At around 4:00 p.m on September 24, 2007, staff from the Xiangfan 610 Office broke into several practitioners' homes claiming they needed to take a census. They confiscated practitioners' computers, Falun Dafa books, and other personal belongings. They also illegally arrested practitioners Ms. Qiu Laxiang, Mr. Cheng Xiaobao, Gao Xiang, and others.
2. [Chiping County, Shandong, Province] Mr. Qu Yutian Arrested
On October 4, 2007, practitioner Mr. Qu Yutian of Xiaozhuang Village, Chiping County, was arrested because he practices Falun Gong. He is currently in the Chiping County Detention Center.

3. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Elderly Practitioner Zhang Cifang Taken Away by the Longquanyi District 610 Office
At around noon on September 30, 2007, Ms. Zhang Cifang from the Longquanyi District was taken away by agents of the Longquanyi District 610 Office. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Luzhou, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liang Wende Arrested
In early October 2007, Luzhou practitioner Mr. Liang Wende was arrested at home by the police and his home was ransacked.
Lantian practitioner Ms. Gao Xianying was taken into custody by the Zhongwan Community and Police Station and her home was also ransacked.
5. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Bing Illegally Arrested by Security Police at Shenzhen
In September 2007, practitioner Ms. Li Bing was taken away against her will by security police in Shenzhen. She is now being held at a detention center.
6. [Gaotang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Guizheng Arrested and Detained at the Gaotang Detention Center
In late September 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhao Guizheng was arrested by the police and is now detained at the Gaotang Detention Center.
7. [Linghai City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Mei Arrested
On October 4, 2007, police officers from Jincheng Branch Police Station in Linghai City broke into practitioner Ms. Liu Mei's home, ransacked it, and then took her to the police station. The police also confiscated two boxes of printer paper, blank CDs, Dafa books, truth-clarification CDs and other materials. Ms. Liu Mei is over 60 years old.
8. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Da Zhang Taken Into Custody
On the evening of October 2, 2007, practitioner Mr. Da Zhang of Jidong County was arrested and his home ransacked. He is currently in the local detention center.
9. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Pan Desheng Arrested
On the evening of September 27, 2007, the police broke into practitioner Mr. Pan Desheng's rented apartment, arrested him, and confiscated a computer, three printers, a laser recording tower, two laptops, and other personal belongings without any warrant.
Mr. Pan Desheng, over 50 years old, is a carpenter. In February 2006, his home was ransacked. To avoid further persecution and arrest, he had to leave home.
10. [Tianjin City] Mr. Li Xuehong Persecuted
On September 26, 2007, practitioner Mr. Li Xuehong of Tanggu, Tianjin, was arrested by six or seven people from the National Security Brigade of the Tanggu District Police Station while he was working at Jienuokang Auto Repair Shop. He is detained at the Tanggu Detention Center.
Mr. Li is 63 years old. In October 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa and was imprisoned in a forced labor camp for one year as a result. He suffered severe mistreatment in Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp. He was brutally beaten by the guards; deprived of sleep for eight days and nights; confined in a cold, wet room; and doused with cold water over his head during winter. He developed scabies all over his body and became emaciated. On January 16, 2001, Mr. Li was arrested again by agents of the Tanggu 610 Office and detained at a drug rehabilitation center for forced brainwashing. Three months later, Mr. Li was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor at the Sand and Stone Factory in Ji County.

11. [Tianjin City] Ms. Sun Guihua Taken Into Custody
Practitioner Ms. Sun Guihua from Hedong District, Tianjin City, over 50 years old, is a retired technician. At around 8:00 p.m. on October 3, 2007, the police from Hedong Branch Police Station arrested her at home without a warrant. They also took several thousand yuan in cash and a copier machine from her home.
12. [Wucheng County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Changkui and Others Arrested
At around 5:00 a.m. on September 27, 2007, police from Wucheng Police Station arrested practitioners Mr. Wang Changkui, Mr. Zhu Jiajun, Ms. Zhao Qiuxia, Ms. Xiao Meng, Ms. Da Chun, and an unnamed practitioner.
13. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Chunqiang Taken Into Custody
Practitioner Mr. Yu Chunqiang of Tangezhuang Town, Laiyang City, is over 50 years old and is a peasant. He was forced to leave home to avoid persecution. In mid-September 2007, five police officers from Tangezhuang Police Station took him into custody and took him to the Laiyang City Detention Center, where he is still detained.
His wife was arrested by the police in August 2006 because she practices Falun Gong. She was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment.
14. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Hongli Arrested
On September 17, 2007, practitioner Mr. Zhang Hongli was arrested when he was clarifying the truth at Cuizhaoji. The police confiscated his bicycle, an MP3 player, two MP4 players, a DVD player and truth-clarification materials. They also ransacked his home. Mr. Zhang Hongli is in the Pingdu City Detention Center.
In 2002, Mr. Zhang Hongli was "illegally detained" at a forced labor camp for three years for his beliefs.
15. [Wuji County, Hebei Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Zhang Shuangpai
On September 27, 2007, police from Beisu Village Police Station broke into Mr. Zhang Shuangpai's home in Wuji County and confiscated a computer, a printer and other personal belongings. They arrested Mr. Zhang without a warrant and sent him to the Wuji County Detention Center.
16. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Yuying Arrested
Towards the end of September 2007, practitioner Ms. Song Yuying was at home when the police from Synthetic Leather Factory Police Station forcibly arrested her and sent her to a brainwashing center. Ms. Song is over 70 years old and worked at Yantai Synthetic Leather Factory.
17. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yunhui and Ms. Song Guilin Taken Into Custody
On the evening of October 3, 2007, Yuke Village government officials in Hebei Province broke into the homes of practitioners Ms. Zhang Yunhui and Ms. Song Guilin. The officials then took Ms. Zhang and Ms. Song the Village Law Enforcement Office, brutally beat them, and then released them in the middle of the night. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
18. [Qi County, Henan Province] Mr. Zhang Mingtong and Other Practitioners Detained at a Forced Labor Camp
In October 2007, practitioners Mr. Zhang Mingtong; Mr. Zhang Mingtang, 61; Mr. Zhang Shufan, 62; Mr. Yang Shouling, 70; and Mr. Zhang Feng from Shawo Village, Qi County, were detained at a forced labor camp. Mr. Zhang Shufan was sent to the Kaifeng Forced Labor Camp, while the others were sent to the Xuchang Forced Labor Camp.
Xingkou Village practitioner Mr. Liu Jibin was fined more than 100,000 yuan before he was released.

