Today's report relates to persecution incidents that involve 18 cities or counties in nine provinces. Twenty-seven practitioners were subjected to maltreatment during detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Tianshui, Gansu Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Xu Feng Severely Persecuted
On the morning of September 21, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Feng was handcuffed and placed in solitary confinement in Tianshui Prison. The police instigated four to five criminal inmates to monitor and torture him.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Yuejian Illegally Detained Beyond Term
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Yuejian was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and detained at the Weizigou Forced Labor Camp. He was due for release on September 16, 2007, but is still being detained without reason.
3. [Lushun, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wei Donglan Arrested
In the afternoon of September 18, 2007, Lushun Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wei Donglan was arrested by police from Minzhuqiao Police Station in Lushun. A portrait of Teacher, Dafa books, a computer and printer, along with other valuables were taken away.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Hou Chuanren Arrested by Baiju Road Local Police Station and Forcibly Sent to Weizigou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun
5. [Suihua, Heilongjiang Province] Zhaoyuan Farm Authorities Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Yakun, Lu Xiuqin and Others
In early September 2007, police of Zhaoyuan Farm searched Falun Dafa practitioners' homes one by one. They arrested five Falun Dafa practitioners, including Ms. Wang Yakun and Ms. Lu Xiuqin. They are now detained at the Nongken Sub-bureau Detention Center in Suihua.
6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Haiying and Others Persecuted by Yaojia Detention Center
In early September 2007, Yaojia Detention Center of Dalian persecuted illegally detained Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Haiying, Ms. Ren Guixia and Ms. Ding Zhenfang. They handcuffed the practitioners' four limbs and tied them to fixed hoops on the floor. During that period, practitioners could not sit, stand, or lie down properly. They were not allowed to go to the restroom or eat normally. Ding Zhenfang is currently still detained in the detention center.
7. [Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Xiushan Persecuted
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Xiushan is being held in the Jilin Prison. He is strictly monitored by police for reading Dafa materials and locked up in a small cell 17 hours a day.
8. [Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Dong Wenwu Arrested
On the night of September 18, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Dong Wenwu from Daxinganling was arrested in Chengfeng, Daqing by policeman Deng Hui from the Chengfeng Public Security Sub-bureau. Mr. Dong Wenwu's whereabouts are currently unknown.
9. [Jilin Province] Latest News on Arrested Falun Dafa Practitioners in Yanji City
On September 13, 2007, arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Xingcai of Yanji was recently sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. Another three practitioners were also sentenced and detained at Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp and Jiutai Forced Labor Camp.
10. [Lanxi County, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Han Xingrong and Ms. Mao Shuhua Detained at Suihua Detention Center
11. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhao Litang Arrested
Before dawn on June 24, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Litang from Tumen was arrested by police of the Guangzhou City 610 Office and the National Protection Unit of the Public Security Bureau.
Since 2000, the Tumen City 610 Office has arrested and sentenced Zhao Litang twice. During that period, Shenyang Railway Bureau dismissed Zhao Litang from his post as a high school physics teacher. Due her father losing his job and being persecuted, her daughter could not withstand the pressure and died in 2003.
12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Chun and Others Transferred from Yaojia Detention Center to Masanjia
On September 20, the Dalian City Public Security Bureau transferred eight Falun Dafa practitioners from Yaojia Detention Center to Masanjia Detention Center. The eight practitioners are Ms. Wang Chunying, Ms. Wang Chunrong, Ms. Wang Haiying, Ms. Liu Yun, Ms. Jiang Jing, Ms. Gao Fengli, Ms. Sun Mian, and Ms. Zhang Yanhua.
13. [Beijing] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Liu Sentenced to Two Years Forced Labor in September 2007
14. [Beijing] In February 2007, Falun Dafa Practitioner Dong Mingquan Arrested
In February 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Dong Mingquan was secretly arrested and detained at Haiding Sub-bureau. In September 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhuang Yanhong from Chaoyang District was arrested.
