she was transferred to Shuanghe Forced Labor Camp in Qiqihar City. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor and her term of forced labor expired on October 2, 2007. However since she still hasn't "renounced" Falun Dafa, the forced labor camp extended her detention for another 100 days.

24. [Yingkou City Liaoning Province] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Mr. Duan Dechen

On October 12, 2007, practitioner Mr. Duan Dechen from Yingkou City, Liaoning Province was arrested at Harbin Railway Station by the local police station on his way to Suiling County in Heilongjiang Province. He was then transferred to the National Security Division of the Harbin Railway Police Department.

25. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] A Dozen or so Practitioners Have Been Arrested

On September 28, 2007, the 610 Office and police department of each city and county of Shuangyashan City harassed the practitioners and arrested a dozen or so practitioners. They include:

Ms. Wu Yuejix, Mr Zhang Guoyi from Baoshan District, now held at Shuangyashan Detention Center
Ms. Shao Guilan, Ms. Jia Guilan, Mr. Han Changgui, Mr. Song Decai from Baoqing County
Ms. Qi Guoying, Ms. Zhang Chunyan, Mr. Du Baiyang, now held at Shuangyashan Detention Center

26. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Lin Yusen Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Lin Yusen, over 40 years old, was arrested while handing out truth-clarification materials at Baoshan Mine in August 2007

27. [Beijing City] Practitioner Xu Chengzao and Zhang Ziyun Arrested

At around 11:00 a.m. on October 13, 2007, practitioner Mr. Xu Chengzao from Shunyi District was taken away by Shengli Police Station and his home was ransacked.

At 10:00 a.m. on the same day, practitioner Mr. Zhang Ziyun was arrested in the street by plainclothes police and his home was ransacked.

28. [Tianjin City] Additional Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Xu Zhihong

Arrested together with Ms. Xu Zhihong in the evening of October 9, 2007, were Ms. Xun Xueshuang, Ms. Zhou Huarong, Ms. Qu Jie and Ms. Zhang Jie.

29. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Xiao Youxue from Honghua Township, Tancheng County Has Been Arrested And His Whereabouts Are Unknown

30. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaoshen And Several Other Practitioners Arrested

At around 2:00 p.m. on October 11, policemen from Weifang Police Department and the National Security Division arrested Mr. Wang Xiaoshen and his wife Ms. Jiao Meifeng from Weifang Information School. Ms. Ma Longshi and Mr. Gao Jilong, the two employees of the printing shop owned by the couple were also arrested. The police stole all the computers and printers.

31. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Fu Yunxiang Arrested

On October 5, 2007 depraved officials from the 610 Office and policemen from Wanjia Township Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Fu Yunxiang and ransacked her home. The perpetrators confiscated items like computers and printers. They asked her family to pay 10 thousand yuan if they wanted to get Ms. Fu released.

32. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Shumei Arrested

At 9:00 p.m. October 8, 2007, four policemen from Yinma Township Police Station broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Li Shumei from Wu Gou Village, Yinma Township, Changyi County, Weifang City. They arrested her and ransacked her home on the following day.

33. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Mr. Liang Hongzhong and Ms. Fang Guizhi Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Liang Hongzhong, 59, and Ms. Fang Guizhi, 63, from Liangjia Village, Mucun Township, Fangzi District, Weifang City were reported by the village Party secretary on October 22, 2007. They were subsequently arrested by the National Security Division of the Fangzi Police Sub-department in Weifang City, as well as agents from the 610 Office and the local police station. The depraved officials confiscated 2,000 yuan in cash, Falun Dafa books, a television set, satellite antenna and other items.

34. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Huiyan Arrested

On the evening of October 4, 2007 practitioner Ms. Wang Huiyan, lecturer from Yantai University planned to go to Beijing to prepare things for his son's wedding and was arrested by Laishan District 610 Office. He is now being held at Xingfu Brainwashing Center.

35. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Chen Shumei Has Been Arrested

On October 11, police from the Yunhe Police Sub-department of Changzhou City arrested Ms. Chen Shumei and ransacked her home. The evildoers confiscated a computer and Falun Dafa books. Now Ms. Chen Shumin is held at Changzhou Detention Center.

On October 12-13, policemen from Qian'an Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Zhao Minghua (her husband Mr. Li Yankui, also a practitioner, was arrested by the police a few days ago) and practitioner Ms. Zhou Huirong. Practitioner Ms. Wang Yanrong was forced to leave home and become homeless to avoid being persecuted.

37. [Zhuozhou, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Dong Hanjie And Eight Other Practitioners Arrested

On October 12, 2007, practitioners Ms. Dong Hanjie, Ms. Xin Junhua, Ms. Liu Wen, Mr. Ren Baokun and Ms Li Ru were arrested by officers from the National Security Devision. The evildoers also ransacked the homes of Ms. Xin Juhua and Ms. Dong Hanjie.

38. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Jiang Qiulai and Several Other Practitioners Arrested

In the early morning of October 10, 2007, practitioners Ms. Jiang Qiulai, Mr. Li Yuezong, Ms. Sui Wenxiang and Mr. Han Wenzong were arrested by Renqiu and Wen'an Police Departments when practicing the five sets of exercises. A satellite antenna, a TV set, books and some other items were confiscated.

39. [Anping County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Xiaobing And Several Other Practitioners Taken into Custody

On October 11, 2007, a dozen or so officers from Anping County Police Department ransacked Mr. Xiao Bing's home and took away a lap-top, a printer, ten Falun Dafa books, an MP3 player, a PC card and ten reams of paper and illegally arrested Mr. Xiao Bing.

Practitioner Ms. Dajuan, over 60 years old, was arrested by Tangfeng Township Political and Judicial Committee, Shen Zhen City.

40. [Renqiu, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Shezhen Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Wang Shuzhen, in her sixties, from Renqiu North China's Petroleum Administrative Bureau, was arrested on October 12 and her home was ransacked. She is now being held at the bureau's detention center. Ms. Wang is on a hunger strike to protest the illegal arrest.

41. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Practitioner Mr. Huang Liansheng Arrested at the End of September, 2007

42. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Mr. Zang Hong Was Arrested by the National Security Police in October, 2007

Note:

(1) Forced back-bend position - This is a very painful form of torture, in which one arm is reaching down the back behind the head and the other hand meets it from the lower back. The two hands are tied together in this position, causing intense pain.
