The rally organizers invited Hong Kong democracy activists, religious people, victims of the CCP's tyranny and volunteers for the Service Center for Quitting the CCP to attend and make speeches.

Former Legislative Council member, priest Fung Chi-wood condemned the CCP's brutal suppression of Falun Gong that has persisted for eight years. He said that it is a citizen's basic right, not a crime, to choose one's belief. The guilty ones are those who suppress Falun Gong practitioners in China. Because the perpetrators know what they have done is wrong, they deal with the issue with methods that are inhumane and offensive to God and reason.

Stand up for China's future
Huang Ruifen, a volunteer for the Taiwan Service Center for Quitting the CCP, said that the current situation is that people not only quit the CCP for themselves but also help their family members and relatives quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Once she received a phone call from Guangzhou. The person wanted to help 25 family members quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Ms. Huang also gave another example that a police officer quit the CCP first for himself, and then got on the Epoch Times website to help his wife, son and parents quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The police officer also promised the volunteer that he would treat Falun Gong practitioners kindly, and release all detained Falun Gong practitioners at the proper opportunity. Ms. Huang pointed out that such examples are numerous. They reflect the Chinese people's spontaneous spiritual awakening, which is peaceful, rational and non-violent. She said that spreading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and participating in rallies in support of quitting the CCP are not to overthrow the wicked CCP, nor to seek the power, but to help more kind people see clearly the evil nature of the CCP, and not to be accomplices of the murderers. Ms. Liao is nearly 70 years old. She is a volunteer for the Hong Kong Service Center for Quitting the CCP. She said that when tourists saw materials about things happening in China at tourist spots, they felt quite good and said those materials address what is in their minds. They expressed their gratitude to the volunteers.
Ms. Liao told a story about quitting the CCP. Once she saw four men who looked like CCP officials looking at display boards about quitting the CCP while hiding in a dim place. Ms. Liao knew that they had fear but still wanted to see. Ms. Liao showed them the photo of the miraculous stone with the words "Chinese Communist Party Collapses," and told them that the heaven will eliminate the CCP. She pointed out that the CCP is a specter from the West. The Chinese people have been forced to be children of Marx and Lenin, but actually, China has 5,000 years of culture. We should be children of China.
The four men's facial expressions changed while listening to Ms. Huang. Finally Ms. Liao helped three of them quit the CCP with aliases.
Ms. Liao said that many tourists did not dare to speak their minds while listening to volunteers clarifying the facts to them, but once they got on the buses, they would make thumbs-up gestures to the volunteers to express their thanks.
Hong Kong Court accepts and handles lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, showing its justice
Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Fu Xueying talked about how she and another practitioner, Mr. Chu O Ming, filed a lawsuit at the Hong Kong Supreme People's Court against the chief culprits for persecuting Falun Gong--former head of the CCP Jiang Zemin and head of 610 Office Gestapo-like agency, Luo Gan and Li Lanqing on June 28, 2007. Ms. Fu said that there will be a hearing about the case on November 8. Whether or not the Hong Kong court can endure the CCP's pressure is a big test for the court. She said that they expect the court to handle the case with justice and according to the law.
She said that the lawsuit against the three perpetrators is to stop the inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, and help the world's people see clearly the CCP's evil nature. She also pointed out that she felt responsible to reveal to the public what she had suffered for practicing Falun Gong in China (she was sentenced to three years in prison for distributing flyers clarifying the facts about Falun Gong), so as to awaken people's conscience, so that all righteous people in the world will work together to stop the persecution.