15. [Xian County, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Heping Arrested
On the night of September 20, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Heping of Chengguan Town, Xian County, Hebei Province was arrested by police of the Xian County National Protection Unit. He was taken to the Xian County Detention Center, and his home was ransacked.
16. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Ms. Sun Lian and Ms. Ye Ying Arrested from Home at 10 p.m. on September 21, 2007
17. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Wang Xiuzhi and Li Qing Arrested
On September 5, 2007, a Dafa material production site was destroyed in Shuangta District, Zhuozhou City and Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuzhi and Ms. Li Qing were arrested. Police confiscated a printer, photocopier, scanner, MP3 player, a speaker, copies of Master's articles, and other items.
18. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Yu Chunqiang Arrested
On the morning of September 21, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Chunqiang of West Hebei Village, Tange Village, Laiyang City was arrested from home by Laiyang police. His cell phone and MP3 were forcibly taken away.
19. [Jinan, Shandong] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Lianzhen Arrested
Ms. Wang Lianzhen, approximately 60 years old, was arrested from her home by police on September 13, 2007. She is currently detained at the Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center.
20. [Qufu City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhuo Zhongqin and Wang Ruiqi Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhuo Zhongqin is the former deputy director general of the Appeals Office in Qufu City, Shandong Province. He was reported when he was clarifying the truth to people. On the morning of September 18, 2007, Zhang Lifeng, assistant director of the Qufu 610 Office, led police and broke into the home of Zhuo Zhongqin. They ransacked his home, confiscated a computer and other belongings, arrested him, and put him into a detention center.
At around the same time, Mr. Wang Ruiqi (over 70 years old), an official of the Water Conservation Bureau, was also arrested. He was detained at Nanguan Local Police Station until the afternoon, and was only released after paying a 4,000 yuan fine.

21. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Xue Liangyan Arrested
On September 19, 2007, Ms. Xue Liangyan, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hukou, was arrested and her home was ransacked by police from the Tongxin Local Police Station in Donghu Development District. She has been transferred to the Dongxihu Brainwashing Center.
22. [Tianzhu County, Gansu Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Yue Fengtai Arrested
On September 20, 2007, destitute Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yue Fengtai of Tianzhu County, Gansu Province was followed and arrested by police of the Tianzhu County Public Security Bureau.
23. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mao Changwang Arrested
On the morning of September 21, 2007, Chenxi County Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Mao Changwang was arrested by police from the county 610 Office, national security bureau and public security bureau, and taken to the Huaihua City Brainwashing Center.
24. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhang Tao and Bo Bo Arrested
On September 19, 2007, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Tao's home was ransacked by police. A computer, printer and other equipment were confiscated. Mr. Zhang Tao and Mr. Bo Bo were arrested, and their whereabouts are unknown.
25. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Xiao Yingxue's Home Ransacked
At 8 p.m. September 19, 2007, police officer Cao Youzhen of Yijiadun Local Police Station ransacked the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Yingxue. Dafa books, Dafa materials, a multi-function machine and other items were confiscated.
26. [Huaihua, Hunan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mi Caiwen Arrested
After 5 p.m. September 21, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Mi Caiwen of Huangxikou Town, Chenxi County, Huaihua, Hunan Province was arrested from her home, which was then ransacked. Dafa books and Teacher's portrait were confiscated.
27. [Gansu Province] Recent Persecution Cases in Wuwei City
From mid-August to August 30, 2007, Wuwei City Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Huang Xinyue, Mr. Lu Xinzhong, Ms. Wang Yuhong, Ms. Wang Yucui, Ms. Zhang Huiqin, Ms. Zhang Huilan, Ms. Zhang Xuemin and others were reported when they were distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification material. They were arrested by police of Wuwei City and the district public security bureau. Yu Fengying was released after 15 days of detention.
28. [Pingdu, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Baoyun Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Baoyun was followed by Huangdao police for several months. In September 2007, he was arrested and taken to Huangdao.
