(Clearwisdom.net) In order to protest the CCP's brutal persecution against Falun Gong since 1999, a group of practitioners in Gothenburg gathered at the Chinese Embassy on October 1.
The practitioners' representative delivered a short talk. He said, ''October 1st is the day the Chinese people lost their nation, the day the CCP stole our nation. A national celebration should be a day that makes people happy, but this day makes Chinese people feel sad. Inside China, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been killed and their organs taken and sold for profit. Outside China, many Chinese people have been refused visas while attempting to go back to China; their right to go home and be with family and friends were taken away. As long as the CCP's dictatorship exists, Chinese traditional culture and morality will be suppressed. The CCP's National Day is the day the Chinese people lost their nation. The CCP is not China.''
A volunteer from the Withdrawal Center, Ms. Wansheng Si, said in her talk, ''The Chinese people abhor the CCP. In only three years, the number of people who have withdrawn from the CCP has reached twenty six million. These brave people make the CCP afraid. They are not scared of the CCP's arrogance. The famous human rights lawyer Zhisheng Gao, although he is suffering from persecution, is still unflagging. Not long ago, he sent a letter to the American Congress, demonstrating with facts that the CCP does not qualify to hold the Olympics. Thus Gao was arrested once again, and up to now nobody knows where he is. We are making use of this lost national day, asking the CCP to release Lawyer Zhisheng Gao. We also call on the Swedish people to pay attention to the persecution happening in China.''
Passers-by and passing vehicles expressed their support for Falun Gong practitioners by nodding, smiling and making friendly gestures after carefully reading the banners.
