Three Falun Gong Practitioners from Beijing, Hebei Province and Liaoning Province Died as a Result of Persecution
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Guo Jianju, 56, was a Falun Gong practitioner
from the Baoyu Section Residential Quarter in Fengtai District,
Beijing. She was illegally detained and
subjected to persecution several times because she persisted in
doing Falun Gong exercises outdoors after the persecution began on
July 20, 1999. On April 18, 2000, she was illegally sentenced to
one year of imprisonment in a forced labor camp. On October 28,
2002, police officers from the Kandan Local Police Station in
Fengtai District and the national security agents from 610 Office searched her
home. She was taken from her home and sent to a forced labor camp,
where she was detained for two and a half years, and sustained
physical injuries. In January 2005, national security agents
searched her home again. At that time she was not at home, and they
arrested her husband Feng Ze (also a Falun Gong practitioner),
whose whereabouts are currently unknown. Her mind was thus
subjected to one more assault. The long period of suffering in such
a bad environment finally caused her mental collapse. She died on
November 26, 2006.
