(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
1. Karmic Retribution Cases at Sun Yat-Sen University's No. 3 Affiliated Hospital in Guangzhou City
Tang Jijun was Chairman of the Security Division at Sun Yat-Sen University's No. 3 Affiliated Hospital in Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. As a henchman of Jiang Zemin, Tang had persecuted Falun Gong practitioners since July 20, 1999, as soon as the persecution of Falun Gong started. He repeatedly led policemen to Falun Gong practitioners, causing them to be arrested. He teamed up with the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) officials at the hospital to deduct the salary of Falun Gong practitioners, extorted their money in the name fines and expelled them from school. Tang died of cirrhosis and profuse upper gastrointestinal bleeding on August 1, 2003.
Deng Lianxian was Secretary of the CCP branch at the Infectious Disease Unit. Deng actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in 1999 and died of SARS in 2003. It was alleged that Deng did not participate in rescuing any SARS patients, but in the CCP's propaganda about SARS, Deng was portrayed as a hero for rescuing SARS patients after he came down with SARS for the purpose of giving the Party undeserved praise. The CCP even made a statue of Deng to deceive the Chinese people.
Lu Muzhen was Chairman of the Nurse Unit. Lu teamed up with the local 610 Office in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. She personally reported Falun Gong practitioners to the 610 Office, helped to arrest them and send them to a forced brainwashing center. Lu died of breast cancer in May 2003.
2. Li Heping, Former Head of the Security Unit at the Ministry of Information Industry's No. 5 Research Institute, Suffers Karmic Retributions after Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners
Li Heping was the Head of the Security Unit at the Ministry of Information Industry's No. 5 Research Institute. For the past few years, he has been an instrument of Jiang Zemin in the persecution of Falun Gong and he has actively teamed up with the 610 Office in Tianhe District. Li created a brainwashing center at the workplace and forced Falun Gong practitioners to attend brainwashing sessions. In addition, Li ransacked practitioners' homes, suspended their salaries, had them put into psychiatric hospitals, detention centers, forced labor camps and forced brainwashing centers for physical and psychiatric abuse. He had practitioners followed and watched and reported them to the police. In 2001, Tianhe District Public Security Bureau gave Li an excellent performance review for his "accomplishments" in suppressing Falun Gong. In 2005, around the Chinese New Year, Li had two heart attacks and had to be sent to the hospital for resuscitation. In addition, he has been sued for stealing tens of thousands of yuan from public funds.
3. Zeng Xianhui from Yangjiang City Professional Technology College Died as a Result of Karmic Retribution
Zeng Xianhui was Chairman of Yangjiang City Professional Technology College (formerly Yangjiang Teachers' College). In 2000, Zeng reported a Falun Gong practitioner to the police who was a student at the college, despite the fact that the practitioner was a relative of his. Consequently, the practitioner has repeatedly suffered from persecution and imprisonment for the past several years. In the end of April 2006, the practitioner was once again illegally arrested and sentenced to prison. Zeng has died of cancer.
4. Policemen Wu Hongzhan and Chen Zhipei Killed in a Car Accident
Wu Hongzhan was a policeman from Leizhou City Public Security Bureau. Wu often organized and directed actions to have Falun Gong practitioners arrested and illegally sentenced to prison or forced labor camp. Falun Gong practitioners advised Wu to stop persecuting good people or he would suffer karmic retribution sooner or later, but Wu turned a deaf ear to the advice. On October 1, 2003, Wu traveled to Guangxi Province for a vacation with his wife, son, the Captain of the Criminal Investigation Unit Chen Zhipei (male), and a driver. They had a car accident and Wu and Chen were both killed on the spot.
5. Director of Guangning County Court Lu Gancheng Died After Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners
As Director of Guangning County Court, Lu Gancheng moonlighted in watching and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Lu confiscated and burned Falun Gong books in the towns assigned to him. After being tormented by nasopharyngeal cancer for two years, Lu died in agony in August 2005.
6. Cases of Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Falun Gong in Guangdong Province
Lin Li is a resident of Xixi Village, Xichang Town, Jiedong County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. In August 1999, Lin went to a police station and gave the police a list of villagers that practiced Falun Gong, in an attempt to have them persecuted. In 2000 Lin had a stroke and became paralyzed. He was left in a vegetative state which brought great misery to his family.
Chen Shushu, with an alias of Handi, is a man from Fengchao Village, Dongshan District, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. He once reported a Falun Gong practitioner to the police and assisted the police in forcibly taking the practitioner to the police station. Shortly afterwards, his jaw suddenly became dislocated while he was standing in front of his shop, selling paper money (burned to offer up for the ancestors). He sought medical treatment at Ciyun Hospital, but the condition did not improve. Later, he went to a provincial-level hospital for medical treatment, which cost him tens of thousands of yuan.
On the evening of February 19, 2000, Wu Long, a security officer in Dongshan Village, Dongshan District, Jieyang City, persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in the village. He ransacked Falun Gong practitioners' homes, confiscated their Falun Gong books and declared that he would burn Teacher's photographs and Falun Gong books. A month later, he was driving a village car when a large truck smashed into his car in front of Shuxing Restaurant in Dongshan Village and killed him instantly.