19. [Qi County, Henan Province] Mr. Li Jiren and His Wife Arrested Again
On October 2, 2007, the director of Shawo Village Police Station and a team of police officers broke into Mr. Li Jiren's home and arrested Mr. Li Jiren and his wife, Ms. Wang Jinying. The police also arrested practitioner Mr. Guo Gangfeng. They are now detained in the Qi County Detention Center.
20. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Police Publicly Assault a Practitioner for Posting Truth-Clarification Materials
In early September 2007, Mian County police publicly assaulted a practitioner who was handcuffed. They demanded that the practitioner tell them the source of certain truth-clarification materials. A day later at the same location, four or five police officers approached a female practitioner who could not walk by herself, held her up, and pushed her to try to force her to tell them where certain truth-clarification materials came from. The current whereabouts of both practitioners are unknown.
21. [Xixia County, Henan Province] Update on Mr. Han Baoxin and Ms. Zhang Donglian
On September 13, 2007, practitioner Mr. Han Baoxin, a retired police officer around 70 years old, was arrested at home. His home was also ransacked. He is now at Xixia County Hospital. His wife, Ms. Zhang Donglian, around 60 years old, was taken into custody on the same day. Her whereabouts are unknown.
22. [Akesu City, Xinjiang] Mr. An Jingsong Arrested
Practitioner Mr. An Jingsong of Akesu City Television Station was taken to a brainwashing center on October 5, 2007. His mother passed away on September 26, 2007, and now his elderly father has no one to look after him.
From August 2004 to August 2006, Mr. An Jingsong was detained at the Xinjiang Changji Forced Labor Camp. After he was released, he was fired by the television station only because he still practiced Falun Gong.
23. [Guizhou Province] Mr. Wang Shougui and Others Illegally Detained at the Liupanshui City First Detention Center
On October 1, 2007, Liupanshui City practitioners Mr. Wang Shougui, Mr. Qian, and others were arrested. They were then sent to the Liupanshui City First Detention Center where they are still detained.
24. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Jinxiang and Mr. Qiu Shurong Arrested
On October 5, 2007, practitioners Ms. Chen Jinxiang and Mr. Qiu Shurong were arrested when they were telling people the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution in Guobei Town, Neijiang City.
25. [Chongqing City] Mr. Wang Mingzhen and Mr. Pang Dingrong Arrested
On October 3, 2007, Chongqing practitioners Mr. Wang Mingzhen and Mr. Pang Dingrong were clarifying the truth. They were taken into custody by undercover police at Yubeihuangnipang. They are currently detained in the Yubei District Brainwashing Center.
26. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Ms. Da Li Persecuted and Forced to Leave Home
On the afternoon of September 15, 2007, practitioner Da Li was talking to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution and distributing copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Someone reported Ms. Da to the authorities. Officers from the County National Security Brigade, the 610 Office, and the police station then arrested her without a warrant. At midnight the same day, she made her way out with righteous thoughts.
27. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Liu Guiying of Nangang Area Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Liu Guiying of Nangang Area, Dachang, Nanjing City, was arrested in September 2007.
28. [Suixi County, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhang Meie and Two Other Practitioners Arrested
On the afternoon of September 30, 2007, practitioners Ms. Zhang Meie, Ms. Chen, and Ms. Wang were taken into custody by Suixi police officers. They have been sent to a "transformation" center.
29. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Jian Chengan and His Wife Detained at Detention Center
On September 26, 2007, practitioners Mr. Jian Chengan and his wife were arrested at home by personnel of Shuangsheng Town Police Station and the 610 Office. They are now in Shifang Detention Center.
30. [Chongqing City] Mr. Huang Jianjun, Mr. Zhou Xiaojun, and Ms. Zhang Min Arrested
On the afternoon of September 30, 2007, Shapingba District, Chongqing City, practitioners Mr. Huang Jianjun, Mr. Zhou Xiaojun, and Ms. Zhang Min were seized at Tianxinqiao in the Shapingba District by National Security personnel. Their homes were also ransacked.