Wu Laoxu was a security officer in Lubi Village. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, Wu repeatedly took the police to Falun Gong practitioners' homes in the middle of the night and had their homes ransacked. He also forced practitioners to renounce Falun Gong in writing, and also had them arrested and imprisoned in the middle of the Chinese New Year. Practitioners have repeatedly explained to Wu what Falun Gong is about and taught him the heavenly law of karmic retribution, but Wu only sneered at practitioners and walked away. Wu was a robust man, so it came as a surprise when he died of a terminal illness in 2001.
7. Evildoers from Maoming City, Guangdong Province Suffer Retribution for Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners
Lai Fuchao was a man in his 60s and Security Chairman in Shanliao, Boxin Town, Maogang District, Maoming City. Since July 20, 1999, he had been an instrument of Jiang Zemin in the persecution of Falun Gong. He posted hate propaganda materials against Falun Gong everywhere and tore up Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. He followed, watched, and reported Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners repeatedly clarified the truth about Falun Gong to his family and him, but he turned a deaf ear and continued to commit crimes against practitioners. In 2005, Lai was diagnosed with cancer and died in agony in April 2005.
Wang Shuchun, about 58, is Security Chairman of Liujia Village Committee, Boxin Town, Maogang District, Maoming City. In 2002, he bribed his way to the position of Security Chairman. In order to advance in his political career, Wang actively assisted the local 610 Office in arresting and harassing local practitioners. Practitioners repeatedly explained to Wang the law that heaven will ultimately punish wicked deeds, but he did not heed their advice. On the evening of May 5, 2005, three young hoodlums attacked Wang in Diaoji Village with large kitchen knives. They slashed him six times and took a piece of his scalp. The injuries were so severe that Poxin Town Health Center refused to admit him. He was transferred to Maoming Hospital to stitch the wounds, but the surgery did not go well, so they had to open the wounds again and re-stitch them, which took three more hours. His family said in tears that he must have committed terrible sins to deserve such torture.
On September 6, 2005, a most bizarre traffic accident took place in Zhensheng Town, Maoming City. A three-wheel motorbike at low speed flipped on a smooth, open highway, causing four men on the motorbike to suffer from different degrees of injury. Li Jinlan, former Security Chairman of Jianghuan Village Committee, Zhensheng Town, is the owner of the motorbike. During his post, he was an instrument of Jiang Zemin in the persecution of Falun Gong. He once arrested a Falun Gong practitioner when the practitioner was distributing truth-clarification materials and claimed the reward from the police station. At the time, the reward for helping the police arrest one Falun Gong practitioner was 2,000 yuan.
8. Persecutors from Heshou Village, Dianbai County and Gaokeng Village, Zijin County, Each Killed by Mentally Ill People
Ya Shao was a villager in Heshou Village, Danchang Town, Dianbai County, Guangdong Province. During one Chinese New Year, Ya obstructed Falun Gong practitioners from entering the village to clarify the truth about Falun Gong or distribute Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. He declared he would kill with a hoe anyone who entered the village to clarify the truth about Falun Gong or distribute truth-clarification materials about Falun Gong. A few days later, a psychopath approached Ya Shao, grabbed the hoe from his hand and killed him with it. Because the killer is legally insane, he was not prosecuted for the murder.
Ye Zhuohua was the Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party branch in Gaokeng Village, Lantang Town, Zijin County. Since July 20, 1999, Ye had teamed up with the police to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Ye also slandered Falun Gong on TV and enjoyed his short-lived celebrity status. Shortly afterwards, a mentally ill person from the village killed him with a knife when Ye was on his way home.
9. Li Junhao, Mayor of Zhiguliao Village, Zhanlong Town, Puning City, Guangdong Province, Died as a Result of Karmic Retribution
Li Junhao, 44, was mayor of Zhiguliao Village, Zhanlong Town, Puning City, Guangdong Province. In 2002 and 2003, Li often took town government officials and the police to Falun Gong practitioners' homes where he threatened and harassed practitioners. Villagers asked Li to stop and told him that persecuting Falun Gong practitioners would result in karmic retribution, but Li refused to listen. He even had his own relatives spy on Falun Gong practitioners. On January 29, 2005, Li was driving to Dongwan running errands when he hit a truck in repair on the shoulder of the highway in Kuitan and he was killed. Before he became the mayor, Li Junhao was a thuggish leader of a gang in the underground world, roaming the streets and bullying villagers. Since Li became the mayor, he became all the more depraved. He stole from the government budget for the local infrastructure work.
Wu Jiayan is a member of Potou Village Committee in Potou Village, Zhanlong Town, Puning City, Guangdong Province. For the past few years, Wu often took policemen to Falun Gong practitioners' homes and harassed them. On March 4, 2005, Wu went to a Falun Gong practitioner's home and threatened him. He said, "If you continue to practice Falun Gong, I will throw you in 'the government learning center.'" [The so-called government learning center is actually the forced brainwashing center where Falun Gong practitioners are subjected to physical and psychological abuse.] On March 13, a villager and Wu went out on a motorbike and hit a car. Wu was sent to the hospital and diagnosed with blood clots in his brain.
We would like to advise those people who are still working as the Chinese Communist Party's instruments to persecute Falun Gong practitioner and suppress Falun Gong, to stop your wrongdoings at once, repent for your crimes and start your new life as a good person. If you continue to follow the orders of the Chinese Communist Party to persecute Falun Gong, you will suffer the same inevitable fate as the Chinese Communist Party. Heaven will annihilate the Chinese Communist Party eventually, as well as the henchmen of the Chinese Communist Party who have committed terrible crimes against Falun Gong!
